Kal Son Of Odin

The last child of Krypton, wherever in the universe his small spaceship would land, would be destined for great things. But it is in the Halls of Asgard where he, the adopted son of the great god Odin, where he may change the destiny of both his homeland and the lands of others.
‘’Kall Son Of Odin’’ contains the following examples:
- The Bore: While competent as an advisor, Mimir is so dull that Odin thinks he would enter the Odinsleep if he had to listen to his crop reports longer than necessary.
- Dented Iron: While still a tough warrior, even Odin can’t ignore time and its effects on his body.
- Death of a Child: Happily subverted. Kal almost struggled to adapt to the new atmosphere of Asgard but turned out fine.
- Happily Adopted: From the moment Kal entered Frigga’s arms, she would care for him like he was her own. Odin himself felt nothing but love for Kal.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Kryptonians caused their own destruction when scientists attempted to harvest energy from the planet’s core.
- Mama Bear: Once he learns about Kal’s power and Kryptonian heritage, Frigga is determined to protect him from the wicked at all costs.
- No Biochemical Barriers: Downplayed: Kal’s lungs struggled to adapt to the entirely new atmosphere of Asgard, but he was able to adjust after a few days.
- Shrouded in Myth: Despite its distance from Asgard, the power and intelligence of Kryptonians were known even to the likes of Odin and Frigga, and both are saddened to learn of the planet’s destruction.
