Base Game

  • If you use the Radiant Flame, reduce the number of drinks by half. If you use any Infernal Flames, multiply the amount of drinks by 2.
  • Drink if one of your heroes starts with a terrible negative quirk at the Crossroads, before the game even begins.
  • Drink every time two of your characters form a negative relationship.
    • Take a sip if they form a positive relationship.
  • Do a shot if two of your party members somehow manage to develop a relationship at the Torch and Crown in the Valley.
  • Drink every time one of your characters has a Meltdown.
    • Take a sip if they instead become Resolute.
    • Drink and Gargle with it if your Flagellant goes Toxic.
  • Drink any time your heroes contract a disease. Finish your drink if you just passed or were just at a Field Hospital.
    • Finish your drink if you enter a Chirurgeon’s Table, cure a disease, only to exit the encounter with a new disease.
  • Take a sip every time you cross Rough or Hazardous terrain.
    • Drink every time the Loathing increases.
    • Finish your drink if the Loathing maxes out and you increase the Confession boss' max health by ten percent.
    • Drink if you end up in a repair fight due to either Wheels or Armor running out. Finish your drink if this causes you to lose a hero.
  • Drink if the Academic chastises you for stopping the Stagecoach.
  • Take a sip if you manage to get through the Sluice.
  • If you hire the Bounty Hunter, take a drink for every time you hired him at the very end of the run as payment. If he dies, finish your drink and still drink at the end of the run. It's your punishment for getting a Purposefully Overpowered character killed.
  • Drink whenever a Fanatic ignites. Drink more if an Immolatist did it before they could ignite normally.
    • Finish your drink if the Librarian manages to burn all his books and ignites.
  • Take a sip every round that a Drummer stays alive.(Kill 'em quickly to save your liver!)
  • Do a shot if the Dreaming General manages to use Nightmare on your party. It's your own fault.
  • Drink if a Carrion Eater manages to eat a corpse and become a Carrion Devourer.
  • Take a sip every time you snicker at one of the Lord's animations.
  • Take a sip any time your DPS heroes lose their whole turn to the Harvest Child's Putrid Meat.
  • Drink if a Cabin Boy manages to transform.
    • Finish your drink if it transforms into a Docker.
  • Drink if the Leviathan uses Undertow on your main damage dealer.
    • Take a sip if they resist it.
  • Take a sip if you encounter the Antiquarian or Collector.
  • Drink if Death shows up after you win a Resistance encounter. Finish your drink if she kills the Flagellant. (Death has come to claim her elusive prize!)
  • Drink any time a Cultist enemy uses Exultation. Yes, this includes Exemplars.
  • Raise a toast if you make it to the Mountain.
    • Finish your drink if you don't make it to the Confession boss.
    • Finish your drink if you party wipe to the Confession boss. Do an extra shot if it's the Focused Fault.
  • Raise another toast if you beat the Confession.
