- Never Say "Die": Enforced in-universe in comic #22. A hero faces off against the villain who took his home and family from him. Sword in hand, he begins to declare, "I WILL KI—", only to be reminded that he is in a kids movie and reluctantly switch to "destroy you."
- Parental Favoritism: Comic #24 has the main character's sister ask their mother who her favorite child is between them. She assures them that she loves them both equally, but after the sister leaves, the mother tells her son that "it's [him]... and by A LOT."
