Brenda Fricker is an Irish actress. She won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the biopic My Left Foot. Her other films include Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, So I Married an Axe Murderer, Angels in the Outfield, A Time to Kill, Veronica Guerin and Albert Nobbs. On television, she was a regular on the BBC medical drama CASUAL+Y. In 1996, her role in My Left Foot was honored with an Irish postage stamp to commemorate the centenary of Irish cinema.
