Yagami Riku's older brother. A former member of the Honan Stride team who left in his third year of high school to study abroad in America. He returns to invite Kuga to join his school.

• Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette: Although when running he is as fabulous as Kuga.
• Innocently Insensitive
• Red Eyes, Take Warning: His red eyes seems to exemplify the fact he is the most talented of the Golden Trio and the only one to pull a Face–Heel Turn. Also, it's in darker shade than Riku's eye color.
• Sibling Yin-Yang: Riku is blonde, light-hearted and energetic. Tomoe, however, is black haired, aloof and gloomy. Their only similarity is their eye color.
• Trademark Favorite Food: He is always having lunch with bean bread and soy milk, and the cafetaria lady called him out on that. Even back in his parents' home, he always eats that.
• Vocal Dissonance: Tomoe looks eerie, with his bangs and dark black locks, but his voice is much sweeter than it seems like.

The new coach of the Kakyoin Stride team and Nana's father. He is known as the "King" for making the sport popular in Japan. He was working in America at the start of the series before coming back just before the End of Summer tournament.
