This is a list of all the characters that appear in Poly Poly! Speed Daisakusen. Currently under construction.

Gentleman & Black Dog

A kind man and his loyal dog who are out to stop Mad Doctor from misusing the newly discovered polygonium. The pair race in Gentleman's beloved car, the Gentle Machine, which boasts high acceleration and grip but poor top speed.

• Canine Companion: Black Dog, naturally.
• Classy Cane: Only has it on him when he's not racing, though.
• Everyone Calls Him "Barkeep": Played straight with Gentleman, but not with Black Dog. While the hound is called "Black Dog" everywhere in official materials, its name tag and shared profile show its true name to be "Mcly".^note Prounounced "mack-lee" going by the katakana spelling (マクリー)
• Eyeless Face: Neither Gentleman or Black Dog have eyes of any sort (though averted in one example listed below).
• Hellhound: Black Dog's name and look evoke the creature of the same name from English folklore, though this one doesn't seem to have any villainous agendas and is working with its master for a good cause.
• More Teeth than the Osmond Family: Black Dog's mouth has a rather intimidating set of gnashers.
• Nice Guy: What else would one expect from a guy named "Gentleman"?
• No Mouth: Gentleman is normally depicted without a mouth, though one piece of art depicts him with one (as well as spiral eyes) after rear-ending the Mad Machine.

Mad Doctor & Monster Cat

An evil scientist who seeks to exploit the energy of polygonium for his own purposes. Along with his feline friend, he is on the run from Gentleman, and is the creator of all the machines. His own car, the Mad Machine, is very fast but has poor acceleration and handling.
