YMMV / Poly Poly! Speed Daisakusen

• Creepy Cute: Black Dog. It may have a rather unnerving set of chompers, but its low-poly look and the fact it sits patiently beside its master in each race makes it strangely adorable.
• Stuck in Their Shadow: The game itself is hit rather hard with this trope. Compared to its contemporary games on Vol. 18, (those being Serilly's Happy Birthday, Fight!! Kitade Man, and Option Monster LIGHT), and even compared to most other Disc Station games in general, Poly Poly! Speed Daisakusen has never really had much of a following. The fact it needed something a lot of people didn't have in order to work, and that it was surrounded by more accessible titles from already-established series seemed to doom it to be forgotten from the start.
