Gulliver Crow

Your ass is mine!

An infamous mercenary who specializes in retrieving lost treasures and artifacts for various employers of dubious nature. Crow is the only son of a famed archaeologist, whom he despised, and half the reason he turned to mercenary life was as a big "up yours" to his old man. Arrogant, smug, sarcastic and dry-witted, Crow is quite antisocial and egotistical. Every now and then he gets a Pet the Dog moment, but for the most part, he's an Anti-Hero. Specifically a Sociopathic Hero, depending on how you look at him...

  • Adventurer Archaeologist: Crow would never admit it, but he'd make a fine archaeologist, what with his magnificent skill in reading languages, intimate knowledge of ancient history, and proficiency with navigating tombs or temples with traps. Unfortunately, he uses his archaeology-themed talents, given to him by his father (under HARSH tutelage, mind), to be a mercenary and thug-for-hire. But nevertheless, his adventures are in the Indiana Jones tradition of looking for lost treasure, mythical artifacts, and long-lost lands while fighting slimy villains and globetrotting.
  • Anti-Hero: Type V, with some shades of Type IV, but only really when he's feeling uncharacteristically generous.
  • Berserk Button: Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER call Crow inferior to his father.
  • Born Winner: Crow is an exemplary specimen of physical health and reflexes. So even though he's human, and flesh and blood, his natural talent makes him seem superhuman in comparison to most.
  • Catchphrase:
    Your ass is mine!
  • Chick Magnet: Crow is known for his rugged good looks, which attracts many ladies to him. At least, until they witness his personality.
  • Cosmic Plaything: Crow likes to think he some deity is messing with him, but is probably just being his negative self.
  • Cultured Warrior: He may be a vicious mercenary, but he's a well-read one.
  • Expy: A Darkerand Edgier Indiana Jones.
  • Indy Ploy: His whole plan (or lack thereof) to get the necklace back from a gang of mercenaries fleeing in an airplane.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Crow may be an asshole and a repressed psychopath, but he is capable of feeling sympathy, remorse, guilt and love. You just have to really push him.
  • One-Man Army: Crow, if left to his own devices, could easily slaughter an entire bar if he so wished.
  • Save the Villain: Crow tries to change Boris' mind and redeem him. Doesn't work.
