Dark Gamera (aka Nightmare Gamera and Mirror Gamera)/Mecha-Gamera
  • Canon Character All Along: He becomes this series' version of Mecha-Gamera from Yoshitomo Yonetani's scrapped Gamera anime after he was destroyed.
  • Composite Character: Becomes this with the Mechanic Gamera.
  • Decomposite Character: He was initially Ayana's image of him in her own dream in the film he appeared in, but this version actually exists, albeit in the other universe.
  • Dark Is Evil: Dark Gamera is much darker in coloration compared to his main counterpart.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: While he may be at odds with his Jiger, the two still care for each other.
  • Evil Counterpart: To the main universe's Gamera
  • Fallen Hero: Gamera had the same origin as the main universe's Gamera, only he was also a brother-in-arms to Jiger. However, after years of experience with humans in history, he began to lose faith in them. When he made his presence known in the modern day inducing fear and panic amongst modern human civilization resulting in getting attacked by the JSDF, he has finally had enough and attacks them in retaliation.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Mixed with Redemption Equals Death, he became Mecha-Gamera, and the original Mirror Gamera's spirit within ultimately forgave humanity. Part of this was Toto, and another part was watching people through Mecha-Gamera that allowed him to finally sympathize with them.
  • Love Redeems: Mirror Gamera's spirit inside Mecha-Gamera ultimately forgave humanity, in part because of Toto.
  • Red and Black and Evil All Over: Dark Gamera's skin is black in coloration, and his eyes are a glowing red.
  • True Final Boss: He is the final antagonist of the series.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: His experience with the Gyaos, Mana, and humanity in history has caused him to give up faith on humanity.
  • Villain Has a Point: Dark Gamera's hatred of humans isn't completely unfounded given that he had very bad experiences with humanity in history after the fall of the Atlantean civilization due to them constantly treating him as a threat. If it weren't for his universe's Toto, then his grudge against humanity wouldn't be dropped to begin with.
    Mirror Jiger
  • Good Counterpart: To the main universe's Jiger. Likewise, she never turned on the Atlanteans in this universe's timeline.
  • Mistaken Identity: When Gamera first encountered her, she mistook him for her universe's Gamera and attacked him immediately. However, she then realizes her mistake when she gets a glance at him.
    Mirror Barugon
  • Good Counterpart: To the main universe's Barugon. And he is always good at heart.
  • Nice Guy: Compared to the main universe's Barugon, he's pretty easy-going.
    Mirror Monga
    Mirror Guiron
    Mirror Zigra
  • Good Counterpart: To the main universe's Zigra.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: While Mirror Zigra can be arrogant from time to time, he cares for his allies and is willing to do everything he can to keep them safe.
    Mirror Wyvern
  • Heel–Face Turn: After being purified of all his sociopathy and sadism, Wyvern became a force of good.
    Mirror Doublius
    Mirror Iris
    Mirror Toto
    Mirror Zedus
  • Good Counterpart: To the main universe's Zedus.
  • Raised by Humans: His Toru Aizawa adopted him and raised him with love and care like how the main universe's Toru did with Toto.
    Mirror Ghaerox
  • Bioweapon Beast: Unlike the main universe's Ghaerox, this one is a bioweapon of the Eustace Foundation that was used against Dark Gamera in case if he ever attacks.
  • Good Counterpart: To the main universe's Ghaerox.
