The Duo
Ramy Chanel is a 23 year old woman
and the point-of-view protagonist in the comic. She moved to Micco City a few years ago, but she ended up at a minimum wage job as a cashier at the fast-food restaurant Hero Burger, as she struggles with a large debt. Her personality is best described as sassy, laid-back, humorous, introverted and often grumpy. She is also a Rubber Man who finds her powers embarrassing, and she often avoids attention, but her chance to be a superhero can help her pay off her debt. Her superhero alias is called “Noodles”.
- Acrofatic: As of 2022, her chubby physique is compensated for by her powers, letting her stay agile.
- Anti-Hero: Even if she’s not a real Jerkass and means well, her goodness has its flaws such as implying a will to kill someone, sarcastically or not: she shouted “DIE!” when hitting the criminal (actually Bett) with a fire extinguisher, an, while helping Frida beat the burglar, muttering to herself that she’ll kill Miss Bett for convincing her to do this. Plus, due to her not wanting attention, she’s been at first reluctant to be a superhero, but then she sees that it can help her with her own conflict: her debt.
- Butt-Monkey: Even before her boss has known about her powers, she not only has to work at a low-wage job for a very long time, she also has to endure her boss’s antics such as once ‘’burning down her own restaurant while making hamburgers’’.
- Dreary Half-Lidded Eyes: Her most common expression with her eyes, done even when she isn’t grumpy as a symbol of her laid-back personality.
- Rubber Man: She provides a personal deconstruction of this trope: to her, it isn’t fun to have stretchy powers due to how much attention it gives her when she uses them in public. A few doodles even show her being able to do more than just stretching, as this deviation shows her forming her hand into a comb.
- Shrinking Violet: She doesn’t like attention, as she’s said multiple times.
- Tooth Strip: Her teeth are usually drawn like this.

Frida Reyes/Kingnote , a 22-year old woman, is the other protagonist alongside her partner Ramy. Wanting to be a superhero for a long time, she was trained by Miss Bett who also gave her a magic belt that activates her dragon-themed henshin powers. She is an action lover, a superhero wannabe, a tomboy, and a comic-enthusiast according to this. Her superhero alias is called “FireDra”.
- Action Girl: She loves action, and she shows it by being herself.
- Ambiguously Brown: Frida is often depicted with brown skin, but it’s never stated where she’s from. Although Takko once stated that she’s Hispanic, downplaying this trope.
- Animal Motifs: Dragon motifs: Frida gains dragon-like powers when saying the magic word. She even has dragon-like eyes.
- Genki Girl: She has a lot of energy, and does her heroism with confidence. Takko even called her a genki girl at least once.
- Henshin Hero: Right down to saying the word when turning on the powers that come from her magic belt.
- Wrench Wench: Takko once stated that Frida helps her father at his car workshop and sometimes gets more pieces for the repairs. Since both her and Ramy have had some traits retconned since then, it’s unknown if this is still true.
Other Characters
- Benevolent Boss: Even though she gives Ramy minimum wage, she likes having fun and treats the latter like a good friend.
- Comic Role Play: In the beginning of the comic, she pretends to be a burglar not just to have fun with her trainee Frida, but also to prank Ramy for sleeping on her job.
- French Maid Outfit: She likes dressing up in one, even looking like a waitress when serving burgers.
- Mentor Archetype: According to Frida, Bett trained the former and even gave her a magic belt.
- Shameless Fanservice Girl: She wears just a black bra without straps, and black hotpants while acting as a villain and doesn’t care about it; she just wants a good time in her game. Now imagine that she’s had to be outside wearing that before getting into her restaurant. She also makes Ramy wear a skimpy suit when making her go help Frida.
