Aytan is a dark-skinned shield mage assigned to the 22nd Magus Expeditionary Unit and one of the six main protagonists in the Aecast webcomic.

- Ambiguously Brown: It is not known what ethnicity Aytan is, as it has never been specified. Given her name though, she is likely some sort of Middle Eastern ethnicity.
- Covert Pervert: Likes an attractive guy and isn't afraid to show it. After meeting with Valens of the 42nd unit, her immediate discussion when she's with alone Hannah is how hot she finds him. Itzel overhears and is not amused.
- Long Hair Is Feminine: Given how she's drawn, Aytan might have the longest hair of any girl in the group, beating out even Naomi and Itzel.
- New Meat: Aytan and Hannah. Both are newcomers to the unit, and are immediately singled out by Itzel, the leader of the group.
- Oh, Crap!: Aytan's reaction in Chapter 2 when Valens of the 44nd Unit gets murdered by a Shenmal while talking to him.
- Smug Smiler: Aytan is shown having this from time to time, especially when talking about her own abilities.
- The Baby of the Bunch: Shared with Hannah. Not only is it suggested that the two of them are the youngest members of the unit, but they both were the very last to join.
- The Gadfly: Done seriously and not so seriously. Immediately shoots back verbal barbs at Itzel when her competency is questioned. Also tried to get a rise out of Valens right before his violent death.
- Tsurime Eyes: Aytan has this when talking to Valens in Chapter 2.
