Nasreen "Nas" Paracha
- Played by: Amy-Leigh Hickman
- Arranged Marriage: Almost goes through with one with Naveed, as a way to conceal both their homosexuality from their families.
- Imagine Spot: Nas stops in front of an Asian bridal shop window and tries to picture herself getting married to the guy her dad's pushing on her, only to freak out when she imagines the groom as Lila.

Kaneez Paracha

- Character Development: Is at first confused and disappointed when her daughter comes out as a lesbian, but Kaneez soon comes to accept her.

Mandy Carter

Cory Wilson
- Played by: Sam Retford
- Ascended Extra: Has a larger role in Series 2 and 3.
- Dawson Casting: Averted; Sam Retford was 17 when filming Series 1.
- Jerk Jock: Appears as such before getting more Character Development in Series 2.
- Teacher/Student Romance: Has a brief relationship with Sian Oakes, the acting headmistress, in Series 3. She manipulates him into thinking they are in love, despite being married.

The Woobie: In Series 3, when he is manipulated by Sian, and she refuses to take any responsibility for her actions or even interact with a heartbroken Cory after their relationship is discovered.
