Jasmine Sharma
One of Joy's best friends.
- Bespectacled Cutie: She wears large, round classes.
- Bollywood Nerd: She's quite nerdy as a child, and eventually becomes a NASA scientist as an adult.
- Shrinking Violet: Starts out very shy, although Joy helps her grow out of her shell.
Grace MacDonnell
Joy's other best friend.
- Curly Hair Is Ugly: Grace is bullied because the girls at St. Mary’s think this, though Joy insists otherwise.
Bernando "The Salter" Rizzo
A New York mob boss that Joy is sent to kill on her second mission.
- Brooklyn Rage: He was born and raised in Brooklyn, and is a violent mob boss.
- Death by Gluttony: Defied. His bad eating habits finally catch up to him and he suffers a heart attack in the middle of his assassination, and begs Joy to let him die this way as he feels like it's a less embarrassing death than being killed by a teenage girl. However, Joy turns down his plea, and shoots him to death.
- Villainous Glutton: As mentioned by Fear, he often gorges on pizza and submarine sandwiches, which resulted in his morbid obesity.
Admiral Reginald Softbottom
A Royal Navy Admiral whom Joy develops an animosity towards.
- Corrupt Corporate Executive: He is a CEO of a construction and logging company, and often abuses his power as an admiral to aid the growth of his company.
Lieutenant Jacob Lamb
A friend of Joy and Zero in the SAS, who is also the commander of their troop. He is also meant to be the friend mentioned by Zero in the Truth Tapes, whose SAS pin was kept by Joy years after his death.
- Reasonable Authority Figure: He was the leader of the SAS team that Joy and Zero were assigned to, and although he did have his moments of abrasiveness, he did genuinely care about his teammates.
- Meaningful Name: His name is a reference to the phrase "sacrificial lamb", given that he was meant to be Joy and Zero's fallen friend.
