  • The opening sequence shows Tara arming herself with a knife to go help her friend, Amber, when she thinks she’s going to be attacked by Ghostface. Only for her to open the door to Ghostface standing in the doorway, who slashes at her chest.
    • Tara's immediate response is to punch her attacker square in the face.
    • The fact that for the first time in the series, the first person attacked survives the whole movie!
    • The fact that Tara is not only the first person to get attacked during the spree, but is ultimately the one to end it.
  • Wes desperately tries to fight back against Ghostface, but is unable to get his taser and pepper spray or hold back the knife at his neck. Despite that, he manages to say “fuck you” to Ghostface before the bastard shoves the knife in his throat.
  • In the hospital, Ghostface attempts to finish Tara off for good, all while taunting and trying to force Sam into a Sadistic Choice where she chooses either Tara or Richie to die. Sam uses this against Ghostface to stall for time, and allows for Dewey to arrive and shoot him.
    • Seeing Ghostface activate the voice changer while hunting Tara and dual-wield knives are small, cool moments, as well.
    • Despite having the opportunity to escape with the others, Dewey chooses to stay behind at the hospital to finish off the killer via headshot. It ultimately fails, but it was a noble effort.
    • It's fair to point out that Dewey saved the person (Tara) who would eventually kill his murderer, meaning that his death wasn't in vain.
  • Sidney and Gale see Amber coming out of the house pretending to be in distress, and they quickly figure it's a trap. Gale gets shot, but it doesn't slow her down, and they both see to it that they will end this for Dewey.
  • Sidney hanging up on Ghostface while hunting him in Stu’s house.
    • Even more so with the fact that while she's on the phone, every time she comes to a door where the killer could be, she fires a round into it with the chance she might get them. She's certainly has been Taught by Experience from the past four films she's survived in.
  • Richie’s bragging about tricking Sam into thinking her sister was Ghostface is quickly interrupted by Amber telling him that she can’t find Tara.
Sam: I untied her. I guess you’re not as persuasive as you thought.
  • Having been cornered by Sidney and Gale, Amber begs for her life and “apologizes” for Dewey. Gale just shoots her and sets her on fire after a well-earned “Fuck you.” Even better, the gun she uses to do this belonged to Dewey.
  • Sidney and Gale fighting Amber and taking her down. Sidney smashes a jar of hand sanitizer on Amber's head before they shoot her and cause her to catch fire atop the stove. This moment notably elicited wild audience reactions.
Amber: (trying to attack Gale) Time to pass the torch!
    Gale: It’s all yours, bitch!
  • Sam taking down Richie in an absolutely brutal fashion by stabbing him furiously before this:
Richie: Wait! (whimpering) What about my ending?
Sam: Here it comes. (she slashes his throat, then swipes the blood off the knife, Ghostface-style)
    • Her Pre Ass Kicking One Liner deserves a mention, as well.
Sam: I’m introducing a new rule.
Richie: And what would that be, huh? Well?! (laughs)
Sam: Never fuck with the daughter of a serial killer. (stabs him through his mouth)
    • What makes this moment so awesomely cathartic is that unlike the rather quick deaths given to other killers, Sam gives Richie a torturous, drawn-out stabbing similar to ones the previous Ghostface killers have given before (Casey, Maureen, Jennifer, Olivia, etc). Not so much fun when you’re the one being stabbed, eh?
    • And topping it off is the psychotic hallucination of Billy Loomis in the mirror, guiding his daughter to the knife that she uses to save her, her sister, and her new friends. Finally, after all the trauma and suffering Billy has brought about, he does something good, and his daughter channels her own fears and issues into something positive.
  • Even though Tara is injured and carrying crutches, she still manages to get the drop on Amber. And later, when Amber tries to pull off “one last scare,” Tara calmly shoots her through the head and quips with a Call-Back.
Tara: I still prefer The Babadook.
  • James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca of Dead Meat fame appear in a cameo hosting a discussion on the Stab movies.
