Elias likes to say that WWE actually stands for "Walk With Elias", and more than once he's given that claim credibility.
- November 27, 2017: Roman Reigns issues an open challenge for the Intercontinental Title... and Elias is the first person to accept. Despite losing, he put up a good fight against Reigns and gave the crowd the best match of the night.
- February 5, 2018: Defeating John Cena and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat match to become the last man to enter the Elimination Chamber in the namesake Pay-Per-View. Let us reiterate, he beat Cena and Strowman on live TV. The way he won was awesome too; After Strowman hits Cena with a Running Powerslam, he tries to hit Elias with one too, only for Elias to suddenly reverse it, throw Strowman through the ropes and quickly pin Cena, stealing the victory from Strowman with just two quick maneuvers. Sure, he and Cena both got pulverized by Strowman afterwards for it, but it doesn't detract from the moment at all.
- October 1, 2018: Elias and Kevin Owens segment when Elias mocks Seattle with a Basketball joke. He got the entire crowd to hate his, and by association Kevin's, guts so much that they booed long and loud. What makes this so awesome is the fact that it was rare for WWE to reach these types of reactions, and Elias got it on the same level as The Rock's Sacramento song.
- October 22, 2018: After months of getting cheered by the fans despite being a heel, Elias finally makes a Heel–Face Turn by smashing his guitar over Baron Corbin's back. He follows it up next week by pinning Jinder Mahal clean in record time.
- 2019 Royal Rumble: Elias is the #1 entry in the rumble, and once again gets interupted before he can even start by Jeff Jarrett. After having a seemingly friendly talk and about to do a duet, Elias sucker punches Jeff and proceeds to beat the living hell out of the former founder of TNA. Why? Because Elias hates being compared to Jeff Jarrett due to their similar musician gimmicks. He promptly eliminates Jeff before #3 came out.
