Betty it is! Feebil makes a promise to himself right then and there! He is going to get out from under the steel-toed boots of the Landgraab family and going to move in with the Roomies. No more fooling around!
To show his seriousness he immediately calls up a party, (after he gets up and sleepwalks through work)! "But you don't understand! Parties are Serious Business in Sim City! If you don't throw one with the right amount of raging-ness than you are considered a lower class citizen! Believe you me, you don't wanna be a lower class in Simitania" I think every sim would agree with that quote above so I'll go along with this idea. After all, we do have to get out of here.
So our dear Mr. Gastro throws a party. However, it doesn't seem the Sims are that susceptible to his charms that much. Despite the food, the loud music, and the fun times they still don't seem to consider this party good enough! God it seems these Sims actually want to be Slums Mcgee!
Dudley goes off to work and Feebil tries to work on his charms. Feebil gets in the hot tub but is met with a cop right as he gets out! Another noise complaint. Huh...you'd think that after so many calls to them the police would try to at least deter me from doing it further. I guess Feebil must have friends in high places. Maybe Zara is the kind of agent that could give Revolver Ocelot a run for his money eh?
Since he turned out to be Feebil at that as well he goes to sleep for the night. Hoping to not hear the cruel taunts of Dudley and Carlos in his dreams.
B-Movie Stardom turns out to be harder work than he thought. As soon as he gets up he finds the need to curse his hours and his multiple bosses. Doing his usual anger-jig he goes and says his usual lines. Attack of the killer robots from the planet Hades ain't gonna star itself after all!
His perseverance pays off surprisingly as nobody even considers taking him off the project after today! He does a "Good" job. Meanwhile we viewers learn a little more disturbing things about Dudley. It seems that he is only interested in doing things if it involves something good for him, as he absolutely refuses to answer the phone. But when it comes to his fish he will feed them no matter what! He is also so lazy that he won't even go the bathroom, (as we learn when he leaks Sim Coolant(C.) all over the dining room floor!
Now learning that Dudley the douche bag can't hope to function if he actually has too do hard work or really much of anything, Feebil comes home with a sense of renewed optimism. He throws another party, but no such luck. It seems the Sims don't like that Feebil was barely awake for this one, plus it was fairly late, (he ate dinner and did a few things beforehand) that they had this party. The sims leave with barely any interaction with Betty beside a casual greeting.
About the only thing of note in the party is the pizza guy who came at 2:00AM obviously exhausted and angry. Despite this he still endlessly repeating the same bragging line about making it too here from central Sim City in under an hour. Maybe the Russians have already taken over! From than on our dear Feebil cuts off ties with the Zara despite telephone warnings about losing friendships. Maybe now it is better to be safe. He doesn't even consider for a second that "one town under Malcolm Landgraab" may just be a terrible place to live.
What follows is another day of Sim Life. Going to work on Attack of Space Gorilla the Mars Menace, (Part III) getting terrible reviews and saying his lines. After the day is over he resolves to finally move out from under Dudley's tyranny!
So now he gets prepared. Today he will miss work and prepare getting the best possible situation to be in. He gets all his moods up really high, sleeps in, cooks a seven course lasagna meal and orders pizza for his guests! Tonight is the night he moves out! He turns the music Up To Eleven and invited the people in. They all have a big meal and a good time! He even, (attempts to) play the guitar too not so rave reviews!
After a quick game of Strip Poker with the Betty girl he asks if she would be willing to have a roomate. But...but..it seems the Sims have very specific amounts of ragingness they want there party to have. A quick dip in the hot tub later and the cops are at the front door! At that exact moment Betty gets out of the tub feeling hungry. With no other options left and with only the faintest hope he asks if Betty will take him as his roommate...
SHE ACCEPTS!
At that exact moment a phone call comes in from Mr. Landgraab who is impressed with how we handled ourselves. Specifically he wants to repay Feebil for bringing up the property value of the place. He deposits 1200 Simoleons in the bank and congratulates us as we take off to our next house!
As we reach our next destination Ms. Roomies tells us that she is really looking forward to all the parties were gonna have in our new pad! Only...it seems she is in the same horrible situation as everyone. That's right, she has Mr Landgrabb for a landlord. I'm beginning to think this place isn't run by Will Wright but by Malcolm.
Anyway now we have to do stuff! We need to upgrade the house, get promoted, (Betty tells us nobody will take us seriously if were not up to a great career yet. Everyone apparently cares so much about how much you make or what you do. What a great place to live. have a fun party and score with a party guest! Scoring means you have a Shotgun Wedding even if you don't impregnate them, The Sims society apparently running on the same rules as the Ancient World.
So what should Feebil do first? Should he try to upgrade the humble abode? Get in touch with family or friends including repairing the relationship with our Commie friend? Act on the crush Betty still apparently has for us, (this will make it more complicated later after he scores with some party girl) just relax for a bit, or try to get further in his career?
Feebil ain't going to be able to decide for himself and needs your help!
Sorry guys. I know I said I was going to post a follow up sometime next week, but between Real Life, Roleplaying on the side, school Stuff, and just plain having trouble with this part of the game I didn't manage to get it out quickly. Hopefully it will not happen again.
