Is this really a true example? I mean for one it has to be a sustained conflict leading out to six months, it has to be a particularly vicious conflict that may spark flame wars and there has to be large factions. In this case I never hear a lot of people talking about this, in fact I don't hear anyone really talk about this, likely because this is an incredibly small part of the show that's easily ignorable. I mean Oliver is a supporting character who only sometimes show up. The only qualification this week to past is that it's divisive, but not every minor change difference of opinion make a Broken Base.

* BrokenBase:
** The ShipTease of Oliver/Zee is this. Some genuinely ship it. Others, at best, find it fine but are still waiting patiently for their more infamous partners (John Constantine and Dinah Lance) to appear. Others, at worst, hate it, find the [[DudeNotFunny Belligerent Sexual Tension awful and/or mean(especially at Zee's expense)]] and are begging Creator/LaurenFaust to put Constantine and Black Canary in.
** The changing back to villains of characters like: Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Star Sapphire. Some people love that they changed them back. Others (preferably newer fans of the DC Universe) were perfectly fine with them being heroes and/or anti-heroes (their current iterations being just those doesn't help). This is the worst for Star Sapphire considering her more drastic and base-breaking changes in contrast (some people actually prefer her more webseries heroic counterpart for this reason). The only one who hasn't seemed to suffer this is Catwoman (granted she's the only one that's held the anti-heroine title longer than Harley and Ivy).

Seasonal Rot is when a season of a show is marked inferior in hindsight, which obviously can't apply to this show since the season isn't even done.

* SeasonalRot: Season 2 to an extent. The animation is more stiff and many major players left the show, including Lauren Faust.

This show's version of Robin wouldn't apply for The Scrappy since they have to be hated for unintentional reasons and Robin is a intentional Hate Sink. And the second one has less to do with the actual show and more a belief that there was a Take That towards Teen Titans Go.

* TakeThatScrappy: "#[=GothamCon=]" has Robin constantly hunted by Harley Quinn for humiliating Barbara, but in the end Harley manages to get Barbara an autographed photo of Robin. How does she do this? By cornering him in a dark alley and threatening his life.
** The show's depiction of the (Tween) Titans is clearly a jab at ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitansGo''.

Some Anvils Need To Be Dropped got cut, going to see if these examples fit An Aesop.

* SomeAnvilsNeedToBeDropped:
** "#[=ShockItToMe=]" has a dropped anvil involving humiliating videos. While it may seem funny to watch one, living through one is ''not''. It is hurtful, even if you think it's funny.
** [=#Frenemies=] gives an aesop not often seen on. When Babs' best friend from Gotham, Harley, transfers to Metropolis, she's excited but her friends are put off by her glaringly obvious faults and when they voice their annoyances of Harley to Babs (via the latter using the Lasso of Truth), she's hurt. In most shows, it would resolve with Babs' friends coming to the conclusion that they misjudged Harley and start being friends. In ''this'' case, Babs learns (with some help from Barry) that she can like both her Metropolis friends and Harley just separately.

Adding some Shocking Moments.

Added DiffLines:

* ShockingMoments:
** "[[Recap/DCSuperHeroGirls2019S2E8HappyBirthdayZee #HappyBirthdayZee]]": The episode dealing with Zee's mother abandoning her on her birthday when she was a child. It does not shy away from showing how much of an effect it had on Zee, being what caused her to get such high standards towards all of her birthdays. The show is light-hearted, so to see it dealing with a subject like this was not expected.
** "[[Recap/DCSuperHeroGirls2019S2E17WarriorAndTheJester #WarriorAndTheJester]]": When Wonder Woman finds out that Harleen Quinzel is the supervillain Harley Quinn but is forced to keep silent due to owing her a big favour. The show normally thrives on StatusQuoIsGod, so having a discovery that shakes things up this dramatically was not something that many fans expected.

Though stopped, she gets away and comes up with an idea to form a team to take the girls down: forming her team acting as the OnlySaneWoman to the group, leading them in a crime spree before being stopped by the girls. Although the Super Hero Girls blackmail her into helping them steal the Book of Infinity from Lex Luthor, it turns out to have all been a trap, with Catwoman working with Luthor the entire time. However, once Catwoman learns of Luthor's plan to have a meteor hit the Earth so he can rule over whatever is left, [[EvenEvilHasStandards she turns on him]]. After freeing the girls and tearing a page out from the book so Lex can't see it coming, she steals all of his stuff as one last slap to him.

** In general, many fans feel this way about the male superheroes since as stated under {{Anvilicious}} many suffer AdaptationalJerkass or AdaptationalWimp compared to their female counterparts and in addition to that many are InNameOnly adaptations that follow no previous characterizations the characters have ever had, a good example being Dick Grayson who in the show is a one-dimensional {{Jerkass}} who has really no resemblance to any version of the character, and is more of an amalgam of Jason Todd and Damian Wayne's negative traits.

** The fact Kara doesn't know what Kryptonite is until this episode makes no sense and is given no explanation either, the fact it was on display at a museum and Catwoman both knew what it was and its effects on Kryptonians show that Kryptonite is public knowledge and being on of the few substances on Earth that can hurt her there's honestly no reason Kara shouldn't know what it is.
