The show serves as a ContinuityReboot of the series, with Sabrina (Ashley Tisdale) now being a witch princess destined to rule the magical world. Despite this, Sabrina continues to live a dual life of living in the human world and attending regular school during the day and traveling to the magical realm to hone her sorceress skills at night. All the while, she must also do battle with enemies who threaten to do harm to her family and expose her secret. Other changes made include everyone believing that Sabrina's pet cat Salem is a normal feline, with Salem also being a (reluctant) spy for a now evil Enchantra who is meant to make Sabrina's life miserable.

''Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch'' is a CGI series based on the ''ComicBook/SabrinaTheTeenageWitch'' franchise that aired on Creator/TheHub (Now ''Discovery Family''). It's the third animated series based on the character (fourth if you count ''Sabrina's Secret Life'' which was more of an continuation of ''WesternAnimation/SabrinaTheAnimatedSeries'') and the fifth show in the series overall.

The show is technically a ContinuityReboot of the series, re-telling Sabrina's origins of her coming into her powers and finding out the magical nature of the family, living a dual life of going to her human school by day and magical school by night. Though she also must do battle to enemies who would do harm to her family and threaten to expose her secret. Adding to Sabrina's problems is the fact that she is shown to be a witch princess; destined to rule all of the magical world one day as queen.

Only lasted one season with 26 episode due to the network change over and ''Discovery'' having no interest in continuing it.

** Shinji's role is [[CompositeCharacter combined]] with Lillith, Enchantra's SpoiledBrat daughter, from the comics.
** This not the first time Sabrina has been offered the throne of the magical world. This happened toward the end of manga style comics, and she rejected the offer then.

-->'''Amy:''' How cute you dressed up for the movie too. What are you a witch?
-->'''Sabrina:''' Sure why not.
* SecretChaser: Tiffany Titan
* SecretKeeper: Jessie
* SupernaturalIsPurple: Most obvious on Sabrina herself: she uses purple magic, dresses in purple and black as a witch, wears a purple vest as part of her non-magical outfit, and her name is written in purple on the logo. Can be seen elsewhere in the magic world as well.
* SuspiciouslySpecificDenial: Sabrina
* ThoseTwoGirls
* TimeStandsStill: In "No Time", Sabrina accidentally causes time to freeze in the human world.
* {{Tomboy}}: Veralupa
* [[UngratefulBastard Ungrateful Witch]]: In "Spella!", Enchantra refuses to thank Sabrina for the help in defeating Spella. Nor taking her offer to help her up when she clumsily tripped while denying being a klutz like Sabrina, a pouty Enchantra just tells Sabrina to leave her alone.

** This is also the first incarnation of the series to include Ambrose since the Filmation cartoon. Unusually, he is portrayed as a blonde teenager, though he is still Sabrina's cousin. His appearance makes him look more like [[CompositeCharacter Ambrose Pipps from the Little Archie series]].
** One of the background characters is a goth girl, who could be Gwenevive Ricci (Sabrina's goth friend and wannabe witch from the manga).
** Della (eh...Spella) and Enchantra turn out to be sisters.
* {{Nerd}}: Harvey Kinkle in his version.
* NiceGuy: Jim
* NotSoDifferent: Spella revealed that Enchantra was a lot like Sabrina, as much as Enchantra would deny.
* OurWerewolvesAreDifferent: Apparently wearing a magical werewolf jacket passes on the curse with no known cure.
** A later episode reveals that there is a cure, which Enchantra is keeping under wraps.
* ProperlyParanoid: Tiffany Titan
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: Enchantra dresses almost entirely in red and black, and Shinji wears them as well.
* RelatedInTheAdaptation: Enchantra and Della (now Spella).
* ResetButtonEnding: Seen in "Return of the Werewolf", when Sabrina and Veralupa rewind time several minutes so that her friends don't learn her secrets.
** In "Careful What You Witch For", where Sabrina wish she never found the lamp.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Again Sabrina in this series.
* SarcasticConfession: One is done in the very first episode:
-->''Sabrina walks in to the dance in her witch's costume''
-->'''Amy:''' How cute you dressed up for the movie too. What are you a witch?
-->'''Sabrina:''' Sure why not.
* SecretChaser: Tiffany Titan
* SecretKeeper: Jessie
* SupernaturalIsPurple: Most obvious on Sabrina herself: she uses purple magic, dresses in purple and black as a witch, wears a purple vest as part of her non-magical outfit, and her name is written in purple on the logo. Can be seen elsewhere in the magic world as well.
* SuspiciouslySpecificDenial: Sabrina
* ThoseTwoGirls
* TimeStandsStill: In "No Time", Sabrina accidentally causes time to freeze in the human world.
* {{Tomboy}}: Veralupa
* WakeUpGoToSchoolSaveTheWorld: Played with in that Sabrina attends both a WizardingSchool and a mundane high school. In keeping with the spirit of the trope, she seems to handle the magic school better.
* WellDoneSonGuy: Shinji
* WhyCouldntYouBeDifferent: How Enchantra feels about her son Shinji.

!!Tropes:

* AdaptationalVillainy: Enchantra and to a lesser extent Shinji.
* {{Adorkable}}: Ambrose and Harvey
* AllCGICartoon: with the possible exception of the opening, [[ArtShift where the characters appear as hand-drawn looking paper cutouts]].
* BadBoss: Enchantra towards Salem whenever he refuse her orders or fails in his mission.
* BigBad: Enchantra
* BlackBestFriend: Jessie
* CanonForeigner: Jim, Jessie (though she's pretty much [[WesternAnimation/SabrinaTheAnimatedSeries Chloe]] in all but name), Veralupa, and Tiffany Titan.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: It is revealed in one episode that the teachers laugh at Tiffany Titan while in the faculty room, which she can hear through the closed door.
* CreatorProvincialism: Sabrina once complains that the only break she gets from her studies is human school being closed on Saturday. American schools are normally closed on both Saturday and Sunday. One-day weekends were once a reality in French schools (and the show is French-made), although unusually enough, Sunday is usually the day off (and most modern French schools have switched to 4-day weeks).
* TheDogBitesBack: Or rather the cat, in "Spella!" Salem gets back at Enchantra while she's at Sabrina's place. Fortunately, Enchantra did not notice it was Salem.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Despite being a bloodthirsty monster, Were-Harvey obeys traffic signals and crosses the street only in designated areas.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: Enchantra doesn't understanding Sabrina's friendship with mortals or her fascination with the mortal world.
* {{Expy}}: Jessie for [[WesternAnimation/SabrinaTheAnimatedSeries Chloe]]. Aside from being the BlackBestFriend and TheAce, she continues the tradition of being the one mortal who knows Sabrina's secret.
** Jim could be considered a stand-in for the usual (non-geeky) depiction of Harvey.
** Enchantra for Della from the earlier Archie comics. Funnily enough, they are revealed to be sisters (although Della is [[AdaptationNameChange renamed Spella]] so they both can have a PunnyName).
* TheFairFolk: All magic users act like this in varying degrees, even [[TheHero Sabrina]]. Not in an evil sort of way, more in a BlueAndOrangeMorality sort of way. Notice Sabrina and her aunts' cool attitudes in "No Time" when [[spoiler: faced with the possibility that the human world would be wiped out of existence]].
* FantasticSlur: Enchantra and Shinji call the mortals "nitches."
* HiddenDepths: Jim really likes Sabrina and wants to go out with her, but she's always busy with her magic school studies. In "Careful What You Witch For", Jim wished himself to be big so Sabrina would notice him.
** Salem appears to be jealous of her crush on Jim, Sabrina always ignores him whenever Jim is around. In "See No Sabrina, Hear No Sabrina!", he tried to use an invisible spell on him, but accidentally hits Sabrina.
* IKnewIt: In-universe with Tiffany Titan when everyone learned of Sabrina's magic ability, only to be "proven" wrong.
** In another episode, Tiffany found Sabrina's moped ([[ItMakesSenseInContext which Shinji was accidentally merged with]]). She heard him talking. She knew there was something odd about Sabrina and tries to show the school faculty.
* {{Jerkass}}: Mr. Evans, the land developer from "Home Sweet Home", deserves special mention here. He barges into the bakery, ''after'' inking an agreement with the landlord to buy it, and cheerfully announces that he is about to bulldoze their shop and turn it into a parking lot for the new mall he's building. There's not a hint of remorse or humanity in his declaration, nor does he have any interest whatsoever in the fact that he is about to leave a family out of business and homeless. In fact, he seems to be ''thrilled'' to be putting people he's never even met out on the streets.
* LikeGoesWithLike: Enchantra tries to get her son Shinji and Sabrina together, and neither like each other. Though Enchantra only cares about gaining Sabrina's magic.
* LovableAlphaBitch: Amy. She actually seems to be friends with Sabrina.
* MagicalGirl: This version seems to be leaning toward this.
* {{Meganekko}}: Zelda
* TheMole: In this version, Salem works for Enchantra, who wants him to secretly make Sabrina's life in the human world so horrible that she'll voluntarily return to the witch realm permanently. He doesn't enjoy it, however.
* MommasBoy: Shinji.
* MythologyGag: The show is full of them.
** Amy is a character from the comics, but has been redesigned to resemble Libby from the live-action show. Despite both being the token AlphaBitch, she actually seems to be friendly.
** Hilda and Zelda being the FatAndSkinny is a reference to the comics, but having them both be blonde is a reference to the live-action show.
*** It's also subverted as the the roles of FatAndSkinny have been flipped from what they were in the comics.
*** They both look like hippies, which Zelda appears to dress like one in ''Sabrina: The Animated Series''.
