* A loud rumble was heard at the Main Gates that signaled the arrival of a new deity. Pinkie Pie and the rest of the welcoming committee set up the party in preparation and waited for the Gates to open. The Gates were thrown open as a deluge of wine flooded the entire entry area and the greeters were swept away. Very bad drunken singing was then heard as a very large man riding a makeshift boat made from a wine cask sailed in, holding a familiar purple wine jug and a large turkey leg. Zeus could only facepalm and shake his head. Bacchus had arrived.
* Kratos often wondered where the God of Wine was as he never saw his alternate persona at Olympus when he stormed it. Bacchus merely replied he was on a tour of Southeast Asia and China, to figure out what sorts of alcohols they'd devised there. Being prone to WalkingTheEarth in his quest to understand the “Mysteries of the Vine”, spread this understanding to others and sample the results obviously saved him from being affected by the evils of Pandora’s Box when it was opened. Still, Bacchus sees the Ghost of Sparta as a good adversary, much to the warrior’s disgust at his behavior.
* Just because he drinks his immortal life away doesn't mean he's a pushover: a capable fighter normally, one chug of his special combat wine [[BoozeBasedBuff powers him up depending on how drunk he is]]. His attacks not just get stronger, but his... [[{{Gasshole}} OTHER abilities]] get powered up as well. Beware.
* He is a very welcome deity at the House of Love as one sip of the wide assortment of wines and liquors he brings is able to disinhibit even the most steadfast of heart and soul. Many a [[TheCasanova Casanova]] and/or LovableSexManiac wait in anxious anticipation for Bacchus to appear with his delightful alcohols to start the party. Unfortunately, even when thoroughly drunk, nobody wants to bed down with Zapp Brannigan.
** Even when his parties aren't the romantic variety, they are still wild and crazy. After all, there's a very good reason they call them "Bacchanals"!
* Bacchus may specialize in wine, but he's an eager connosseur of other alcoholic drinks. He was, for instance, able to guzzle down a full five Pan-Galactic Gargle Blasters and still craved more. Moe told him he already took too many, [[IllTellYouWhenIveHadEnough while Bacchus stated he was just getting warmed up]]. For his monumental performance and ability to hold his liquor, he ended up on Moe's Wall of Fame.
** He gets along spectacularly with many other alcoholic gods, which all benefit from his studies of the Mysteries of the Vine, as they sometimes are able to relieve their stress. Quite a successful ritual, if there ever was one.
* As a deity like him is wont to do, Bacchus occasionally ends up in a drinking match or five with several others who share his fondness of a stiff drink. However, the one god he considers an equal is Dr. Fei-Hung, as he once visited the DrunkenMaster in an earthly guise and found he could keep up with him in the drinking category. Bacchus places his friendship with the Tenth Tiger as with his master, Solinus.
* Even though he is a friendly sort, he has nothing but spite for certain classic gods, particularly Hera (since being another of Zeus’s illegitimate children, she made his mother vow Zeus into seeing him in all his godly splendor causing her to disintegrate), Ares (as Bacchus thinks wars could be easily solved by a good bit of research into the Mysteries of the Vine and a nice drink or two) and both Hades (the main one is a major wet blanket as the dead are unable to get drunk and the version known to Pit is an unrepentant jerkass).
** He's also got nothing good to say about Umbridge and Trunchbull, as he considers them the ultimate party poopers with strict discipline towards students (his favorite followers).
*** In addition, Bacchus frowns upon Peter Griffin, who he considers a dark representation of his good drinking buddy and rival, Homer Simpson.
* The King of Rock and Roll was slightly bemused when Bacchus actually dressed up as him. Then again, Elvis has many many impersonators so one more couldn’t hurt.
** On the same subject, Freya had to take a super-dose of Forget-Me-Shots from Moe after seeing Bacchus in the outfit of a Valkyrie.
* ''"I need a drink!"''

* Neku was once an ordinary asocial Shibuya teenager. And then he got roped into the Reaper's Game [[spoiler:by its Composer, who chose him as his Proxy]], where one needs a partner to survive. In this game, he's been required to connect with people, hone his new-found powers, and maybe even get to the bottom of the mystery beneath the Game.
* When he first woke up in the Pantheon, in a fit of confusion he clutched his head and screamed, "WHAT THE HELL?!", before the situation was explained to him.
* Thanks to Joshua pulling some strings in the Court, despite not having ascended proper as a Pantheon deity at the time, Neku and his friends had ascended to the Pantheon after the whole Reaper's Game business... and one other event. At first, he inherited the trope TheEmpath given his Player Pin's power.
** However, given that the only thing special about giving him that was the fact that he's the last person to want it at the time, there's been talk of giving him HeadphonesEqualIsolation now that its previous holder, [[Pantheon/{{Thieves}} Futaba Sakura]], has left it vacant with her House transfer.
** Double however, given that he's [[spoiler:become more open to others and symbolized that by discarding his headphones at the end of the (main) game]], yet another trope was found for him; ThePinIsMightierThanTheSword, given that he uses pins to perform Psyches. It's true that that goes for all Players in a Reaper's Game, but Neku has TheGift to use '''''all of them''''' rather than just one or two.
** In the end, it was decided that he take both.
* A perk of his ascension is that even if the Pantheon is a Realground of sorts, he's able to use his Pins' Psyches like it was the UG. This includes the Player Pin's ability to read surface thoughts. Given what the Pantheon has, he's definitely not complaining.
* Even though [[spoiler:he was seen discarding]] his headphones after [[spoiler:his third Reaper's Game, he still keeps them around even now]]. They're a pretty snazzy pair and quite expensive.
* The reason why Neku used to be so introverted? [[spoiler:He had a best friend who died in a car accident, and he felt that if he hadn't asked him to meet up by the wall at Udagawa, he wouldn’t have been caught up in that accident and would still be alive today. It caused Neku to develop massive amounts of SurvivorsGuilt and blame himself for what happened, causing him to shut himself off from the rest of the world.]]
** He's still guarded even now, but not as closed off as he was before.
* Hates being painted as a stereotypical EmoTeen.
** Some people ask him if he needs to resist his "emo urges". Neku has no response to that.
* For some reason, he had never noticed that Shiki had disappeared from the Pantheon until Joshua invited him to a search party to seek her whereabouts, after which he was alarmed and immediately "signed up". The mission was a success.
** Given how much Shiki meant for Neku, as well as the fact that Joshua took the time to set that search without Neku asking him first, some people are asking the two Shibuya teens [[ShipperOnDeck if they're already a couple]], much to their embarrassment.
* [[{{Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life}} Used to have nothing to aspire to]] before getting roped into the Reaper's Game. As such, and because of his {{character development}}, that's why he still considers Joshua a friend, even though he doesn't forgive him for his actions [[spoiler:namely killing him, and making him his Proxy in favor of ''destroying'' Shibuya. It's only thanks to Neku's changes that Joshua changed his mind and spared the city]]. %% [[green:(Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life: Has shades of this in the game, as he himself notes that compared to Shiki, who has her own aspirations to be a talented fashion designer, he himself has nothing to aspire to and when Joshua asks him at one point if he even has anything for him in the Realground, Neku is oddly silent and even sulks) possible friendship with the CMC]]
* [[EveryoneHasStandards Even before his]] {{character development}}, [[WillNotTellALie he does not like lying]].
* While he usually a calm person, rile him up or bring up Tin Pin Slammer and he's surprisingly HotBlooded.
* [[RealMenWearPink Might have some interest in]] ''certain'' specific feminine clothing, if the exclusive bonuses two items (the Lace Bonnet lolita headdress, and the Dragon Lady {{qipao}}) grant Neku ''only'' is anything to go by.
* Was one day greeted by Sora, who was glad to see him... for reasons Neku couldn't recall. The Keyblade wielder was a bit distraught that Neku doesn't "remember" him, but decided to ask later when Heartless surrounded the two. After making quick work on them, Joshua arrived to clarify things.
** As it was, for a while, the world Neku and company came from fell to the Heartless and [[VideoGame/KingdomHearts3DDreamDropDistance Joshua saved what he could of them by bringing the remnants of their dreams to Traverse Town when it appeared before him]] and used Rhyme's dream to open the portal into it. Basically, the Players Sora and Riku met were just memory versions; they never met the real deals like they are now.
** Still, Sora decided he would be friends with Neku and his friends all over again. After seeing what he was capable of, as well as his attitude, Neku was okay with this.
* Since he's not a trainer, nor has any Pokémon partners, [[spoiler:Neku gave his Key Stone to Sora so that [[Pantheon/FriendsAndCompanions Gardevoir]] can Mega Evolve whenever it needs to]].
* Is going to be roped in again into ''another'' Reaper's Game after the events of "Another Day", this time [[spoiler:with '''''Sho Minamimoto''''' as his partner]]. Thankfully for him, [[spoiler:he won't be missing from the Pantheon]] [[VideoGame/KingdomHeartsIII like Sora]]. He promises he'll try and watch out for him, though, [[spoiler:given implications that Sora might've ended up in Shibuya's UG in a Reaper's Game just like him]]. However, [[VideoGame/KingdomHeartsMelodyOfMemory recent events reveal]] [[spoiler:he might not be in Shibuya at all, but some other world entirely called Wuadratum]].

Badass Mustache and Badass Beard are being merged into Manly Facial Hair. Examples that don't fit or are zero-context are removed. To qualify for Manly Facial Hair, the facial hair must be associated with masculinity in some way. Please read the trope description before readding to make sure the example qualifies.

* ''"I need a drink!"''

* Born into the Akimichi Clan, Choji is slated to become the Sixteenth Head of the clan. As a child, he was often berated by his peers for not being good at a child's game called "''Ninja''" and, one day, they simply refused to let him play at all. However, Shikamaru Nara stuck up for him and, although Choji was still not allowed to play, he and Shikamaru became best friends. After graduating from the Academy, Choji was assigned to Team 10 and became teammates with Shikamaru and a girl named Ino Yamanaka. Together, the three became the sixteenth generation of the Ino-Shika-Cho Trio. Following the end of the Fourth Great Ninja War, Choji married Karui, a kunoichi from Kumogakure, and the two had a daughter, Chocho.
* Choji originally ascended into the pantheon as a follower of Globox. Eventually, Choji was allowed to ascend as a god after Shikamaru once again put in a good word for him. The two had a heartfelt reunion and celebrated Choji's ascension by getting some snacks and spending the rest of the day watching clouds as they ate the snacks.
* Choji is occasionaly seen being dragged away from the House of Food by his wife Karui. Choji is also training to usurp Hinata's title of Legendary Glutton Queen. Naruto knows Choji's probably not going to succeed, but wished him the best of luck all the same.
* Choji is good friends with Obelix, who he met while spending time as followers of Globox, and who shares Choji's dislike of [[IAmBigBoned being called fat]]. The two are often seen together in the House of Food, trying out each other's respective favorite meals and exchanging training advice and recipes.
* Once challenged Monkey D. Luffy to a fight and lost, as the rubber pirate can also expand and stretch his body. Of course, things looked up for Choji when Luffy told him his secret of winning: "MEAT! Lots and lots of Meat!". Choji made a new friend that day...big surprise there where [[MagneticHero Luffy]] is concerned...and it helps that Chocho likes Luffy as well.
* Choji is also friends with famed sumo-wrestler Edmond 'Edo' Honda, respecting his strength and determination. Edmond was surprised and immensely dissapointed to discover that sumo wrestlers in Choji's world went around attacking shinobi and samurai and one group even attempted to overtake Konohagakure during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Regardless, the two get along very well and are often seen hanging out, with Honda citing he intends to give Choji a positive example of sumo-wrestlers to remember, and perhaps learn from. Choji has also developed a fondness of Honda's chanko stew.
* Choji has developed a friendly rivalry with other heavyweight (yet athletic) fighters such as Bob Richards, Rufus and Po. He was especially quite impressed to hear about Bob's diet regimen, which helps him maintain his figure. Choji tried it out for awhile, but ultimately stopped as it prevented him from eating his favorite food as well as the fact that, due to how [[CastFromCalories his clan's special techniques work]], he didn't really need a diet.
* Due to his fear of lizards, Choji generally avoids the House of Reptiles as much as possible. The only deities from that House that he gets along with are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, whom he initially believed to be summons from his world, and who introduced him to the wonders of pizza.
* He's noticed that [[Creator/KentaroIto his Japanese voice]] sounds like those of Thomas Richard Shubaltz and X. The three of them get along quite well and occasionally team up against threats.
* He opposes all of the evil deities in the House of Food, as he strongly dislikes the fact that they make large eaters such as himself look bad.
* Choji's relationship with Sima Shi tends to vary depending on circumstance. The two intially got along well and talked about their favorite food. However, their pleasant conversation turned into an all-out battle when they noticed that there was only one meatbun left and they both strongly insisted on being the one to eat it. After the fight was broken up, the two have agreed to eat seperately from then on, but are otherwise still on friendly terms.

* Following the arrival and subsequent sealing of Phazon, reports started to come in that Samus, though with different armor coloration that seemed organic, had repeatedly been trying to gain entry to the impact crater where the Leviathan rested. It quickly became apparent that it wasn’t the bounty hunter when she tore right through the barrier and began to gorge upon any Phazon in sight, only stopping when it was driven away by Samus herself. She confirmed that the being was Dark Samus, one of her greatest foes and the one responsible for the Phazon Incident.
* Even if they may resemble one another, Dark Samus is NOTHING like her heroic counterpart. Cold, merciless, manipulative, and driven by the single desire of consuming Phazon, the Dark Hunter will tear through anything that stands between her and her ambitions, using and throwing away allies if it means more Phazon for herself. She continually breaches the seal around the Leviathan just to consume the sustenance present there, but more serious schemes involve trying to outright destroy the barrier in order to spread Phazon across the Pantheon.

Granted, she isn’t one for actually speaking that much and the vocalizations she DOES make [[LaughingMad aren’t exactly that of a sane person]], especially when she’s low on Phazon. However, once she’s acquired enough to become more mentally stable, Dark Samus becomes very powerful, capable of taking over minds, formulating complex strategies, and is generally more cunning.
* '''DO NOT''' get between her and any bit of Phazon that she's focused on, especially when she's hungry. Unless someone is absolutely capable of successfully fighting off the Black Demon, it's advised to just allow her to eat her fill until she moves on. She's content to let any trespassers go as long as they don't bother her, but the moment they prove to be a threat or put themselves between her and lunch, [[BerserkButton things go downhill FAST]].
* While he sees Phazon as an effective tool of conquest, Ridley is not as enthusiastic about the presence of the Dark Hunter. He hasn’t forgotten her attacks on the Space Pirate forces, culminating in their subjugation and him being pumped with enough Phazon to become a Leviathan Guardian. [[EnemyMine The ONLY reason they even work together is their shared hatred of Samus]].
** Despite not being around at the time, Mother Brain shares the sentiment with the dragon. The Space Pirates are HERS to command and she will not tolerate the Dark Hunter's usurpation, but if it means Samus' demise, then so be it.
** Though she and the SA-X don't see eye to eye, primarily over the issue of Dark Samus' Metroid-based origins, the two are content to leave the other alone for now.
* Dark Samus is actually the current form of Metroid Prime, The Worm of Chozo lore. Once a simple Metroid on Tallon IV, the Leviathan that impacted the planet chose to make this particular specimen its Guardian. It didn’t work out well for the core in the end, [[HoistByHisOwnPetard as it severely underestimated the near-infinite appetite of the creature]]. It wasn’t until decades later that Samus finally put an end to the Worm, but not before the core essence of the creature absorbed her Phazon Suit, reborn as Dark Samus.
* While not quite as unkillable as Ridley, [[ImplacableMan Dark Samus is still very much a pain to get rid of]]. Even being in ''[[ApocalypseHow an imploding alternate universe]]'' didn't keep her down long. She's capable of [[FromASingleCell completely regenerating from a single Phazon cell]], and it was only with the original destruction of Phaaze, where all Phazon in the universe was destroyed with its origin, that Dark Samus finally fell for good.
* Normal weaponry is capable of injuring her, but not to the level of permanent damage since she'll just regenerate any wounds. Because of Dark Samus' unstable physiology, [[PhlebotinumOverload only Phazon is capable of causing serious harm]]. This has put many heroes in the uncomfortable position of having to possibly resort to using the very substance they are opposed against in order to combat her.
* [[VideoGame/SuperSmashBros Within a certain gathering of warriors]], Dark Samus is able to be summoned, dispatching opponents with [[LightningBruiser quick and powerful Phazon-based attacks]].
** She eventually decided to join [[VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosUltimate the fifth Smash tournament]] in order to antagonize Samus once more. The irony of being labeled as an [[PunnyName "Echo" Fighter]] has not been lost on her.
* Because of her ravenous nature, Dark Samus was briefly considered to be a part of the House of Food, but since that would have required [[ToxicPhlebotinum Phazon]] to have been present within the house for consumption, this was quickly thrown out.
* When she heard that [[WebAnimation/OneMinuteMelee Samus had ambushed Mega Man and engaged him in a fight]], Dark Samus was curious, wondering if she had contracted Phazon Madness, leading to her change in behavior. [[spoiler: She was sorely disappointed when it turned out to be the [[Pantheon/{{Disguises}} SA-X]] instead, with the real Samus jumping in to save the robot. At the very least, she respects the X-Parasite's efforts and, despite her remaining Metroid instincts demanding that she destroy it, leaves it to its own devices. It doesn't bother her, she won't reduce it to a fine paste]].
** [[spoiler: Still, the fact that Mega Man could hold his own against the SA-X caught her attention. After all, Phazon can corrupt and turn machines as well]]...
* Recently, Dark Samus has shown a disturbing interest in [[Pantheon/PlanetaryAndCelestial Mogo]], observing the living planet from a distance. [[spoiler: If [[EldritchAbomination Phaaze]] is to be manifested within the Pantheon, it would be only fitting for Mogo to act as the new heart of Phazon]].
* With the ascension of [[VideoGame/SuperMetroid Samus' infant Metroid]], Dark Samus has made several attempts to reach out to it in hopes of gaining its allegiance and turning it against its mother-figure. It usually ends with the Dark Hunter being plowed through several walls by the very large Metroid, but even then, she sincerely hopes that she can gain the Hatchling as an ally, as she does not wish to harm a fellow Metroid. Of course, ''forcibly'' giving it the gift of Phazon is not out of the equation...

* The year is 2772 and a meteorite has hit the city-planet of Acmetropolis. This results in the planet going off its original axis and giving some of its citizens special powers instead of destroying everything outright. Some of these citizens affected by the meteor have formed a team known as the Loonatics (consisting of wise-cracking sword-wielding leader Ace Bunny, teleporting fame-hungry Danger Duck, acrobatic fighter Lexi Bunny, muscle-bound spinner Slam Tasmanian, gadgeteer Tech E. Coyote, and fast-talking speedster Rev Runner) and it is their job to protect Acmetropolis from the villains that threaten the planet. They also happen to be futuristic descendants of Bugs Bunny and some of his ensemble and the team themselves have encountered some characters that can be considered futuristic counterparts of the rest of the wabbit’s friends and foes in addition to a multitude of distinct adversaries.
* Having become protectors of their universe, the number of places that the Loonatics can go to has increased drastically. The team picked up a distress call from a planet, but once they arrived, they discovered an unusual-looking black hole that was pulling the planet in and the Loonatics ended up getting sucked in as well. After the team regained consciousness, Ace noticed that their surroundings didn’t resemble Acmetropolis and as the team investigated further, the galactic system they were in was different from what they were used to. They were told that this dimension they ended up in was a “Pantheon” and that an experimental cross-dimensional transmitter ended up leading the team there. The planet that the Loonatics was looking for reportedly survived and after taking care of matters related to it, the team was given the means to easily access the vast world of the Pantheon and their headquarters in Planet Blanc was adjusted to take advantage of the team’s expanded adventures.
* Prior to the meteor striking Acmetropolis, the team had their own professions, with Ace being a stunt rabbit for movies, Duck being a pool boy, Lexi attempting to be a cheerleader, Slam being a pro wrestler in staged fights, Tech being an inventor at college, and Rev being a delivery boy. Given how the wider Pantheon setting operates and the fact that there are many kinds of heroes equipped for taking on different villains, the Loonatics theoretically have a bit more of a reprieve from fighting crime than they did back then. Despite this, they aren’t really able to go back to their former jobs even if given a chance to do so, though they aren’t too bothered by it. There have been instances in the Pantheon of them fighting supervillains that are threatening someone who works within one of the teammate’s former fields before gaining powers, though the Loonatic’s priority is stopping the supervillain first and foremost instead of dwelling in the past.
* In case it wasn’t obvious enough, the Loonatics and some of the denizens from Acmetropolis are futuristic descendants of Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes. Given the Tunes’ self-aware nature (and the fact that among other things, Bugs and Daffy have parodied superheroes at times and played basketball with Michael Jordan against aliens), they have taken potshots at the Loonatics, but not that often (though the Warner Siblings, Dot mainly, have joined in on such a thing). Daffy being the glory-hound that he is, once attempted to try and force whatever positive attention Danger Duck had onto himself, something that Danger Duck wasn’t amused with and such a comical rivalry over positive attention hasn’t subsided between the two. The fact that some of the Loonatics’ enemies were futuristic descendants of normally friendly Tunes such as Porky Pig bewildered the pig upon learning of it. Barring Danger Duck’s animosity towards Daffy, the Loonatics have generally tried not to interact much with their predecessors even if the comparisons, if not resemblance, couldn’t be avoided.
* Be it in a massive city or across multiple planets, there were a handful of other heroes for the Loonatics to take notice of and they’ve managed to strike up an alliance with some of them. The SWAT Kats, a duo of pilot fighters who use gadgets made out of materials from their junkyard to protect Megakat City from all sorts of threats, learned of the Loonatics and how they protected Acmetropolis before becoming defenders of the galaxy and while the duo found the hextet odd in a few ways, they’re otherwise quite effective in using their skillset to fight villains and Tech is impressed with how the Kats are able to make gadgets to fight crime with. On an interplanetary scale, Star Fox is a team of mercenaries who have fought against Andross’ ambitions of galactic domination, as well as other prominent dangers such as the Aparoids. Star Fox has taken their battles by air and by land much like the Loonatics and the SWAT Kats, with the quartet’s ships and weapons maintained by Slippy Toad who has relayed a fair amount of useful information for the Loonatics regarding some of the enemies they fight in the Pantheon. Tech has also provided some of his gadgets to Star Fox, with Slippy making some adjustments to ensure that these gizmos are consistently successful when the quartet uses them.
* The Loonatics weren’t the only groups of characters to get their powers from a meteor. A trio consisting of Andrew Detmer, Matt Garetty, and Steve Montgomery came across a meteor, gained powers from it, and learned how to master them. While Matt and Steve used their powers for good after having fun with them, Andrew’s personal problems piled up before he snapped and decided to take his anger out on the world, forcing Matt to fight and eventually kill him. While the Loonatics had apparently adjusted to having their powers for quite some time, they never had that much time to confront their personal issues (if they had any) thanks to the multitude of other problems the meteor caused Acmetropolis. It didn’t prevent Matt and Steve from being impressed with the fact that there was a group of superheroes who gained powers from a meteor that was dedicated to protecting innocents from different villains. The Loonatics understand why Andrew became who he is after hearing the trio’s story, though considering the number of malevolent entities out to corrupt Andrew even further, the most the hextet can do is try and fight off those enemies (even if they’re much stronger than what the team is used to) to prevent Andrew from being a bigger problem for everyone else.
* One other meteor that the Loonatics learned about was the Temsik Meteor, which grants people unusual powers pertaining to manipulating objects should they die near it or be killed by it. Sissel, Missile, and Yomiel ended up affected by it and they ended up in a complicated adventure that involved a few other people tied to them in some capacity. Since the Loonatics ended up getting involved with time travel while fighting one of their villains, what Sissel and the others went through was a lot to take in, but they otherwise are understanding towards the ensemble. If the Loonatics are having more trouble than normal finding something and Lexi’s hearing isn’t enough, either Sissel or Missile are willing to step in and help the team get closer to finding their target.
* Besides the team themselves, the meteor affected other Acmetropolis denizens and some of them became villains that the Loonatics had to fight against. The Pantheon had its share of villains empowered by a meteorite in some way and they were enemies that the Loonatics would end up fighting against at some point such as Gorilla Grodd and Vandal Savage. While a lot of supervillains the team has fought against were mostly straightforward powered criminals, Grodd and Vandal had plenty of intellect to pull off devious plans that would be more of a challenge for the Loonatics to counter. These fights would extend towards those who plan to drop a massive meteor on the planet for their own ends akin to what Optimatus attempted in the past. Sephiroth was someone who attempted to make a meteor fall onto his world in order to attain godlike power and even if someone like him will prove to be a greater challenge than many of their past foes, the Loonatics are still willing to prevent a deadly meteor from hitting the main Pantheon planet if it means preventing a villain from becoming more powerful.
* If it weren’t for Zadavia’s efforts, then the meteor that struck Acmetropolis would have destroyed the planet instead of causing massive changes to it. Even with that, there were different meteors that were sources of concern for the Loonatics partially due to the fact that if something similar to those specific meteors struck Acmetropolis instead, then the planet would be in bigger trouble despite Zadavia’s intervention. The Colour Out of Space was a meteor that corrupts its surroundings while The Sleeper is a comet with devastating powers and a similar corruptive influence that houses an eldritch creature inside. From what the team heard about both entities, it became clear that those were far more powerful than even their most dangerous adversaries in the Pantheon and going near them would be a great risk to their livelihood. The fact that some malicious entities are interested in either deadly meteor in some form worried the Loonatics further and all the team could do was keep their distance from The Sleeper and The Colour Out of Space.
* Seeing as how they’re a team consisting of a leader who can shoot lasers from his eyes, a close female friend who can use psychic energy, an animal-like member with great strength, a speedster, a member that can teleport, and someone with magnetic powers, the Loonatics ended up getting the interest of Charles Xavier, who remarked on the similar powers they have to people Professor X was familiar with. The team would learn of Xavier’s many ordeals including fighting against a former friend who wanted mutant superiority over others and other enemies who harbored anti-mutant sentiments. The Loonatics already have a good grasp of their own powers, but Professor X has told them that his time in the Pantheon led him to discover other enemies who have gained power through different circumstances (some of which included strange meteors) that have the potential to be much more challenging than the team’s previous straightforward enemies. The Loonatics have occasionally checked in with Xavier in regards to refining their power, though Ace has concerns about Scott Summer’s gradually unscrupulous attitude and Lexi has been helping Jean-Grey better handle her psychic powers without causing massive problems for others. Deadpool heard about the Loonatic’s visits with Professor X and snarked that they were closer to “X-Tunes” than actual Loonatics.
* In addition to sharing wisecracks like Bugs Bunny, Ace Bunny can fire lasers from his eyes and his preferred weapon to use in direct combat is the Guardian Strike Sword, which is able to harness additional powers when the need arises. This ended up making him a target among a few individuals who wanted to take the sword for themselves or simply just fight him to see if the Guardian Strike Sword really is that powerful. Some of the people that have attempted to fight Ace with all of the Guardian Strike Sword’s capabilities unlocked have some darker agenda in mind while others such as [[Pantheon/BossDesign Gilgamesh the Frenzied Swordsman]] wanted the sword mainly to add it to their collection of already unorthodox swords that are potentially stronger than what Ace has at hand. Even with all the potential enemies and rivals that are after his weapon, Ace made it clear that he’s not going down without a fight.
* Despite officially being known as Danger Duck, many simply refer to him as Duck despite the multitude of other ducks present in the Pantheon much to his consternation. Even as a hero, Duck is in it for the glory, but hearing about denizens in the Pantheon who are willing to stage heroics for their own benefit or heroes who became villains out of pettiness unnerved him somewhat. Syndrome was someone who became a villain after being rejected by his former inspiration Bob Parr and resorted to designing the Omnidroid as a means to use it to cause havoc while he himself stops it while Hal Stewart was someone Megamind tried to make a superhero via giving him powers, only to unsuccessfully try and use it to impress someone he loves and resorted to destruction after getting rejected. For as much of a glory-hog that Duck is, he wouldn’t stoop to their level when it comes to wanting notoriety and the Loonatics saw those two supervillains as much of a threat as many of their past adversaries from Acmetropolis. Syndrome, upon learning of the Loonatics, facetiously claimed that “even the Loonies have become super” in addition to finding them to be nuisances in general.
* Lexi Bunny is able to harness psychic energy as a means to attack in addition to close-combat (with some surmising that her psychic attacks are harnessed through pent-up anger). She also has very strong hearing, allowing her to pick up on faraway threats that would throw off the rest of the team and it’s that ability that’s led them to encounter another team who had a female fighter with a similar ability. After fighting off a superpowered criminal, Lexi heard something from afar and realized that there was a separate villain out there fighting another group of people. By the time the Loonatics arrived, the villain was already taken care of by a group known as the 00-Cyborgs, with 003 having super hearing like Lexi. As it turned out, the mechanical menaces being unleashed were traced to an unidentified factory somewhere in the Pantheon, prompting both teams to head to that factory and prevent more chaos from being unleashed. From what the Loonatics learned of the 00-Cyborgs, 001 had psychic powers (but being a baby meant that he can’t be active all the time) and all the members had their own issues in addition to fighting against plenty of villains that wanted to plunge the world into a perpetual war. After both teams put an end to the villains behind the robot factory and its related attacks, the Loonatics could understand why the 00-Cyborgs have consistently relied on each other throughout many hardships and the cyborgs noticed how the Loonatics stuck together as a team and were able to adjust to their superpowered life despite the obstacles that come with it, with both teams maintaining an amicable relationship with each other.
* Slam Tasmanian’s preferred combat move is very much like how Taz approaches things: spin around wildly. Slam has thunder-based powers to go along with his spinning, but the Loonatics’ time in the Pantheon led them to meet a team of heroes whose combat style revolved around a mix of elemental powers and spinning, much to Slam’s eagerness. That team was the Masters of Spinjitzu, a group of ninjas who have fought against many villains (some more than once), dealt with personal issues, and were able to unlock more inherent power within each other via mastering their own techniques. The Loonatics were impressed by the hextet of ninjas (though Duck resented them a bit during the initial meeting) and their friendship was cemented after fending off a malevolent ninja with demonic powers that required the Masters of Spinjitzu’s skills and the Loonatic’s futuristic abilities to defeat. Following that event, Slam has opted to get more creative with his spinning moves with the support of both the Ninja and the rest of the Loonatics.
* Much like his predecessor Wile E. Coyote, Tech E. Coyote designs a variety of gizmos to use, but has a comparatively better, if still not stellar, success rate when it comes to usage than Tech’s predecessor. That said, much of Tech’s failed designs seem to be the result of others not knowing how to use them rather than inherent malfunctions. Regardless, in a field as broad as designing technologically advanced items, Tech has managed to find plenty of notable allies and enemies that the rest of the Loonatics became aware of. Tails was one inventor who Tech took a liking to thanks to a combination of both coming up with creative gizmos (which Tech has taken notes of so that subsequent inventions he make end up being less of a failure), being able to be a skilled pilot much like the SWAT Kats, and putting up a good fight against other villainous inventors like Dr. Eggman. Eggman was someone who has designed robots and has, more than once, came up with schemes that resulted in him angering a stronger entity that threatens the world. Eggman dismissed the Loonatics as more animals that are getting in the way of his ambitions, but it didn’t stop the team from thwarting his plans whenever Sonic isn’t involved in stopping his arch-enemy.
* Unlike the Road Runner that Wile E. Coyote has persistently pursued, Rev Runner is able to talk and can fly in addition to going very fast. There was no shortage of super speedsters for Rev and the rest of the Loonatics to take notice of, with many of those speedsters such as Sonic the Hedgehog having fought against Dr. Eggman and a multitude of world-ending threats on a regular basis. Sonic having a similar wise-cracking attitude like Ace and his tendency to step into action whenever some odd event is going on has led the team to befriend him and work with the hedgehog and his friends (including the previously mentioned Tails) on a regular basis. Barry Allen was another speedy superhero that the Loonatics got along with and seeing how successful Barry was in spite of the personal baggage that he had to deal with often, Rev reveres Barry quite a bit. Through Barry, the Loonatics (Rev in particular) learned of other speedsters Barry has confronted, with Eobard Thawne being the worst of the bunch due to the measures he’s taken to personally ruin Barry’s life. Rev was disturbed to learn that there were speedsters like Eobard (who merely saw the Loonatics as “mutated pests”), but was still willing to support Barry and his heroism whenever he could.

Let's just say that Marcie [[{{Understatement}} retaliated against]] Kusaka's racist-based actions [[CurbStompBattle in a very big way]] when they first crossed paths.
* Marcie is a very unique vampire as while most regular vampires drink blood for nourishment, she only needs to drink anything that has the color red. This kind of ability allows her to form a friendship with Rachel Alucard, who shares common ground in regards to their vampire status.
** Unfortunately for Marcie, this causes any deities who have either red or pink colored hair to tread carefully at her presence as they don't want to see what happens when she craves anything of said colors, much to Marceline's dismay.
* Apparently, Some of the evil members of The House of Ghost believed that they can easily defeat Marceline due to [[Recap/AdventureTimeS2E24HeatSignature the whole Rock-Paper-Scissors-Based Weakness between Vampires, Ghosts, and an unknown race]]. Unfortunately for them, this kind of weakness only happens in her own home universe, so Marcie has nothing to worry about with these kind of ghosts in this Pantheon. ** It's also in her time regarding the House of Ghost that she made friends with Casper, Gengar, Youmu Konpaku, Yuyuko Saigyouji, Sayo Aisaka; As they are way more nicer than the 3 ghost friends that she had during that time she and her buddies watched the "Heat Signature" movie.
* She has made friends and allies with some of the more friendly vampires in the Pantheon. Aside from Rachel Alucard, There's Adrian Fahrenheight Tepes, who is also a friendly vampire with DaddyIssues; Arcueid Brunestud, another friendly, non-blood sucking vampire of royal descent; Gasper Vladi, who she sympathizes over having a terrible childhood; Remilia and Flandre Scarlet, for both being powerful, having similar shapeshifting powers, Being immature at their long age, and being awesome; Tsukune Aono and Moka Akashiya, for having a better chance in having a strong interracial bond just like her and Finn; Valvatorez, for having the same level of companionship with his friends just as much as hers, along with dealing with both the [[WarIsHell the negative effects of war]] [[spoiler:and beating ''very'' powerful beings despite being weakened]]; Sorin Markov since he can use magic just like her; and Evangeline/[[spoiler:Yukihime]] over [[spoiler:how to deal with the downside of being immortal]]. It's because of their new friendship that they team up together to take down some of the more evil vampires in the pantheon.
* While it's no secret that Marceline dislikes abusive love interests and abusive family members, the one abusive person that she DESPISES the most is Ragyo Kiryuin. Not only does she treat her [[spoiler: daughters]] like [[spoiler: either experimental lab-rats or sex toys]], which brings shame and disgust to all of the good mothers like her late mother; '''but she also did all of this [[Creator/RomiPark while sharing Finn's voice whenever she speak in Japanese]]'''. This results in her become friends and allies with Ragyo's daughters and their allies in dealing with [[FanNickname Rainbow McFeelYouUp]] herself.
** She also made enemies with Raul Menendez over how he cause ''everyone'' pain and misery over [[DisproportionateRetribution a CIA agent accidently killed his sister]] and how he messes with Finn, Bonnie, and Steven just for the fun of it; Yuuki Temuri over trolling pretty much everybody he cross paths with brutal results ForTheEvulz; Gul'dan over how he can control even the nicer demons, like herself, to cause as much trouble as possible; Raynare for scarring Issei in his romance life and killing Asia to get her Sacred Gear all while enjoying the aforementioned actions, Sekai Saionji, whose responses to Makoto either scorning her or having a different love interest by killing either Makoto or the romantic competitor, [[EveryoneHasStandards which even she reacts to disgust]] over these kinds of responses; and Embryo over how he causally treats destroying and recreating worlds like a game, along with treating "strong and independent" women like sex toys for him to enjoy, portraying humans who can't use magic as monsters and being willing to [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil rape Ange]] just to make her his wife. For the last part, let's just say that Embryo realizes that Marcie can use him as indestructible punching bag to keep her combat skills sharp due to how he can [[TheManyDeathsOfYou resurrect himself many times with no limits whatsoever]].
* She can be seen in the House of Music practicing her guitar skills with some of the House's nicer members. It was during her practice session in this house that she cross paths with both [[Anime/{{FLCL}} Haruko Haruhara]] and Elite Tauren Chieftain, who later became friends and rivals over how they use [[InstrumentalWeapon Guitars as weapons]].
** She also got into a Friendly Rivalry with Buffy Summers as they both know what it's like to deal with supernatural beings on a daily basis and how Buffy is aware of Marcie's childhood [[spoiler:and the circumstances that led to her becoming a vampire]]. This make Marceline one of the very few vampires that Buffy ''won't'' slay (as Marcie herself was [[spoiler:never a natural-born vampire to begin with.]])
* Marceline has also got along with Ichigo Kurosaki, Naruto Uzumaki, Bayonetta, Ange, Lelouch vi Britannia and Ragna the Bloodedge over some things that they all have in common.
** Ichigo: They both sympathize with each over losing their mothers as kids, [[spoiler:gaining powers from the very beings they fought against, and being {{Uneven Hybrid}}s]]. Not to mention how they both fell annoyed at how their fans keep [[LauncherOfAThousandShips pairing them with nearly everybody from either their respective home series or some Crossovers.]]
** Naruto: She too knows what it's like to have a terrible childhood and get rejected by nearly everybody they encounter due to having [[SealedInsideAPersonShapedCan Sinister Powers sealed inside them]] ([[{{Kitsune}} Kurama]] for Naruto, [[spoiler:and the 5 powerful vampires for Marcie]]). This results in her to swear that she won't suck the red color out of Kushina's hair, and Naruto's family and friends will help her out in her sad moments.
** Bayonetta: They both gotten close over how they [[MissingMom lost their mothers]] and [[ParentalAbandonment having some major problems with their fathers]] [[spoiler: until they can finally repair their damaged bond with said fathers after resolving some issues with them]]. Not to mention that they have a strong fanbase due to them being dark and sexy at the same time.
** Ange: Other then Embryo, she is completely unhappy at how Julio [[SelfMadeOrphan got both of their parents killed]] and Ange betrayed by all of her friends back at her now-former home just so he could claim the throne and empire all to himself, which reminded her of [[Recap/AdventureTimeS7E2Varmints how the King of Ooo usurped Bonnie of her status as the ruler of the Candy Kingdom just so that he could relax without having to do some serious hard work]]. Needless to say, they both felt happy over how these two power-hungry jerks [[LaserGuidedKarma get their just-desserts in a painful fashion]].
** Lelouch vi Britannia: They symapthize over each other's paternal abandonment and loss of mother and being left to fend for themselves in the middle of a battlefield. Marceline was shocked to hear that Lelouch's mom was not only still hiding in somebody else's body, but was in on her husband's AssimilationPlot all along. She also hit it off with Kallen, though the relationship hit a bit of a snag when Marcy, in one of her hunger-driven frenzies, went straight for the hair of Lelouch's ace pilot.
** Ragna: She too knows what it's like to gain some new powerful abilities from vampires and dealing with both unstable family problems and someone who [[OmnicidalManiac really wants to kill all forms of life]]. It's because of this that, despite both Jin and Tsubaki now on the good side, she ''still'' felt disgust over Jin having issues with both [[CainAndAbel Ragna]] and [[HateAtFirstSight Noel]] and how Tsubaki has barely know Ragna on a more personal scale to learn his reasons for all of this mess.
* She apparently feels pity to both Madoka Kaname '''''AND''''' Homura Akemi over how they failed to maintain their friendship due to Kyubey's manipulations and that they both remind her of both herself (for Homura) and Bonnibel Bubblegum (for Madoka). She and Bonnie hoped that they can restore their friendship back to the way it was, while giving the Incubators a [[LaserGuidedKarma a well-deserved payback]].
** Marcie also feels pity to Lucy after experiencing some much pain and trouble by humans [[AllOfTheOtherReinDeer over her horns and vectors]], and Makoto Itou over how he can't be able to control himself in handling his romance life; both of which all happens thanks to [[ArchnemesisDad their evil fathers]] not caring to them like any other normal dads did (At least ''her'' dad still care for her, as he did want Marcie to take over the family business, whereas Tomaru wants to rape every woman he has ever been interested in just to screw with him).
* As expected, Marceline tends to hang around with other Cartoon Network Deities. While she has an A-OK relationship with most of the CN Deities (Dexter, Dee-Dee, The Jelly Bean Scouts, Courage, The KND Sector V, The Residents of Fosters, and Coop) and a more terrible relationship with some of them (Billy and Mandy, Father, Grandma Stuffum, The Perfect Trumpet Thingy, Chris Mclean, and Eustace Bagge); each of her more major interactions happened as follows:
** She apparently hit it off very well with the Eds as they are amazed at how awesome Marcie is when she uses her powers in many different ways and even willing to either help them out in their scams, or provide them with some Jawbreakers. Marcie is especially close to Eddy over how [[spoiler:their early childhood is nothing but pain and sorrows thanks to their adult family members badly mistreating them [Eddy's Brother abusing Eddy ForTheEvulz and Hunson Abadeer [[ParentalNeglect neglecting Marcie]] while she was growing up after the events of the Mushroom War].]] She also gives Sarah the benefit of doubt over her treatment on Ed, as well as threatening Rolf that if he tries to attack her while she is playing with wolves, then she will uses ''[[TheresNoKillLikeOverkill live sharks]]'' to whack him and his fish weapon down.
** Buttercup is excited that how Marcie can be both scary and awesome at the same time. Marcie also found her, along with Blossom and Bubbles, to be very adorable and thus decided to join in on band practices, of which Marcie is surprised that how [[FingerlessHands the PPG can play musical instruments without any fingers]]; and dealing with either Mojo-Jojo, or Princess Morbucks (Morbucks reminds her of the King of Ooo).
** Jack sympathizes with her over how she had to learn how to fight and survive at a young age after losing her mother and being helpless in a post-apocalyptic world, much like how Aku has kidnapped his dad and he has to go around the world to learn every fighting technique and survival skills at a young age needed for him to deal with Aku once and for all. This greatly touched Marcie over this and thus formed a strong friendship where they sometimes spar together to be prepared for any threat that's coming for them.
** Ben and his friends are impressed and amazed at many of her feats, not to mention how both Ben and Gwen both understand what it's like to have to deal with their fans pairing them up to nearly everyone they encounter (Ben and Gwen have it the worse since they're both ''[[KissingCousins cousins]]''); along with both Kevin and Charmcaster over how the 3 of them tend to have some random changes in regards to their character alignments.
** Mordecai and Rigby greatly bonded with the Vampire Queen over the fact that they tend to be slackers and almost always got involved in weird adventures. Mordecai and Marceline are also aware that their fans tend to [[CrossoverShipping pair them]] for either some kind of amusement, or as a means to give them a second shot at romance. She also identifies with Skips, as he too knows the complications of immortality [[spoiler:and dealing with problems related to their love lives.]] Benson, however, is someone Marcie just can't easily get along with, despite having some good traits like some excellent drumming skills, due to her believing that he can do more than managing a simple park. Not to mention that Randall greatly angers her over how [[DisproportionateRetribution one loss at a volleyball game]] suddenly caused him to want to destroy all of time itself.
** Gumball and his family also seem to like Marceline as she played with the Watterson kids to keep their destructive habits under control, giving both Richard and Nicole relief. The Wattersons themselves are also unhappy at how Hunson hasn't been there for Marcie and her mom before the events of the Mushroom War as he reminds them of [[spoiler:Franklin, Richard's father]]. Marcie also finds Mr. Small to be too obsessive in his nature-loving and non-meat eating habits.
** Steven Universe and the Crystal Gems also got along with Marceline as she knows first-hand what it's like to hunt down the very beings that she used to be a part of, and how painful it is to lose someone very close in the distant past. The fact that the creator of the Crystal Gems' home series also provided a voice for Marceline's mother and writes all of their jams strengthens this friendship. Marcy has even strongly considered forming a supergroup with the two Universes.
* [[spoiler: The entire Pantheon rejoiced when she and Princess Bubblegum finally kissed during their [[Recap/AdventureTimeS9E13ComeAlongWithMeTheUltimateAdventure ultimate adventure]]. The two are now officially dating again.]]
* Can also be found at the House of Pantheon/FleshEaters.

* Honorary Membership In: the Houses of Beast and Shape
* ''I have all the powers of Africa now. From the fox to the elephant, from the spider to the man—I am the life of Africa—and I believe in life.''
* Oliver Queen had to pull some strings and call in several favors (and the threat of Dinah blowing out his eardrums providing him with enough incentive) to clear Mari [=McCabe=]'s ascension to the Pantheon, but it was worth it. Plus, it kept him from [[ExiledToTheCouch sleeping on the couch. Again.]] Or as Canary puts it:
-->'''Canary:''' [[VideoGame/{{Injustice2}} Sleep. Knocked out. Same thing.]]
* Zambezi in origin, Mari was the daughter of Reverend Richard Jiwe, the village priest and protector of the Tantu Totem, having lost her mother to poachers, led by Aku Kwesi. She would lose her father at the hands of his half-brother, General Maksai, who sought the Tantu Totem. Mari would flee to America to avoid being killed. Years later, Mari - now a wealthy businesswoman and model - returned to Africa, and after stealing back the Tantu Totem from her uncle, Vixen was born.
** It's because of the latter that draws the attention of both Frank West and Krista Sparks, the second Dollface, the former due to scouting her for his '''PERFECT EROTICA''' spread, and the latter who sees her as an obstacle for her ultimate dream. Frank is now working on getting the DC heroines together for a photoshoot.
* You know how Poison Ivy and Swamp Thing are both tuned to the Green? Mari (along with Beast Boy and Animal Man) are tuned to the Red, a force which connects and pervades all animal life and microorganisms in the universe, which Vixen can tap into via the Earth's morphogenetic field, even going as far as to harness the powers of extinct animals, and even mystical ones, like werewolves and dragons.
** The main setback of Vixen's powers is that she becomes more animal and less human the longer she's in the morphogenetic field. That's where Nightwolf comes in, the deified Lakota shaman helping Mari get in tune with the Red.
* Regime Superman and Shao Kahn heard about how Vixen [[NighInvulnerability tanked a punch]] [[Pantheon/MainHouse from the deposed High Councilor's heroic]] (albeit {{brainwashed}} at the time) [[Pantheon/{{Heroes}} counterpart]]. "Would've been a different story had it been me throwing that punch," R. Supes had bluntly stated. Kahn added that he would simply use his Wrath Hammer to drive her body into the ground like a spike in a single blow.
* T'Challa has caught the eye of Vixen. A superhero who is also a king? That got Vixen all hot and bothered. Either that or she was channeling a panther (ironically enough) which inadvertently made Vixen go 'in heat.' While flattered, T'Challa opts to remain single [[ComicBook/AvengersVsXmen following the end of his first marriage to Storm]]. With the internal strife within Wakanda, the Black Panther has his hands full.
* Her exploits have gotten unwanted attention in the form of Onaga. The Dragon King now seeks to not only add Vixen to his army, but to also make her his queen...[[BrainwashedAndCrazy after he revives her, of course]].
* Vixen also worked with the Suicide Squad in the past. When Amanda Waller found out about Vixen's ascension, she offered Mari a place back on the Squad. Vixen politely declined.
* Due to her powers, Vixen has been granted honorary membership in both the Houses of Shape and Beasts. If she's not at her temple or hanging out with Dinah or the Justice League, she's either in one of the houses, making friends with the various deities.
* As one so in tune with the Red, those who poach or harm animals is something of a [[BerserkButton sore spot]] for Vixen, especially the former. Case in point:
** Balrog got on Vixen's bad side when she found out he killed an elephant in [[OneHitKill a single punch]]. Vixen responded by channeling the power of a dung beetle [[MegatonPunch and decked Balrog]]. Instant knockout. Wiz pointed out that the African dung beetle is the strongest insect on the planet, capable of carrying 1141 times their body weight. Convert that to a human, and it's like carrying 80 tons, meaning Balrog got floored by a 80 ton haymaker. Barracuda, having seen this, opts to bide his time before trying to make his move on Mari.
** Christine Yamata, better known as Four Eyes, also finds herself on Vixen's shitlist. While Four Eyes likes to use humans for her experiments, she has no qualms about using animals and plants as well. Quite possibly the only thing that Vixen, Animal Man, Poison Ivy, and Swamp Thing ''all'' agree on is their mutual hatred of the Wolfpack's resident virologist.
** Pokémon Hunter J is by far, the worst of the poachers. Remember that Mari's mom was a victim of poachers back when she was a child. J is wise enough to steer clear of Vixen, otherwise she may end up on the receiving end of the heroine's ire.
* ''How about I kick your ass like a woman?''

* The Sound Four are some of Orochimaru's [[TheDragon top bodyguards]] and some of the finest ninjas hailing from Otogakure. So much was their potential and effectiveness that Orochimaru would eventually grant them Cursed Seals to further amplify their powers. However, this all changed when Kimimaro of the extinct Kaguya clan was bought in, who effortlessly defeated the Sound Four in combat and took leadership from Sakon and Ukon and altering the group into the Sound Five. Kimimaro's presence was due to Orochimaru being desperate to claim a worthy body to inhibit in his grand goal of immortality and world domination. An attack towards Konohagakure was planned out with the intent of assassinating the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi (Orochimaru's former sensei) alongside feigning an alliance with Sunagakure. Despite the goal having been somewhat achieved with Konoha taking a lot of damage and Hiruzen dying, some things didn't turn out in their favor; namely that Kimimaro suddenly contracted a fatal illness, leaving the Sound Four to take matters into their own hands and Hiruzen [[HeroicSacrifice sacrificing himself]] to seal Orochimaru's arms, severely weakening him.
** Their next mission was to meet and convince surviving Uchiha member, Sasuke to defect Konoha and join them and Orochimaru. Sasuke accepted the offer mainly due to insecurities and angst from lacking enough power to take on and kill Itachi to avenge his clan. That said, the group were tracked down and battled against a retrieval team led by Shikamaru Nara. Jirobo and Kidomaru were killed by Chōji Akamichi and Neji Hyuga respectively, whereas while Sakon, Ukon and Tayuya were able to overwhelm and nearly kill Kiba Inuzuka, Akamaru and Shikamaru himself, they were quickly taken down by assistance from Kankuro and Temari. Eventually, Kimimaro himself was dispatched, despite his critical condition due to the Sound Four taking far too long in delivering Sasuke, forcing Orochimaru to find another host body to avoid further incapacitation. Kimimaro died fending off Naruto, Rock Lee and Gaara, but nonetheless [[TheBadGuyWins managed to succeed]] in the task of Sasuke reaching Orochimaru. Though they didn't last long, they managed to make an impact towards the retrieval team and Sasuke, a dark foreshadowing of more overwhelming foes to come...
* During his time in the Pantheon, Orochimaru, having been humbled after several events and losing some of his more malicious traits, decided to leave the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfEvil as he felt that it was time he changed and pursue another approach in life and goals. Finally beginning to see genuine fondness towards others after his parenting towards his sons Log and Mitsuki, Orochimaru felt like he could bring back some old acquaintances. He snickered as he nominated the Sound Five to be bought forth. Initially confused, they immediately bowed to their former master and declared their loyalty. Orochimaru chastised the Sound Four in taking too long, but congratulated them nonetheless and was chummy towards Kimimaro for ensuring what he had done paid off.
** That said, the Sound Four were baffled at what Orochimaru had gone through since their deaths. The fact that the Sannin went on to aid Konoha really caught them by surprise, alongside Kabuto eventually going on to manage an orphanage there. Knowing the fear and terror that he possesses, the Sound Four begrudgingly accepted Orochimaru's ceasefire towards Konoha for the time being. On the other hand, Kimimaro was genuinely pleased to see that Jugo has become well-adjusted over the years with Sasuke treating him as a person. He even grew to respect Boruto, of all people for managing to befriend Jugo, in addition to repelling and saving him from completely becoming a monster.
* Because of the truce that Orochimaru had established with Konoha, the Sound Five's interactions with the ascended members of the Konoha 11 they fought against were... [[{{Understatement}} awkward]]. They felt pretty pissed off about their defeat and deaths (except Kimimaro) and nearly started a fight, but soon realized that they're now far stronger than they are unless they activated their Cursed Seals to their highest level to provide a challenge. Though they don't admit it, Kidomaru and Tayuya do think of Neji (who was unascended) and Shikamaru to be [[WorthyOpponent worthy opponents]] and have thought about fighting each other again.
** Sakon and Ukon were the most annoyed as Kankuro was yet to be properly ascended, thus depriving them of a chance to exact revenge, even though they knew Orochimaru would disapprove of their move. Seeing Kiba and Akamaru again didn't exactly help with their temper either. Jirobo, however, has been rather chill about the whole predicament, though he does seem slightly unnerved by seeing Chōji. He now thinks twice about insulting anyone, especially Shikamaru, given that's what got him killed.
** Kimimaro however, does not oppose Rock Lee and Gaara all that much. And considering much has changed since his death, and that Lee and Gaara have recognized that Orochimaru has ''somewhat'' become a better person, Kimimaro is instead content with the fact that he can serve his former master again. Additionally, he was approached by Naruto, who this time, was not driven by rage and had mellowed out from the rambunctious figure he once was, took to sympathizing the last member of the Kaguya Clan. Kimimaro has accepted the gesture and has began to make peace with Naruto, given how the latter's son, Boruto had also received similar respect from him.
* Outside of Orochimaru, the Sound Five encountered Malekith, who himself was searching for potential new allies whilst learning about the Pantheon and seeing that he has to make alliances with other races if it meant survival, power and better reputations. Impressed by their powers and their natural affinity in rage, Malekith has opted to commission the Sound Five to on occasion to make use of their various talents. Additionally, Malekith's Dark Elves have shown some respect for the Sound Five; the Cult of Khaine are in awe of Sakon and Ukon's abilities whereas the witches are fond of what Tayuya is capable of. Malekith himself favors Kimimaro the most after hearing about how devastating his bone manipulation is.
** Among other villains, they would take working jobs under Lord Recluse and Dr. Cortex seeing they're good acquaintances with Orochimaru. On a more separate note, the Sound Five sometimes work under Esdeath and Turles as well, thinking they're reliable and useful to a certain degree. Oddly enough, Kalibak has a strange friendship with them, especially Kimimaro given how they've dedicated to their superiors. Kimimaro does return the favor and Kalibak slightly reminds him of Jugo, but pities him for working under [[Pantheon/{{Leadership}} Darkseid]], who's [[AbusiveParents treatment]] of Kalibak [[BadBoss and his own servants for the most part]] isn't good.
* Sometimes compete against the Ginyu Force, another five-man team of reknown and skill, given that the Sound Five were once their followers. Both groups hold the other in high regard as rivals. While the Sound Five are admittedly not as powerful, they've decided to try proving themselves to be better by improving their competency, coordination and efficiency in their tasks, and there's even been talks of them developing a cool team pose. Captain Ginyu approves of this goal, and has since accepted the challenge.
** They're also rivals with Captain Cold. While Snart respects the Sound Five for their skills and overall teamwork, he expects them to start developing a sense of honor and develop goals beyond just serving Orochimaru. Kimimaro gets where he is coming from, though he finds it rather difficult to see where he would like to lead his life towards. The Sound Four find his words to be rather difficult to comprehend and have a much harder time thinking about what to do in the Pantheon than Kimimaro.
* Due to their allegiance towards Orochimaru, the Sound Five are vehemently opposed by Mikoto Mikasa, who finds it baffling how the five of them still continue to serve him despite not really acknowledging them all that much after their deaths. They've also gotten into frequent clashes against Sayaka Miki and Kyoko Sakura who do not the Sound Five for being villainous subordinates. The Robin family are in a similar predicament as Sayaka and Kyoko, though Dick Grayson would like to find a way to redeem the group if Orochimaru was able to mellow out. In stark contrast, Jason Todd wants to gun them down on the spot and is not considering redeeming them in any way.
* Have clashed against the Ninja Turtles pretty frequently after the Sound Five were hired by the Shredder to bring them to him. During their repeated skirmishes, the Sound Five have admitted to stating that the Turtles have tested their limits with each encounter and they thank them for granting them a good challenge alongside finding some parallels with one another. That doesn't change the Sound Five from maintaining their enmity towards them though. They've also developed a similar relationship with Night Raid and Akame regarding respected enemies, thanks to the Sound Five's occasional partnership with Esdeath at times.
* Once thought about working under Wyald. But after hearing about [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil his hobbies]] [[StupidEvil and interests]], they decided not to even bother meeting up with him. Tayuya was the most opposed member of the notion, which was [[VillainHasAPoint easily justifiable]]. They also backed away from the Brave Companions and Wild Hunt, with the Sound Five thinking they're too sick to even consider being with, let alone work together. On an unlucky note, they did have to fight against all of them at some point, especially Wyald. Fortunately for the group, Wyald's fixation on wanting Tayuya resulted in him getting easily subdued once they entered Stage Two, with Tayuya throwing him into a horrifying genjutsu, causing Wyald to panic for quite a long time. [[AssholeVictim He more than had it coming]].
** Wyald's humiliation earned the Sound Five a big approval from his mortal killer, Nosferatu Zodd. He's battled against them and usually wins the fight, though the Sound Five [[CurbStompCushion manage a good fight nonetheless]]. They'll sometimes work with one another, though the Sound Five aren't exactly thrilled with Zodd's friendship with Madara, given that Orochimaru himself is opposed to him.
* Despite being known to take some jobs from villains and not getting a good reputation due to working under Orochimaru, the Sound Five do have their own sets of activities and interests.
** Kimimaro would sometimes hang out with Sasuke and they've bonded well together, he's thanked him for taking care of Jugo after his death and wanders the Pantheon, wondering what he wants to do outside of serving Orochimaru. He's a noted visitor in the House of Pantheon/{{Food}} often [[BigEater consuming a lot of food]]. Some have deduced that because his [[BadToTheBone Shikotsumyaku]] is dependent on how much calcium he needs for bone density, it starts to make some sense.
** Tayuya is a visitor of the House of Pantheon/{{Music}} and spends her spare time honing her skills in playing the flute. She's also doing this to improve his genjutsu skills and often takes training time in the House of Pantheon/{{Combat}}. There are a few deities who respect and praise her playing style, though some are a bit hesitant as Tayuya's genjutsu can cause a massive uproar and backlash. She's currently considering if she could make a villainous music band in the Pantheon, though it'll take time.
** Sakon and Ukon often frequent the House of Pantheon/{{Combat}} as they're the members who are [[BloodKnight most interested in fighting]]. Although Orochimaru's current personality has mellowed the two out from killing, he's willing to be brutal in battle when need be. They've been told by the House of Pantheon/{{Family}} to attend separated as they don't want them suddenly scaring the residents with their [[BodyHorror merged appearance]]. Due to obvious reasons, they mostly visit the Pantheon/{{Twins}} Sub-House, though they're not exactly too welcome there due to his brash nature. Perhaps most embarrassing is when Sakon and Ukon have to attend the toilet there (which there is ''only'' one), much to his chagrin.
** Kidomaru is often seen in the Pantheon/{{Arthropods}} Sub-House in the House of Pantheon/{{Beast}}, often interacting and hanging out with any spiders he comes across. He's struck a friendship with Arachne there and the two will often try to provide a breeding ground for spiders, though in Kidomaru's case, its to create and strengthen a spider army if given the chance, though he does consider genuinely taking care of them to earn their approval. He also visits the House of Pantheon/{{Mentalism}} to test out and improve his intellect as he (despite not admitting it) wants Neji to ascend for a rematch.
** Jirobo is often seen in the House of Pantheon/{{Food}}, often trying to find fast food chain restaurants to fill up his belly. Unfortunately for him, Chōji is also a resident there, so he tries to be careful about even being near him. At this point, Chōji doesn't mind Jirobo, though any time they make contact causes Jirobo to have an internal panic of sorts. And he's doing his best to not insult any corpulent individuals in the Pantheon, though he sometimes gives into it.
* The group in general have managed to keep in contact with Sasuke and while they're not comfortable in that he's reunited with Konoha (except Kimimaro), they're in good terms regardless. Sasuke has stated that they are more than willing to aid them should they not attempt to lay a finger of Konoha, which they've conceded on. The fact that the Sound Five have come to working with a heroic figure (ostensibly) was a polarizing sight, but with Naruto and Sasuke's aid, at least everyone's in good hands.
* Although the Sound Five are at least not as villainous as they used to be, they're still kept in check by heroic deities, mainly the upper-ups of the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfGood, just to make sure they don't suddenly slip back to becoming overly malicious again like their superior. The Sound Four feel annoyed by it, although Kimimaro is nonchalant about the fact that he gets check-ups. Their Cursed Seals are also monitored by Orochimaru himself as overexertion can drain them for quite a long time.
* The group are surprisingly very well-coordinated and adaptable in regards to teamwork, but they would constantly bicker and complain about one another. Tayuya is the biggest example of the five, swearing and cursing on all of them, especially Jirobo. She does however exclude Kimimaro in her insults as she is fully aware of what he is capable of. Even then, they do look after one another a lot, especially Sakon and Ukon and would often prioritize one another a lot during missions, not willing to abandon one member. This also makes sense given how they can create powerful barriers together, either to protect themselves, to enclose events or to gain a significant advantage.

* Because of the AIs he's been hoarding, he's become a target for one [[Pantheon/MotivationsForEvil Arktivus Brevon]]. Church, Epsilon, Grif, and Tex aren't sure whether or not they should hope the Meta could take care of himself or if they should "help" him not get exploited.
* [[WebAnimation/DeathBattle It's been confirmed that he stands no chance fighting Agent Carolina.]] He was not happy about it at all, particularly how Epsilon distracted him in a very crucial moment with the now immortal line:
-->'''Epsilon:''' OOH, Son of a bitch!
** Needless to say, he was angry seeing Carolina ascend - specially as the Meta thought she died after he threw her from a cliff.
* Is the only ''Red vs. Blue'' deity who doesn't like Master Chief - a hatred shared by John-117, as the Meta made pretty clear that he wants to add Cortana to his collection of AI (specially as [[spoiler:she has achieved the metastability Sigma longs to achieve]]).
* Also has a seat in the House of [[Pantheon/DigitalPersonas Technology]].

* Opposes: The House of Pantheon/IceAndCold
* Opposed by: The House of Pantheon/{{Justice}}
* Being literally powered by drugs, Snowflame gains immense strength and the ability to shoot white flames after inhaling cocaine. He's in possession out of an entire hill made out of pure cocaine as well as an entire farm of coke in his domain, and whenever there is a party at the Pantheon, many party-goers will flock to Snowflame for his newest shipment.
** Claims [[AGodIAmNot he is no god]], but the instrument of the true god's will; ''cocaine!''
* He was meant to prove that DrugsAreBad, being a cocaine powered supervillain. However this backfired [[MisaimedFandom as he's seen as a crazy and badass supervillain]]. CIA man Stan Smith finds this outrageous and has put him on America's Most Wanted list. Snowflame thinks he's being hypocritical because of the time he got addicted to cocaine, but [[MyGreatestFailure Stan says that's the very reason he's passionate about stopping him]]. Of course, the actual lesson he got from his stint with cocaine addiction was really "[[AnAesop it's OK to accept other people's help]]".
* Rick is a regular visitor of Snowflame's parties. Sure, Rick is amoral and not evil, but he's quite the addict and loves getting blitzed with him. Learning some more about Rick got Snowflame worried about the Galactic Federation and their drug-based government; he thinks they will replace his cocaine with their drugs. Snowflame was inspired by them, however, and wants to be a cocaine drug dealer across the galaxy! Jabba the Hutt took interest of him and is helping make his dreams come true.
* Snowflame is a regular within the House of Pantheon/{{Crime}}, which he feels is his true home. He is the main dealer of cocaine in the pantheon, however he is not the biggest drug in the pantheon. He'd certainly like to, and one of his main competitors is meth dealer Walter White. The man powered by cocaine makes lengthy arguments on why cocaine is a better drug than meth. The Man Who Knocks ignores him, claiming "how am I supposed to take him seriously?!"
* Snowflame's return to the pantheon proved bothersome for the House of Justice, who thought they'd seen the last of him and his drug cartel. Unlike some drug dealers, Snowflame knows how to fight and if his men can't shoot them down he dares them to fight him man on man. Knowing this, [=RoboCop=] was sent to tackle him and managed to best and apprehend the cocaine-powered supervillain. He took this in surprising stride, jesting "well, at least you pigs know how to fight".
* [=RoboCop=] wasn't the first officer sent up against Snowflame. Clancy Wiggum was sent first, however Snowflame knew he was an idiot so made up a lie and said "oh no, this isn't cocaine. It's sugar. For...[[DonutMessWithACop donuts]]. Yes". He then bribed him with actual donuts to get off his tale. [[WhatAnIdiot Everybody facepalmed at this]]. Wiggum was enraged because his idiocy was pointed out.
** While not liked by the House of Justice, Officers Tenpenny and Pulaski have made underhanded deals to help their house not bother him as much so long as they get a cut of his profits.
* As a proud drug dealer Giorno Giovanna and his allies oppose him out of moral reasons, to which Snowflame protests with "but cocaine is awesome, why not make money out of it!" To his credit his drug cartel hasn't been seen selling drugs to children. Snowflame is still willing to work with Diavolo to deal drugs, with his flamboyancy distracting people from seeing him, [[EvenEvilHasStandards but Snowflame refuses any deal involving children]]. And he doesn't like how Diavolo [[KinslayingIsASpecialKindOfEvil decided to kill his daughter out of paranoia]]. But money's still money.
* Has a tendency to run outside whenever it is snowing, since he mistakes it for cocaine. Of course, this is to be blamed on his addiction. He has found the Ice and Cold sub-house to be immensely disappointing.
* When he got coal from Santa Claus because of his supervillainy, Snowflame came to [[InsaneTrollLogic an addled conclusion]]; how does Santa afford his enterprise? Cocaine dealing! And how does he hide it? The snow in the North Pole! He invaded the North Pole for just that, and soon whimpered back with frostbite and ass-whooping from the two Santas. He's learned his lesson enough to not try and invade [[BadSanta Neptune's North Pole]].
* Those who don't like drug dealers and drugs as a whole oppose Snowflame, and aren't happy that he makes it look stylish. CM Punk, representing the straight edge, is one of his more vocal opponents. Snowflame's response is "I can't hear you, I'm rocking out with my favorite partner in crime; Tony Montana!" and they [[ItsSnowingCocaine coated themselves in their own cocaine]].
* [[WebVideo/AtopTheFourthWall HE IS A MAN! (* punch* )]], and often bums around in Linkara's apartment. A bit annoying, but Linkara thinks [[EvilIsCool he's pretty cool]] and tolerates this to some extent. He ended up having [[WebComic/{{Snowflame}} a webcomic about himself]] where he survived his conflict with the New Guardians. [[ComicBook/{{Catwoman}} At least, that's what everyone thought]]. Turns out he faked his death, and used to be an acquaintance of Selina Kyle before becoming an AntiHero. He's remodeled with a more 80s ''Miami Vice'' costume.
* Being AddictionPowered, one might think that he might want to work with [[Pantheon/LustfulBehavior Slaanesh]]. It might even explain how drugs can empower him. But when seeing the extent of She Who Thirsts?
-->'''Snowflame''': "[[EveryoneHasStandards No...just no]]. I wondered [[EvenEvilHasStandards if there were drugs even I dare not sell]]. Well, now I have my answer.
** On that note, [[EvenEvilHasStandards he absolutely refuses to work with]] [[Pantheon/CriminalActions the 456 Ambassador]]
* As audaciously cool as Snowflame is and the fact [[EvenEvilHasStandards he's demonstrated standards in the pantheon]], he is still a drug dealer and many deities [[DrugsAreBad consider that offensive by default]]. Out of the heroes and anti-heroes of the DC Universe, [[Pantheon/DeathArchetypes Jason Todd]] takes particular offense to his return. Linka hates Snowflame as well, as a cousin of hers died as a result of drugs and she struggled with being an addict.

* Respected by: Much of the House of Pantheon/{{War}} and Pantheon/{{Science}}
* Pities: Those who were created/made as weapons of war like [[Pantheon/GeneticEngineering Mewtwo]]
* Dr. Abraham Erskine is a German Jewish scientist, who initially worked for the [[AllGermansAreNazis Nazis]] before he defected thanks to the aid of American soldier Nick Fury. Dr. Erskine is famously known for his work in "Project Rebirth", where he created the SuperSoldier [[SuperSerum Serum]] that turned the puny, scrawny, and weak Steve Rogers into the BigGood of the MarvelUniverse. Always feeling that he could have done more for the good doctor, Steve set out to find a way to do him right. Concluding that Dr. Erskine's SuperSoldier [[SuperSerum Serum]] was the only one that didn't [[PsychoSerum horribly backfire]], it was decided that he would be given the title of DisposableSuperheroMaker.
* Why did he choose Captain America? Because Dr Erskine believed that a soldier needed a strong moral code and compassion. His serum "makes good great, and bad worse", which combined with the incomplete recipes made after him is why it often ends up as a PsychoSerum. The Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfGood has hired him to help produce more of the stuff, so long as a rigorous moral test is made to ensure it goes swimmingly. Erskine immediately agreed. In turn the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfEvil is trying to take him alive to steal it.
* It is worth noting that one can become a SuperSoldier [[BadassNormal in an all-natural way]] with the proper diet and exercise program, and Erskine is aware of it. Still, doesn't get how [[Pantheon/HeroicArchetypes Saitama]] can show power far beyond the SuperSoldier serum with his work regiment. In an alternate universe where Captain America died from being frozen, the world went to hell until [[Pantheon/{{Family}} Mr Fantastic]] made a serum even better than what he made. He's pleased at the achievement, but wishes that [[Pantheon/ClothingTheme the Punisher]] wasn't his choice...at first. Captain Punisher became a much better person to Erskine's surprise, though he's still not giving it to 616 Frank.
* Has garnered general respect from non-evil deities in the House of Science due to his integrity and value of moral character when it comes to his super-solider serum. Erskine is fond of Senku Ishigami for proving [[ScienceIsGood the benevolent side of science]]. He sympathizes with Alphys because of how her experiments backfired horribly despite having the best of intentions, and Dr Cossack because he's a good-hearted scientist who was forced to fight [[Pantheon/OtherPowers Mega Man]] because Wily held his daughter captive. Interested in Jill Valentine and her exposure to P-20, the super serum that Wesker used to control her.
* As a whole, superheroes in the Marvel and even DC universe were glad to see that Dr Abraham Erskine had become part of the Trope Pantheon. Being a military superhero himself, Nathaniel Adam was rather fond of the guy. Unfortunately many supervillains from Marvel and DC wanted him for his secrets, and to strike a spiritual defeat of sorts on the various supers. Dr Erskine is also well-respected by the House of War, and is often seen aiding heroic soldiers in the House of Pantheon/SoldiersAndWarriors. Now that he has ascended to the pantheon Dr Erskine is able to make more of the SuperSerum, however he's waiting for both the right opportunity and the right person to do so.
* Colonel Mustang was interested in Dr Erskine's studies, and has asked him to help reform the military after Father's conspiracy and control on Amestris was taken down. Father himself merely sees the power his knowledge and serum would bring to his own cause. Dr Erskine agreed once he saw the likes of Maes Hughes and Riza Hawkeye were keeping his morality in check. He wondered if Alex Louis Armstrong had developed some version of the serum, but he rebuffed and proclaimed THE ARMSTRONG PHYSIQUE HAS BEEN PASSED DOWN FOR GENERATIONS, ALL NATURAL!
* Erskine was glad to learn that Nazism has been defeated, almost completely discredited and decried as a VillainByDefault ideology after his death and World War 2. Unfortunately many Nazis had entered the pantheon, most notably the Red Skull. Many Nazis want him captured so they may gain the super-soldier serum for their own. Rudol von Stroheim, while the nicest Nazi of the group (mainly because he's not genocidally racist), was still an enemy for wanting the serum for militaristic reasons.
* On good terms with Lt. Karl Fairburne and Lt. Mike Powell, OSS agents who have dealt with, among other things, Nazi superweapons projects and German scientists wanting to defect to the Western Allies. Fairburne in particular is reminded of Dr. Efram Schweiger when he sees Dr Erskine, a German rocket scientist he had failed to protect and died similarly.
* He didn't like learning of various nasty Russian deities such as Nikita Dragovich and Vladimir Makarov. Fortunately there were kind-hearted communists like Tashkent to make up for it. Dr Erskine also didn't like how Dr Wily has hijacked a number of Robot Masters from good people for his evil ends. The good doctor gets along with Dr Light, who has suffered due to Wily and wants his creations to bring about a better world.
* Doesn't like the AllGermansAreNazis trope, since as he put it "the first country the Nazis invaded was their own". Despite his defection to the US, he remains respectful of the [[MoePersonification personified ships]] that served on Germany's side, even if he utterly loathes [[ThoseWackyNazis the Nazis in charge of much of the war effort.]] He also gets along with Gertrud Barkhorn.
* On good terms with famous theoretical physicist Albert Einstein, who left Nazi Germany soon as he could. Erskine has a more conflicted views with Dr Ludwig Von Maxis. They can relate in being forced to use their science for the Nazis and he understands how the love for his daughter drived him to desperate acts, however Erskine thinks many of the things he did are just too extreme for him.
* Generally upset that genetic modification and serums have been abused, creating monsters like [[Pantheon/GeneticEngineering the T-002 Tyrant and I.Rex]]. He pities the likes of Mewtwo for the unethical manner of which a super-powered fighter was brought into the world. Mewtwo regards him as one of few humans he respects, due to his moral code and refusal to cross ethical boundaries in the field of war-time science.
* Utterly despises the MadScientist Davros. The man used his intellect to twist the mutating Kaleds into [[Pantheon/ExtraterrestrialBehaviour eternally violent and ultra-xenophobic mutants]], the absolute opposite of the super-soldiers like Captain America. Davros [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist claims he saved the Kaleds from inevitable death]], but Erskine sees him for the insane madman he is(plus [[GenocideFromTheInside he killed the Kaleds for trying to stop his Dalek project]]). He also hates the utterly immoral methods Sundowner uses to make ChildSoldiers and make money off war.
* ''Whatever happens tomorrow you must promise me one thing. That you will stay who you are. Not a perfect soldier, but a good man.''

* One day, a mysterious ship came hurtling out of nowhere. A team was sent to investigate. They found a man coming out of the wreckage. When they asked who he was, he said, "[[Series/LegendsOfTomorrow My name is Rex Tyler. I'm a member of the Justice Society of America]]." When the Main House learned of who he was and where he got his powers, it didn't take long to find him a suitable place in the pantheon, especially with Captain America advocating for him.
** Captain America both respects and pities Hourman as he too was bestowed extraordinary abilities by a SuperSerum. His are weaker than Hourman's but made up for by being permanent. He feels compassion for the man's past situation.
* Rex "Tick Tock" Tyler is a biochemist who developed a compound he called "Miraclo", which he uses to become the superhero, Hourman. This mixture, when ingested, temporarily increases human physical capabilities to superhuman levels. These effects, as his superhero name implies, only last one hour. The side effects of using Miraclo include personality changes and addiction. Prolonged exposure can lead to developing symptoms identical to Leukemia.
* Though mostly withdrawn from the hero business, he is willing, if reluctant, to come out of retirement and use Miraclo again if necessary. This is especially true if it's to aid his fellow founders of the Justice Society of America, Doctor Fate and The Spectre. It helps that a non-addictive variant has been created.
** He does like to help The Flash and Batman foil their ice villains' schemes, albeit in a limited capacity. He has some experience fighting cold-themed villains through one of his own enemies, Dr. Joar Mahkent, otherwise known as "Icycle".
* Having a life fraught with addiction has given Rex Tyler incentive to champion the cause against dependency. He's set up a group to help those suffering from the condition, whether it be drugs, alcohol, magic, etc. None of these things are necessarily harmful in and of themselves, but addiction is enough to justify taking them seriously. This has given him the loyalty of anyone with a hatred or history of addiction or their causes. This includes Jack Harkness, who is fairly well-known for his hatred of [[TheAggressiveDrugDealer drug dealers]] and Sherlock Holmes, who by some accounts has been known for [[Literature/TheSevenPerCentSolution overcoming]] his [[Series/{{Elementary}} drug addiction]]. Although Rex has acknowledged that the chances of curing some deities are low, either because of the [[StatusQuoIsGod status quo]] or that the deity in question would lose their status if they were cured, he feels it would be immoral to not at least try.
** Sees Bane, whose Venom is an even more harmful variant of Miraclo, as an ominous reflection of his past struggles.
** J'onn J'onnz has been seen attending meetings when his cookie addiction gets really bad.
* '''Hates''' Professor Hojo with a passion. Not only does he remind Rex of one of his worst enemies, Doctor Rocco Togg, but Hojo is much much worse. Where Doctor Togg experimented on and created monstrous animals, which is bad, Professor Hojo experiments on human beings, including his own family members, which is significantly worse.
* Popeye once tried to see if Rex's Miraclo could match his Spinach. Rex wasn't sure if he should risk using his drug for such a thing, even if it wasn't addictive. Eventually, he acquiesced and they've been seen competing in various physical competitions. Neither has been able to come out on top.
* In honor of the sacrifice of the third Hourman, Tyler (also called "Ty" or "Matthew"), who was an android who sacrificed himself to erase his death at the hands of the villain Extant, Rex is extremely friendly to all Good-aligned machines, believing all of them to be "as alive as any of us" just as Ty was. In turn, he is strictly opposed to the Grand United Alliance of Machines, who he feels are a stain on everything that Ty always fought for. This has earned him the mutual respect of Ruby Rose, who has expressed similar beliefs.
** Has had pleasant conversations with The Doctor and Doc Brown on the subject of time travel. Rex isn't the most well-versed in the topic, as he himself is not primarily a time-traveler, but he does have some knowledge through Ty, who most definitely was.
* Being two superheroes whose powers revolve around a time limit as well as having experience with neglecting their children due to personal issues, Rex and Kotetsu T. Kaburagi get along well.
