Hello World!

Now that I got that programming meme out of the way, let me talk a little about myself. I love daydreaming about storytelling and worldbuilding; the nitty-gritty of actually putting words on a blank screen, not so much. This makes TV Tropes perfect for me.

I created a TV Tropes account because I want to help go thru the backlog in the Trope Repair Shop. Cleaning up any minor problems I find is also a bonus. I probably will not write any new work pages anytime soon.

TRS Stuff I helped in

A Library of Fictional Books

  • 1001 Depressing Historical Facts from El Goonish Shive
    • For when you need to learn about all the horrible things that happened in history.
  • Black Metallurgy and Ores of the Multiverse from Star vs. the Forces of Evil
    • A useful reference guide for identifying the original dimension of a metal.
  • Composing Digital Music For Total Hacks from Todd in the Shadows
  • Daring Do and the Quest for the Sapphire Stone from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic
    • While on the hunt for the Sapphire Stone, Daring Do suffered a crash and injured her wing. Can she find the stone before Ahuizotl and his goons find her?
  • Dispatches from the Numinous Frontier from A Memory Called Empire
    • An example of Teixcalaanli literature, detailing Eleven Lathe's encounter with the Ebrekti, plus some musing on philosophy.
  • Encyclopedia Galactica from Foundation
    • The definitive reference volume for lifting your civilization out of the dark ages.
  • Error Codes from xkcd
    • A -41 error means "sit by a lake."
  • The Good Witch Azura from The Owl House
  • The Great Family Marconi from Beach Read
  • The Heterodyne Boys and the Race to the West Pole from Girl Genius
  • The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
    • An essential companion volume to your towel.
  • Hogwarts: A History from Harry Potter
    • A well regarded history of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, filled with many details.
  • Hop Pop's Rules of the Road from Amphibia
    • Stay safe on the road with this handy reference volume.
  • Howe to Kille Insects from Discworld
    • Humptulip's 2000-page masterpiece. The writing is mostly incomprehensible, but it still has value for the desperate.
  • The Journal of Sir Alvin Shackleberg (Vol. 1) from Phineas and Ferb
  • The King in Yellow from The King in Yellow
    • A creepy play about how one lady's curiosity led to the downfall of her city. It is not recommended that you read the second act.
  • THE NEATHBOW from Sunless Sea
    • A children's book about all the impossible colors of the Neath, from Irrigo to Gant.
  • The Necronomicon from Cthulhu Mythos
    • Abdul Alhazred famous guide on the occult. Includes magic spells, strange gods, and secret histories.
  • The Perilous Frontier! from A Desolation Called Peace
  • Poem Book from Riddle School
  • The Unabridged Version of S. Morgenstern's The Princess Bride from The Princess Bride
    • A masterful social satire. Allegedly.
  • SCP-1230 "A Hero is Born" from SCP Foundation
    • A mostly blank book, with only the words 'A hero is born" written on the first page. Readers tend to get strange dreams after reading this book.
  • Slim Volume of Bazaarine Poetry from Fallen London
  • The Society of Sirens: A Memoir from The Rakess
  • The Song of the Sky from Sunless Skies
  • Succeeding in Management 1983 from Gravity Falls
    • Put on your shoulder pads, and let's learn to manage like it's the 1980s.
  • The Summoning of Dragons from Guards! Guards!
    • It's all about belief apparently.
  • The Theory and Practice of Oligarchic Collectivism from 1984
    • A forbidden book that describes the ideology of English Socialism, or Ingsoc, and claims that its ultimate goal is power for its own sake. It is said that the description is good, but the program is poor.
  • To Serve Man from The Twilight Zone (1959)
    • It's a cookbook!
