A sequel was released in 2015. In the sequel, Blart attends a security convention in Las Vegas, only to stumble upon an art heist led by Vincent Sofel (Creator/NealMcDonough), and he and a group of fellow security guards must stop them.

[[spoiler: Overall, it's no big surprise that the marriage collapsed, although the fact it only lasted six days speaks a lot to how much of a schlub Paul is.]]
