And when Hela and Sleipnir refuse to rejoin her upon her taking the throne, it only drives her further over the edge.

* {{Adorkable}}: Dinky. She doesn't have a lot in the way of social skills, and believes that reprogramming a robot would be an easier, more effective route to take than going out and meeting new ponies.

* CrashIntoHello: Pip and Dinky collide on their way into school. {{Adorkable}} MeetCute ensues.

* LiteraryAgentHypothesis: How A-H explains Time Turner being Dinky's Dad, [[Series/DoctorWho Doctor Whooves]] showing up at one point in another story, and the existence of a TV show in universe (that takes its name from ''Film/AnAdventureInSpaceAndTime''). Basically, according to WordOfGod the Doctor we see is the Ninth, while the TV show came about when the Doctor visited a bored writer who ran with the idea.

* RecursiveCanon: Time Turner is Dinky's father and the Doctor exists in the universe, while a TV show named ''[[Series/DoctorWho Adventures in Space and Time]]'' and based off the Doctor's adventures [[LiteraryAgentHypothesis was written by a bored writer the Doctor met once]].

** Cheerilee is the counterpart to the [[SpiderMan Lizard]].

** Cheerilee [[spoiler: as the soon to be [[SpiderMan Lizard]]]] shows up near the climax. Seems that Fluttershy attracts a lot of intercontinuity attention.

** All the characters were PettingZooPeople, compared to the CivilizedAnimal style of [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic the original show]], due to a {{Retcon}} by Avenging-Hobbits. However, this was eventually retconned back due to widespread dislike of the change.

* SlidingScaleOfAnthropomorphism: They were briefly PettingZooPeople (due to a retcon), but eventually changed by to the CivilizedAnimal that is more common in MLP fan fiction.

* ClothingDamage[=/=]MagicPants: In keeping with the PettingZooPeople {{Retcon}}, both of these tropes are added to the story.

* BriefAccentImitation: Gilda does this with Applejack as a way to belittle her thick Ozark accent. Counts as a CrowningMomentOfFunny as well.

* BigBad: None. [[PsychoForHire Herzlos]] is the StarterVillain, [[ShockAndAwe Light Bright/Living Laser]] is the FinalBoss, and [[CorruptCorporateExecutive Fancypants']] mysterious master is alluded to be a BiggerBad, but the story has no central villain.

* SpoiledSweet: Unlike her sister, all the affection poured on Cadence only makes her sweeter.

** Carrot Cake, Pinkie's kind employer, and Fleur de Lis, like Fancypants one of the few pleasant Canterlot residents, are in the roles of prominent [[AntiVillain Anti Villains]] {{Magneto}} and Mystique.

Sadly, Avenging Hobbit's waning interest in both the project and MLP as a whole has put the entire series on hiatus indefinitely -- not quite a DeadFic, though, as he has stated his intent to find someone to finish it.

** Cadence is Celestia and Luna's sister instead of their niece. Likewise, Sunset Shimmer is another sister.

* ArcWelding: Between ''Captain Equestria'' and ''X-Questrians: First Class'' -- Gustav, the BigBad of ''X-Questrians'', is revealed in ''Captain Equestria'' to have been a member of HYDRA.
* BiggerBad: Nightmare Moon appears to be this, as she's been referenced one way or another in every story.
