Naturally, they're coming back to take revenge and destroy humanity. Realising this, Shayla and Red Lion bring the Animarium over the town of Turtle Cove, built over the remains of Animaria, and locate five chosen wielders of the Animal Crystals, summoning them to the Animarium - in the process [[NiceJobBreakingItHero unknowingly]] [[{{Unperson}} erasing the memories of them from the minds of almost everyone else in the world]]. These five chosen warriors consist of [[TheHero Cole Medina]], a WildChild orphan raised by an indigenous tribe in South America before being sent up north as he came of age to find his birth family; [[TheLeader Taylor Earhardt]], an Air Force pilot and war veteran who was undergoing therapy after suffering PTSD on the battlefield; [[TheLancer Max Cooper]], a junior high school student and wannabe professional bowler; [[TheBigGuy Danny Delgado]], a florist and environmentalist who was about to be married to his [[ChildhoodFriendRomance childhood friend]] Kendall before being teleported away from the altar; and [[TheSmartGuy Alyssa Enrile]];, a student-teacher and [[RenaissanceMan Renaissance Woman]] who was DesperatelySeekingAPurposeInLife prior to being recruited. After becoming aware of the situation, they reluctantly agree to take the mantle of the champions of the Wildzords, with a special ceremony from Red Lion resulting in the reincarnation of his old teammates - Yellow Eagle, Blue Shark, Black Bison and White Tiger.
