"Wild access!"

The twenty fourth instalment of the Power Rangers Redverse written by Mad Red X 12, an adaptation of the actual Power Rangers Wild Force. Three thousand years ago, in the lost kingdom of Animaria, a strange race of creatures known as Orgs emerged, wanting to coexist with humanity. However, humanity rejected and segregated them solely because of their appearances. Prejudiced against and driven away, the Orgs disappeared underground and emerged with great forces to wipe out all non-Org life. However, the guardians of Animaria, the Wildzords, were able to drive back the Orgs, sealing them away. However, by that time, Animaria was destroyed, and the dying King Murasaki was able to send his daughter Shayla and the Red Lion Wildzord, the Sole Survivor of the Wildzords, up to safety on a floating turtle-shaped island known as the Animarium, where they rest and train themselves for the next three thousand years.

Those three thousand years have now passed, and due to pollution, the seals keeping the Orgs at bay have been destroyed. Naturally, they're coming back to take revenge and destroy humanity. Realising this, Shayla and Red Lion bring the Animarium over the town of Turtle Cove, built over the remains of Animaria, and locate five chosen wielders of the Animal Crystals, summoning them to the Animarium - in the process unknowingly erasing the memories of them from the minds of almost everyone else in the world. These five chosen warriors consist of Cole Medina, a Wild Child orphan raised by an indigenous tribe in South America before being sent up north as he came of age to find his birth family; Taylor Earhardt, an Air Force pilot and war veteran who was undergoing therapy after suffering PTSD on the battlefield; Max Cooper, a junior high school student and wannabe professional bowler; Danny Delgado, a florist and environmentalist who was about to be married to his childhood friend Kendall before being teleported away from the altar; and Alyssa Enrile; a student-teacher and Renaissance Woman who was Desperately Seeking A Purpose In Life prior to being recruited. After becoming aware of the situation, they reluctantly agree to take the mantle of the champions of the Wildzords, with a special ceremony from Red Lion resulting in the reincarnation of his old teammates - Yellow Eagle, Blue Shark, Black Bison and White Tiger.

The Wild Force Rangers:

The Orgs:

  • Master Org: The Big Bad, the human-like leader of the Orgs who wants to pollute the Earth and have the Orgs rule the world.
  • Toxica and Jindrax: The two Co-Dragons, a pair of human-like Duke Orgs who are typically sent out to monitor Org activity.

Recurring Power Rangers Redverse Tropes:

  • Action Girl: Taylor, who used to be in the Air Force, and Alyssa, who has been trained in martial arts since she was a child by her father.
  • By the Power of Grayskull!: "Wild Access!"
  • Chest Insignia: Team insignia on the belts, personal emblems on the upper-left chest.
  • Contrasting Sequel Main Character: The Time Force Rangers were a technology-based team who regularly travelled through time, while the Wild Force Rangers are a magic-based team with an environmentalist motif.
  • Home Base: The Animarium, a continent-sized floating island shaped like a turtle, and home to the Wildzords. There's also the Gao Rock, which serves as their main method of transportation on and off the island.
  • The Mentor: Princess Shayla and the Wildzords.
  • Mooks: Orgettes.
  • Weapon Specialization:
    • Cool Sword: The Crystal Sabers, the main sidearms of the core five Rangers. They can also shoot beams of energy, although their main function is to let the Wildzords combine.
    • Wolverine Claws: The Rangers' gloves have claws that can be used for quick close-quarters-combat strikes.
    • Power Fist: Cole's Lion Fang, which can transform into the Lion Blaster.
    • Cool Sword: Taylor's Eagle Sword and Max's secondary weapon, the Sword of Pardolis.
    • The Straight and Arrow Path: The five Bows of Summoning, used by the Rangers to summon their later Wildzords.
    • Automatic Crossbows: Cole's tertiary weapon, the Falconator (a wrist-mounted crossbow).
    • Ray Gun: Danny's secondary weapon, the Rhino Blaster.
    • Combo Rifle: The Jungle Cannon, the combination of the team's secondary and tertiary weapons.
    • Improbable Weapon User: Merrick's Lunar Cue (a pool cue that can turn into a sword or laser rifle), Danny's tertiary weapon, the Armadillo Disc (a hockey puck); and Alyssa's tertiary weapon, the Deer Clutcher (a set of pincers).

Tropes specific to Wild Force:

  • Adaptation Name Change: The Wild Force Megazord is renamed the Wild King Megazord, the Kongazord is named the Mega Strikerzord, and the Isis Megazord is named the Wild Knight Megazord.
  • Adaptational Badass: The Wildzords have many new abilities that they lacked in the original, namely possessing enough intelligence to speak coherently, being able to shrink down to serve as mounts for the Rangers, and most notably being able to create human bodies for themselves, allowing them to either pose as civilians or outright become the Rangers themselves (the auxiliary Zords being able to become auxiliary Rangers this way).
  • Adapted Out: The Savage Cycles, save for Merrick's, don't appear, with the Wildzords instead shrinking down and transporting the Rangers themselves, fitting in with the environmentalism motif. However, Cole's personal flying bike, the Wild Force Rider, does still appear, and the Rangers occasionally use a shared safari jeep.
  • Always Chaotic Evil: Averted with the Orgs. Despite them being born of darkness, they possess full sapience and are capable of changing and making their own decisions, as shown by Barbeque Org, Human Org, Jindrax and Toxica (even though they were technically Human All Along), and Zen-Aku.
  • Back for the Finale: In "Forever Red", AkaRed brings Geki into the future so he can serve as the representative Mighty Morphin' Red Ranger and Jason can use his Sun Vulcan powers in the battle.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending:
    • The ending of the series is obviously this for the Rangers.
  • Fantastic Caste System: The less horns or the more developed single horn an Org has, the higher on the social hierarchy they stand. The lowest Orgs are the Orgettes, who have only one small and underdeveloped horn. The standard Orgs have at least two horns, while the Baron Orgs such as Toxica and Jindrax have one developed horn. The Duke Orgs have multiple complex horns, and Master Org has a single complex golden horn.
  • Little Bit Beastly: The Wildzords, in their human forms, have at least one familiar trait from their true forms.
    • Red Lion has a "mane" of long hair and a squashed nose reminiscent of a lion's snout.
    • Yellow Eagle has a hooked nose similar to a beak and feathery hair.
    • Blue Shark has Cute Little Fangs and a prominent spike of hair on the back of her head that resembles a shark's fin.
    • Black Bison has horn-like spikes in his hair and a nose ring similar to a bull.
    • White Tiger has similar Cute Little Fangs to Blue Shark as well as stripes in her hair similar to a tiger's stripes.
  • Massive Multiplayer Crossover: The "Forever Red" special episode, which has 40 Red Rangers (plus AkaRed of the Genesis Rangers) uniting against Chronos, an old enemy of the Genesis Rangers, and the surviving generals of the Atlantis Empire.
  • Mythology Gag:
    • Yellow Eagle's human form bears a resemblance to Gaku Washio, Taylor's Gaoranger counterpart.
  • Precursor Heroes: The ancient Animarian warriors.
  • Quickly-Demoted Woman: Averted. Unlike in the actual series, Taylor remains the team's leader, even though Cole does often act as an informal field commander.
  • Remember When You Blew Up a Sun?: Nearly all the Red Rangers get in on this at the end of "Forever Red".
  • Shout-Out:
