* AmbiguouslyEvil: Puma has apparently dealt with [[Franchise/FiveNightsAtFreddys Fazbear Corp]], a notoriously corrupt company, and apparently works with potions of some sort, giving him MadScientist shades. That said, he does genuinely care about his friends, and would probably be AffablyEvil at worst.
* AmbiguouslyHuman: In his newer appearances, he sometimes drops hints of being a [[OurWerebeastsAreDifferent werecat]], [[HalfHumanHybrid human-cat hybrid]], or something similar.
* TheBusCameBack: He was originally a main character, then became DemotedToExtra, then disappeared entirely for a while. But on Page 220, he finally came back to stay.
* HeavySleeper: Used as a plot device to justify him being gone from the story.
* NonIronicClown: In his earlier appearances, he worked as a birthday party clown, and seemed to genuinely enjoy being an entertainer. He did try to assist the others with their bank robbery plan in one episode, but only because he was afraid to let them down.
* NotSoAboveItAll: He occasionally objects to, or doesn't understand, the other tropers' plans, but he always goes along with them anyway, and he's certainly involved with some crazy shenanigans himself.
