* YourCheatingHeart: Cheated on Tim several times, but then again Tim was sort of cheating on her with Steph as well.

Tim's longest running LoveInterest throughout his solo ''Robin'' series, ''Red Robin'' and into the present day. Stephanie smacked Robin in the [[LoveAtFirstPunch face with a brick]] at their first meeting while she was working as Spoiler to foil her father’s criminal plans. As Spoiler and Robin they often fought together and it was something he looked forward to. Over time Tim found that he could not get her out of his mind, even when he was on [[YourCheatingHeart dates with his girlfriend Ariana]] which was a part of the many reasons that relationship fell apart.

Shortly after Stephanie and Robin started dating she realized she was pregnant from her previous relationship and Tim supported her through the pregnancy despite being forbidden from revealing his secret identity to her. Her death in ‘’War Games’’ came at a time when Tim was suffering many devastating loses. After her return from FakingTheDead she betrays Tim on Bruce’s orders and he doesn’t take it very well. He eventually demands that she stop wearing the Spoiler costume and give up crimefighting because he is worried about the danger her apparent ineptitude puts her in and, as he says, “I still ''love'' you Steph”. When they later meet after she has taken up the Batgirl mantle he is initially disappointed she hasn’t left the costumed crimefighting life but he ends up realizing that she has [[TookALevelInBadass greatly improved her fighting abilities and reaction time]], and finds that he is still attracted to her. * MentorShip: She starts out as Tim’s tutor since he is chronically absent and frequently asleep in class when he does show.

A mercenary and one of Tim's martial arts mentors who promises to comes by for a duel to the death after she has finished training him. Shiva took Tim as a student with the intention of corrupting his purpose and making him a killer, his manner of avoiding doing so where he left King Snake to her mercy while the man was dangling from a skyscraper and she was likely to kill him left her amused. She is considered among the best {{Badass Normal}} martial artists on earth and is dedicated to finding a worthy opponent to take her place at the top.

* BlackBestFriend: Before disappearing he was the only African American in the group and clearly closer to Ives than Hudson, and had known him before any of the group met Tim.

* CelibateHero: He’s got nothing against dating and has a number of girlfriends but is repeatedly confirmed to be a virgin by his own choice.

The alias Tim's spent the most time in (outside of Cal Corcoran [[spoiler: which he used as his identity for years after {{Faking the Dead}} as the last living Titan]] in ''ComicBook/TheNew52FuturesEnd''), especially after he starts using it to spend time with Stephanie outside of costume before she is allowed to know his {{Secret Identity}}. It ends up being the name he uses when out of costume around Comicbook/YoungJustice too and Bart continued to use it as his name even after he manages to figure out Tim's real name since he decided that one was a fake.

* TraumaCongaLine: He has had many of his closest friends and family killed over recent years ([[DeathIsCheap though most of them do get better]]). Despite the setback of Jason Todd's unpopularity and the killing-off that came along with it, Denny O'Neil was not convinced to give up on the character of Robin. Thus, Tim Drake was born, and this time, the writers were careful to make him much less similar to Dick.

At age nine, Tim was able to deduce both Batman and Robin I's identities, but kept it to himself, until years later, when Dick went solo and Jason died. Realizing how deeply Jason's death had affected his idol, Batman, Tim tried to convince Dick to reprise his role as Batman's partner. Although he agreed, Dick would only do so as ComicBook/{{Nightwing}}, despite Tim's insistence that Batman needed a Robin.

It took multiple trials, but finally, Tim was able to gain both Bruce and Dick's respect, along with the permission to become Robin. He proved to be much more popular than Jason ever was, and like Dick, got [[ComicBook/RobinSeries multiple spin-off series]]. Following the Bat-Family shakeup following ''R.I.P.'' & ''Battle For The Cowl'', he has taken the role of Red Robin. With the return of Bruce & the founding of Batman Incorporated, Tim has become a more tech-savvy hero, using the first Anarky in a sort of "Oracle" tech role. Tim eventually became as worthy a holder of the Robin title as Dick, and is pretty much ''the'' Robin post-Dick, holding the title the longest after him and being Batman's most trusted lieutenant after Dick went solo.[[hardline]]
