That is... not how Badass Normal works at all. It's for unpowered humans (or basically characters like humans) who can go toe-to-toe with superpowered threats. Even someone with Powered Armor doesn't count. A giant mech isn't this just because it doesn't use nuclear weapons, it's still a giant mech. And I don't think vehicles/mechs in general can even qualify for the trope to begin with.


* BadassNormal: Unlike other MG weapons it lacks nuclear weaponry, but it still poses a major threat. This is largely because it's made for smaller scale operations, mainly attacking the military itself, as opposed to simply being made to destroy.
