Takako Imai is a name anyone even remotely interested in the field of fashion would know. With her word being enough to restore or downright eviscerate a brand’s reputation in the eyes of fashionistas around the country, it’s difficult to call her sway in the fashion world petty. Originally gaining recognition for her good looks, street photography and commentary on emerging trends in the Harajuku area, along with her ability to modify practically anything to look good, Takako’s Ameba blog and associated YouTube channel have both quickly risen in stature, exploding in popularity after one of her liveblogs of Chanel’s, in her own words, “droopy pathetic grandma curtains” of a new spring/summer collection, Takako soon becoming a top-ranking blogger at just 17. Since then, Takako’s success hasn’t been limited to just online blogging, her face plastered on advertisements, her brand-sponsored #looks garnering attention for each company that held her as an ally, and most impressively, the upcoming launch of her new fashion line, 'ＣＨＡＯＳ ＤＥＭＯＮ', that will set you back ¥20,000 for a mere sniff. Takako herself, however, can still be found browsing the trendiest new stores of Tokyo, if you’re looking for her that hard.

* WhoNeedsEnemies?: Has this relationship with Miyu Suzuki. With the way they collaborate on labyrinths and mastermind evidence, are both mutual friends of Kris Tenshi, and share a love of birds as well as somewhat cold upbringings by wealthy parents...they really, really don't get along. [[spoiler: Clove's nosiness as a journalist and Miyu posing as the Byakko in ch. 3's murder investigation both opened old wounds. Said wounds were deep enough to cause a two-sided grudge.]]

The matter, eventually, became a very personal fight between her and the culprit.]] Being a 'child detective prodigy' isn't as glorious as anime, books, and video games will have you believe.

* CommonalityConnection: Notably shared between her and Clove as two investigative talents [[spoiler: and as two lesbians,]] as well as her and Kris regarding the fact that both come from Osaka[[spoiler: and they also share several parallels in their backstories.]]

* IceQueen: Tends to be emotionally detached from her classmates, often acting coldly and opting for 'objectivism' whenever possible.[[spoiler: But following the events of the second trial, [[DefrostingIceQueen she appears to have softened in some regards.]] ]]

* BreakTheHaughty: Chapter 3 gradually piles this onto her, but the first major break is [[spoiler:having several people discover her true talent, then learning that Hope's Peak considered ''putting a hit out on her father'']]. Later, [[spoiler:the stress of the motive wears her down until she kills Mio, and she earns the hatred of almost the entire class after she [[WoundedGazelleGambit preys on their sympathies]] and nearly causes a mistrial.]] By the end of the chapter, [[spoiler:she breaks down weeping, realizing that she is about to die without having accomplished anything in her life]].

* HypocriticalHumor: Throughout Chapter 2's dance event, she calls out several of her opponents for unsporting behavior. This ignores that she's laughed at their misfortunes, destroyed their outfits with paint, overreacted to minor injuries in an attempt to bait pity, and kicked Airi hard enough to make her ''bleed''.

* BloodKnight: Seeing others fighting? Get out the popcorn (lol), but given the opportunity to fight....
