* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: With Jessica. When you first meet him, he's in a drunken stupor because he upset Jessica and misses her after she walked out after a verbal fight. He's also the only person to break out of Royce's petrification after an illusion of the stone Mel tricks the whole party sans Jessica to snap Jessica out of her saddened state.

* SilentBob: He barely spoke in the first game (he only had ''one'' voiced line, right at the end, and about two or three dialogue boxes) and only spoke at important moments in the ''Silver Star Story'' remake. He's much more chatty in ''Harmony''.

* BlackMage: Nash specializes offensive magic. Unlike Mia, his expertise is limited to lightning-based spells.

* CrutchCharacter: A rare case of a late game example. He's maxed out, is really powerful and tough despite his equipment being garbage for that point in the game, and can make four moves/attacks in one turn. In the remakes he's just maxed out with no special tricks.

* ClimaxBoss: Has his own unique battle theme, and throws really flashy attacks, and is the strongest enemy in both versions.
* CrutchCharacter: All versions, when you get him briefly. He's maxed out, so he has a ton of HP and deal more damage with or without his magic staff than Alex can with his current weapons at the point in the game you have him, and his magic will pretty much end a fight instantly.
