* SoleSurvivor: The Weavers ended up leaving Hallownest back to where they originally came from when the infection hit, so all that remains of them in Hallownest are husks and corpses... with the exception of one uninfected Weaver that stands near the entrance once you pick up the Weaversong charm. However, she can't be interacted with, as she immediately scurried away once she sees the Knight.

* AmbiguouslyEvil: If you talk to the denizens of Dirtmouth, they all comment that there's something "sinister" about the Troupe, but it's not entirely clear what it is. In-game, they are at least not the Knight's enemies, and are generally quite courteous.

Bee Afraid has been redefined. Moved to Scary Stinging Swarm.

* BeeAfraid: There's a honey bee hive hidden in Kingdom's Edge. It has its own boss and several persistent types of bees that are difficult to fight off. The area is optional, but mandatory if you want to collect the charm, mask shard, and grubs hidden in it. The bees in the hive are easily aggro'd by the Knight's presence. That is, unless you wear the Hiveblood charm which acts as an EncounterRepellant against them.

* DifficultySpike: Just as [[WakeUpCallBoss Hornet's boss fight]] in Greenpath speaks about speed and agility, so do the Mantis Villagers in the Fungal Wastes, as they also move fast, have short wind-up times on their attacks, that can also hit at a considerable range. This is compared to the generally sluggish lesser mooks that you encountered in the earliest stages.

Odds are you’ll find them dead on your first play through because you came through the Queens garden entrance after killing a dreamer or getting the Monarch wings first. But by finding a breakable wall southwest of the Queens station you can talk to them early. Thankfully even if their dead you can still get their journal entry.

* DestructiveSavior: Hive Guardians protect the Hive at all costs by hurling their bodies. The Hunter notes that their clumsiness can make the Guardians damage their own Hive when charging at intruders. In fact, the game encourages you to exploit this tactic, since a Mask Shard in the Hive can only be obtained by luring a Hive Guardian to destroy a cracked wall.

* FurryReminder: As if the similarities to their real-life beehive counterparts aren't obvious enough, the Hunter calls them hardworking creatures in large numbers, and their bodies contain a thick, sweet golden liquid – In other words, honey.
