The main antagonists of "Season 0." They are hunting Hakuno Kishinami in the hopes of obtaining her Regalia for a mysterious purpose. They are all comprised of [[AlternateSelf alternate counterparts]] to individuals that Hakuno has fought and defeated in the Moon Cell Holy Grail War.

The Beast III. She who represents All Evils of the World, twisted and reshaped for the desire of passion and love.

* AdaptationalVillainy: Kiara's goals in CCC were to bring the world under the idea that, in order to reach salvation, they must reach enlightenment by way of "pure bliss." And by that, we mean one big orgasm. Here, Kiara is trying to find Hakuno and take her Regalia, which has been entrusted with the functions of every Moon Cell in existence. In her quest to find Hakuno Kishinami Zaizen, the holder of this unique Regalia, she's apparently conquered several different parallel dimensions, including Rin Tohsaka's. While her goal is still the same as her CCC counterpart, this Kiara has done more than a few horrible things to accomplish her goal.
* AlternateSelf: This version of Kiara is more in line with her ''Fate/Grand Order'' incarnation than her ''CCC'' portrayal, evident by the fact that she has Zepar, the catalyst behind her transformation into Beast III in the former game. She even had EMIYA Alter as her Servant before he went against her after realizing what her plan was.
* BigBad: Of the CCC Arc.
* BeyondTheImpossible: She's accomplished this on two occasions in "FATED BATTLE." The first is accumulating a ludicrous amount of Life Points, as high as ''50,000'' in the first turn alone. The second is her Duel Monsters form, Beast III -- Demon King Rapture, which is a '''Link 8''' monster.
* ClimaxBoss: Kiara is stated to not be Hakuno's final opponent, and is instead the ultimate antagonist of the CCC Arc.
* ClippedWingAngel: Averted horribly. Unlike in ''CCC'', Kiara managed to achieve her ascension as a Beast thanks to subjugating Zepar.
* CurbStompBattle: This is pretty much the only way to describe how the first half of Kiara and Hakuno's duel unfolds. She practically {{No Sell))s everything Hakuno throws at her and only makes it harder for her by continuously increasing her Life Points to ludicrous amounts.
* DoubleEntendre: And you thought Shuten-Douji knew how to make something sound dirty. This woman is sex ''personafied''.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Her huge life point pool is used against her thanks to Revolver having [[ArchaicWeaponForAnAdvancedAge Life Equalizer]].
* HornyDevils: She's a Beast of Gaia, one of the most destructive forces in the entire Nasuverse, and she's also a member of a religious sect that believed one could gain enlightenment through sexual pleasure. We sincerely doubt that no one could fulfill this trope straighter than Kiara.
* TheImmodestOrgasm: Has one in the middle of hers and Hakuno's duel, much to Archer's disgust.
* LoopholeAbuse: Kiara's effects ensure that no monster who is Link 7 and lower can't affect her, and even if they did, she can't be destroyed by battle or by card effects. What she failed to take into account, however, was that card destruction isn't the only way to get a card to leave the field. Something Revolver's Topologic Zerovoros is happy to exploit by banishing Beast III.
* MadLove: As explained in ''Fate/Grand Order'', all Beasts share a powerful, yet destructive love for mankind. Kiara herself is no exception.
* MeaningfulName: The "Spiritron" support archetype Kiara uses to back-up her "Mara" monsters are in reference to the selfsame Spiritrons utilized by Spirit Hackers - the building blocks of a person's soul.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: Kiara breaking down the walls between realities is the reason Gilgamesh was able to show up to assist Hakuno, when he normally would have been trapped on the Far Side of the Moon Cell.
* NoSell: As Beast III -- Demon King Rapture. Her effects make it clear that, unless Hakuno has a Link 8 monster at her disposal or uses Spells and Traps to deal damage instead, ''nothing she can throw at Kiara will work''. This becomes subverted by Revolver, whose assistance proves vital in defeating her, and her NoSell armor is shot to hell thanks to Hakuno summoning Gilgamesh.
* OhCrap: The ''second'' Revolver gets involved in the duel, she starts having trouble. And just when she thinks she manages to get back control in the duel, Hakuno effectively pulls one over her by summoning Gilgamesh and taking her apart.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: She hasn't actively involved herself in her attempts to capture Hakuno and obtain the Regalia, instead leaving the matter to Julius and BB. She does become involved when she has Julius feed his blood to Zepar, which in turn causes it to spread throughout LINK VRAINS and begin merging the virtual world with reality. It isn't until the final duel that she battles Hakuno, and more than proves a match for her.
* ReligiousAndMythologicalThemeNaming: Kiara uses the "Mara" archetype. If you're familiar with Buddhist mythology, Mara is the name of a demon that embodies temptation, even at one point trying to tempt Buddha himself.
* SmugSuper: Was extremely confident that with her being a Link 8 monster who could not be destroyed in battle unless the opponent was equal, she was untouchable. Revolver showed that it is possible to get around that, and Gilgamesh was able to outright shut her down.
* VillainousBreakdown: She starts having a panic attack when Hakuno summons Gilgamesh, and for good reason.
* WhenTreesAttack: When Kiara begins her assault on LINK VRAINS, she spreads demonic tree roots all over the datascape. What's worse is that the tree is actually this story's version of [[OurDemonsAreDifferent Zepar]], which is not only fusing LINK VRAINS with reality, but is preventing everyone inside LINK VRAINS from logging out.

The older brother to Leonardo B. Harwey, he was born as the illegitimate child to the family and raised in secret, with few aware of his existence. By his own admission, if Leo was the light, then he is the darkness of the Harwey lineage. He is one of the strongest foes Hakuno had ever faced in the Moon Cell. In death, he was remade as a cyber ghost, still intent on completing his goals and ensuring Leo won the Holy Grail War. When he was defeated, Hakuno felt only pity, yet found herself unable to cry.

This Julius, however, is consumed by his own rage and hatred, devolving into a "Dead Face" -- a cyber ghost that can only feel anger towards the living and the world around it.

For the sake of his revenge against Hakuno Kishinami, he joined Kiara Sessyoin in order to find and kill the counterpart of his world's Hakuno. He is the Master of Li Shuwen, an Assassin-class Servant. Similar to his existence as a cyber ghost, however, Li Shuwen is classified as a Berserker.

* AmbiguousSituation: Leo's Duel with Julius makes one question Julius' predicament when you consider a few factors. First, he expresses genuine respect, awe and joy at Leo's various counters and planning. And secondly, he never outright expresses hatred towards Leo, even telling him to leave lest he force Julius' hand. The latter is ESPECIALLY jarring, in that Dead Faces cannot feel any positive emotions and despise everyone, without exception. [[spoiler:HAKUNO was able to develop some control over his existence, but that was due to his unique nature]]. The Duel overall makes it uncertain as to whether or not Julius is a Dead Face, or he's just consumed by his own hate for Hakuno that he's become something very close. [[spoiler:Chapter 19 reveals that Julius is a Dead Face, but all of his anger was directed at himself for not understanding why Hakuno was crying for him, which resulted in a conflicted nature that was tearing his body apart]].
* CainAndAbel: The Cain to Leo's Abel.
* CoDragons: With BB, though he eventually takes over her role at the start of the ''CCC'' Arc's climax.
* DeathOfAThousandCuts: Like Aoi, Julius employs a burn deck, except whereas hers does small points of damage to her opponent when they add a card to their hand or summon a monster, Julius' deck revolves around destroying his own monsters and resummoning them. Not only that, but he also takes damage as well, demonstrating incredible pain tolerance as he can withstand his own effects. Aoi found this out the hard way.
* DeathSeeker: [[spoiler:Implied. He purposely didn't treat his older injuries and ultimately succumbs to his wounds, all in the hopes that he could be reunited with the Leo from his world, citing that he existed to be Leo's "shadow", and without him, there was no reason for him to exist.]]
* TheDragon: He was this to Kiara while also serving as CoDragons with BB. [[spoiler:When BB kidnaps Hakuno and attempts to hide her away from Kiara, Julius performs a HeelFaceTurn after his duel with Leo.]]

** Similar to his portrayal in ''Last Encore'', unlike the original Julius who only regarded Hakuno as an enemy simply because of circumstance, Dead Face!Julius is utterly overwhelmed by his desire for revenge and will do anything to make Hakuno's life a living hell, even going so far as to brutalize Aoi in their duel when she attempted to protect Hakuno.
** His Cracked Cell cards are later revealed to be this, too. As it turns out, they're actually the corrupted remnants of a Moon Cell archtype.
* {{Foil}}: To his younger brother, Leo. Julius is working with Kiara in the hopes that he can find Hakuno Kishinami and exact vengeance against her for killing him in his world. He also utilizes a fan-made deck consisting of Cracked Cell and Ultramarine Monsters. Leo is working with Rin to protect Hakuno, as they and other members of their resistance group all owe their respective "Hakuno Kishinamis" their lives, and defeat Kiara. Leo also employs a real-life ''Yu-Gi-Oh!'' deck called Magibullet. [[spoiler:Further comparison between them is that Julius is a Dead Face that can feel nothing but hatred towards the world and the living -- especially Hakuno. Leo, on the other hand, is a cyber ghost who has good relationships with his allies, including Hakuno, who he affectionately calls Hakunon.]]
* HeelFaceTurn: [[spoiler:Chooses to defend Hakuno from BB, at the cost of his own life.]]
* HisOwnWorstEnemy: The true reason why Julius became a Dead Face. [[spoiler:In truth, rather than despise Hakuno Kishinami for killing him, he instead despised ''himself'' for being unable to figure out why Hakuno cried for him when she was forced to defeat him in the Holy Grail War. Since Dead Faces are meant to hate everything around them, Julius' existence contradicted his grudge against himself, which led to his body straining to maintain itself.]]
* ThePowerOfHate: This is what fuels each and every one of Julius' actions. It even overrides much of his own emotions, hence why Hakuno considers the existence of a Dead Face to be a FateWorseThanDeath.

A master of the martial arts, this individual did not learn a thousand techniques. No, he wished to finish his opponent in a single blow. Li Shuwen is one of the most famous martial artists in China, he was also skilled in utilizing the spear, having founded one of the many branches.

Due to his unneeded killing of his opponents, he met his death not out on the battlefield, but instead was poisoned by one of his challenger's relatives.

For a brief time, Li Shuwen, under the influence of his Master becoming a Dead Face, was corrupted and became a Berserker known as a Corroded Servant.

* BareFistedMonk: His preferred fighting style. He's good with a spear, but Li Shuwen prefers beating someone to death with his bare hands over impaling them on a stick.
* BlackEyesOfCrazy: Symbolizing his corruption, Li Shuwen's eyes now [[RedEyesTakeWarning glowing red]] and his sclera is totally black. He's since lost them after returning to form at the end of Julius' duel with Leo.
* BloodKnight: In life, he was a martial artist who challenged several foes over his long years. His lust for battle was what ultimately did him in when a challenger's family poisoned him in revenge.
* NoNameGiven: In his Berserker form, he is called "Corroded Servant -- Berserker." That said, Julius and Hakuno know his True Name. This becomes subverted when his Duel Monster card is rebranded as "Servant Assassin -- Li Shuwen."
* RedEyesTakeWarning: He has glowing red eyes in his corrupted Berserker state, and he has some dangerous effects. He loses the red eyes after seemingly regaining his sanity, but that doesn't make him any less dangerous.

* BerserkButton: She gets ''very'' angry when [[spoiler:Akira prevents her from wiping out the last of Aoi's Life Points, signified by her speech font becoming bold]]. Normally, whenever she talks, her speech is written "lIkE thIS" so for her to talk normally, albeit ragingly pissed, is very telling.
* CastFromHitPoints: Her Vampire deck has monsters that require her to pay Life Points in order to use their Effects. Run Ru's main strategy is to use her Servant, which can give her LP based on the damage he does, in tandem with Vampire Bloodlust, which has a similar effect.
* CoolMask: Or creepy, considering her appearance. She's always seen wearing her clown mask.
* HiddenEyes: It's almost impossible to make out her actual eyes, since only the pupils are visible. This doesn't stop Yusaku and [[spoiler:the Zaizen siblings]] from noticing how "crazy" she is just by looking at them.
* HorrorHunger: She can only eat things she loves. That includes "HUMANS." She ate her own pet, parents and her own child.
* ImAHumanitarian: She ate her family, and chances are, they were hardly the only people she's eaten. She's also started to take bites out of people in the Underground Dueling Circuit, where she reigns as champion.
* LeanAndMean: She's tall and lanky, and she's out of her gourd. She's also pretty dangerous by using her Vampire deck.
* MonsterClown: She's a cannibal, and she dresses like she was the [[{{Franchise/Batman}} Joker]]'s long-lost sister. This adds to her overall feel of danger as well.
* NotInThisForYourRevolution: Unike the other members of Kiara's group, Run Ru isn't really interested in Hakuno, the Regalia or anything else. She just wants to take bites out of people.
* {{Sadist}}: Takes some great pleasure in hurting Yusaku something fierce. When he's smacked up against an electric fence, she's outright screaming in glee and wants to eat him then and there.
* ShoutOut: Her attire is pretty similar to the mascot of the [=McDonald=]'s food chain. Hakuno even notes in ''Extra'' when they face off.
* TragicMonster: She's certifiably insane, but that's just because of her own disorder.

* HistoricalVillainUpgrade: As ''Fate/Apocrypha'' showed, Vlad's summoning is dependent on specifically '''where''' he's summoned. If he's summoned anywhere outside of Wallachia, the end result is the blood-soaked Lancer that our psycho clown has. The reason for this was because of Bram Stoker's novel "Dracula" tainting Vlad's legend, and in turn, affecting people's perception of him. To everyone outside of Wallachia, Vlad Tepes was the template for Dracula, and was therefore seen as a vampire himself.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: He did not earn his nickname "The Impaler" for nothing.
* KnightTemplar: When he was still alive, Vlad impaled not only the noblemen who he believed were destabilizing Wallachia, he also impaled countless Turkish soldiers to discourage them from invading the Christian kingdoms.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: His eyes are bloody red, and if you aren't careful, you will find yourself on the other end of his spear.
* ReligiousBruiser: He was a devout Christian in life, and still remains as such. And you had better believe that he brings the pain in a fight.

As a Servant, Elizabeth is cruel, but developed a childish desire. She wished to become an Idol -- a star that was beloved by everyone, just as she once was in life. Kiara would surely grant her wish, if she helped her obtain the Regalia from Hakuno Kishinami, she could truly become a star!

But first...she had to get rid of Aoi Zaizen.

* ActuallyADoombot: The reason why Elizabeth is able to Duel, when she should be a Duel Monster like the other Servants. [[spoiler:She's a Cyber Frame crafted to house one half of her Assassin counterpart, as well as her older historical version Carmilla]].
* AdaptationalVillainy: This version of Elizabeth lacks the one from ''CCC'''s CharacterDevelopment, shown by the fact that she mercilessly tears into Aoi and comes dangerously close to actually killing her in their duel by tampering with the arena settings so her opponent takes more damage than what LINK VRAINS would normally allow. [[spoiler:This may be due to her being one-half of Carmilla.]]
* AttentionWhore: ''Oh boy, is she ever''. Practically her whole motivation for joining Kiara is to more or less become an idol singer so that everyone will pay attention to her.
* AintTooProudToBeg: When it becomes clear that Aoi's about to defeat her, she panics and pleads with her not to deal the final blow. Having been nearly killed and with her pride hurt, Aoi isn't having any of it and delivers the final blow in thier Duel.
* AmbiguousSituation: She has some sort of connection to [[spoiler:HAKUNO Kishinami]], but it isn't explored. It is implied that she developed a good relationship with him, similar to her CharacterDevelopment from ''CCC'' and sheds a tear when she feels that he's finally succumbed to his wounds, tearfully calling him a [[spoiler:"stupid pig"]]. The truth of their relationship is shown in Chapter 20, where [[spoiler:Elizabeth, actually Carmilla, was the first Servant to be contracted by HAKUNO Kishinami]].
* AnimalMotifs: Dragons. Makes sense, since she's descendant from one.
* BerserkButton: She ''despises'' being touched. [[spoiler:The only person she would allow to touch her was HAKUNO Kishinami]].
* BewareTheSillyOnes: She may act all ditzy and cutesy, but she can equally as cruel and merciless if you're unlucky enough to earn her ire for whatever reason. [[spoiler:She drops all "silly" pretenses when she reveals herself as the Assassin-class Servant, Carmilla]].
* BladeOnAStick: Her weapon of choice is a spear, which is natural since she's a Lancer-class Servant.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: Thanks to her upbringing and mental illness, she just couldn't understand why it was such a big deal that she was killing peasants and draining them of their blood in the hope of preserving her youth.
* CuteButCacophonic: She has a wonderful singing voice...on the rare occasion. When she sings anything other than maybe soft humming, she's utterly ''atrocious''. On the flip side, however, she can weaponize her voice. This is pretty much the only reason she's got a good voice at all, to be honest.
* DarkIsEvil: As [[spoiler:Carmilla]], she most certainly is.
* GracefulLoser: [[spoiler:She takes her defeat surprisingly well, despite becoming enraged at Go's initial attack]].
* HatesBeingTouched: Her BerserkButton as [[spoiler:Carmilla]]. By her own words, she only allowed one person to touch her.
* HollywoodToneDeaf: She has a wonderful singing voice, but her musical talent ranks right up there with ''Nero''. She is THAT bad.

* NotInThisForYourRevolution: While she's all for helping Kiara gain control of all the Moon Cells, her ultimate goal is to become an Idol. She has that chance in LINK VRAINS and challenges Aoi for the purpose of taking her place.
* OurDragonsAreDifferent: In life, she was believed to have mixed her blood with that of a dragon, and her family crest is modeled after one. As a Servant, she possesses the Innocent Monster skill, which gives is why she has dragonic features.

In her quest to find Hakuno Kishinami Zaizen, the holder of this unique Regalia, she's apparently conquered several different parallel dimensions, including Rin Tohsaka's. While her goal is still the same as her CCC counterpart, this Kiara has done more than a few horrible things to accomplish her goal.
* AlternateSelf: This version of Kiara is more in line with her ''Fate/Grand Order'' incarnation than her ''CCC'' portrayal, evident by the fact that she has Zepar, the catalyst behind her transformation into Beast III in the former game. * MadLove: As explained in ''Fate/Grand Order'', all Beasts share a powerful, yet destructive love for mankind. Kiara herself is no exception.
* MeaningfulName: The "Spiritron" support archetype Kiara uses to back-up her "Mara" monsters are in reference to the selfsame Spiritrons utilized by Spirit Hackers - the building blocks of a person's soul.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: Kiara breaking down the walls between realities is the reason Gilgamesh was able to show up to assist Hakuno, when he normally would have been trapped on the Far Side of the Moon Cell.
* NoSell: As Beast III -- Demon King Rapture. Her effects make it clear that, unless Hakuno has a Link 8 monster at her disposal or uses Spells and Traps to deal damage instead, ''nothing she can throw at Kiara will work''. This becomes subverted by Revolver, whose assistance proves vital in defeating her, and her NoSell armor is shot to hell thanks to Hakuno summoning Gilgamesh.
* OhCrap: The ''second'' Revolver gets involved in the duel, she starts having trouble. And just when she thinks she manages to get back control in the duel, Hakuno effectively pulls one over her by summoning Gilgamesh and taking her apart.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: She hasn't actively involved herself in her attempts to capture Hakuno and obtain the Regalia, instead leaving the matter to Julius and BB. She does become involved when she has Julius feed his blood to Zepar, which in turn causes it to spread throughout LINK VRAINS and begin merging the virtual world with reality. It isn't until the final duel that she battles Hakuno, and more than proves a match for her.
* ReligiousAndMythologicalThemeNaming: Kiara uses the "Mara" archetype. If you're familiar with Buddhist mythology, Mara is the name of a demon that embodies temptation, even at one point trying to tempt Buddha himself.
* SmugSuper: Was extremely confident that with her being a Link 8 monster who could not be destroyed in battle unless the opponent was equal, she was untouchable. Revolver showed that it is possible to get around that, and Gilgamesh was able to outright shut her down.
* VillainousBreakdown: She starts having a panic attack when Hakuno summons Gilgamesh, and for good reason.
* WhenTreesAttack: When Kiara begins her assault on LINK VRAINS, she spreads demonic tree roots all over the datascape. The latter is ESPECIALLY jarring, in that Dead Faces cannot feel any positive emotions and despise everyone, without exception. The Duel overall makes it uncertain as to whether or not Julius is a Dead Face, or he's just consumed by his own hate for Hakuno that he's become something very close.
