He's also willing to pass out patient records for large sums of money as shown in "Bad Hair Day". He is shown having a lot of fancy stuff like a pet pink elephant and a submarine as well.

* BollywoodNerd: Implied to be Indian. Zigzagged because he's not very bright, and probably not a legitimate doctor either.

A guy of implied Chinese descent that makes small cameos in episodes where he almost runs into Courage (usually in his car) and says his catchphrase.

* AllThereInTheScript: He's never referred to by name, though his name is known.
* AristocratsAreEvil: Although he doesn't look like royalty, apparently his aunt is a Chinese empress (or at least has a claim to the throne). Di Lung and his aunt are definitely both evil though.
* AscendedExtra: Went from being a background character to an occasional antagonist.
* AsianAndNerdy: He's Chinese-American, and a genius scientist.
* AsianRudeness: He speaks with a Chinese accent and loves to hurl insults at people.
* AsianSpeekeeEngrish: He can speak English okay for the most part, but his grammar is kinda off.
* AwesomeMcCoolName: His name in English means "Big Dragon".
* BrainyBrunette: Has dark hair and is seemingly very smart, able to invent serums which transform people into animals, as well as a robot dog which can outperform a regular dog in practically every way.
* BreakoutVillain: He was popular enough with the fans to get a few major roles in episodes.

* EvilGenius: He is very competent in robotics and also dabbles in alchemy and the occult, being capable of not only creating shapeshifting potions, but also knowing how to use the dark arts in a case of PoweredByAForsakenChild, to sacrifice the bones of a pure person (Muriel) to reclaim his diabolical aunt's power.
* FunnyForeigner: As blatantly stereotypical as he is, the way Di Lung speaks with his thick Chinese accent (and sometimes [[{{Engrish}} imperfect English]]) is used as a source of humor.
* HypocriticalHumor: Despite his catch phrase [[NeverMyFault he's just as likely to be the one not paying attention]], [[IWasJustPassingThrough or whoever he says it to didn't have a choice in the matter]]. Sometimes he even puts himself in harm's way (for example, one time he stood in the middle of the street before getting hit by a truck). [[JerkassHasAPoint Even Eustace sort of points this out]] [[BorrowedCatchphrase by using the catch phrase himself]].
* InkSuitActor: He is modeled after Tim Chi Ly (the guy who did his voice).

* NoodlePeople: Very long and thin body.
* RecurringExtra: He would often pop up very briefly to utter his catchphrase. He was essentially an extra until about halfway through the series, when he became more active in the plot.
* RedRightHand: For some doubtlessly bizarre reason, he gave himself a sixth toe on his left foot.
* RepeatingSoTheAudienceCanHear: Whenever the Evil Empress says something in Chinese, he reiterates it in English.
* SinisterShades: A sinister person who always wears glasses, and at times he has sinister plans.
* SmallNameBigEgo: He is over-confident in his talents to the point that he calls himself "perfect".
* SmarterThanYouLook: He's actually quite smart when you think that he was able to build things like Mecha-Courage or create magic potions (even if at first he failed at making what he wanted: a water buffalo). He was also a former student of the "Perfect" Teacher.
* TheSociopath: He has absolutely no moral qualms. He can hurt a dog out of sadism, or horribly kill an old lady out of a desire for power, even if said power is for someone else. If he wasn't used as a background character most of the time, he would take more credit as one of the show's evilest villains.
* TotallyRadical: He may be an {{Asian|AndNerdy}} MadScientist, though you probably wouldn't know that at first, because of his casual clothing, irreverent attitude, and use of street slang.
* TriangleShades: As seen in the image, his sunglasses have triangular lenses.
* VerbalTic: Has a habit of adding "[[YouFool ya fool']]" to the end of certain catchphrases.
