* LittleSisterHeroine: Somewhat, because she's not actually Ragna's little sister but rather [[CloningBlues a clone of her]]. But still, everything else about the trope is played straight. Its heavily implied she has a crush on him, and even if she doesn't, she looks up to him like an actual older brother and the normally withdrawn and antisocial Ragna is fiercely protective of her. Their relationship is a major focus of the series at that.

* {{Adorkable}}: Noel is shy, reserved, and struggles to keep control over her emotions. Noel is extremely self-conscious, especially regarding her notoriously flat chest. She can be socially awkward at times, but this has actually served as an endearing trait, which earned her Tsubaki and Makoto’s friendship. Because of how shy she is, Noel shops online and attempts to hide away from others. She can become easily flustered at the slightest of remarks. The former Lieutenant regularly writes poems, although she never shows them to anyone out of sheer embarrassment. Noel also has a weakness for things she deems cute or fluffy, such as Lao Jiu or Makoto's tail.

* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: ''Kusanagi the Godslaying Sword/Sword of the Godslayer''. Additionally, "Mu" can mean the twelfth letter of the Greek alphabet (μ) or the original state of nothingness in Japanese.

* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Girly Girl to Makoto's Tomboy. Noel is a {{sh|rinkingViolet}}y, clumsy {{Moe}} girl that's obsessed with cute animals and writes poems about true love, and Makoto is a [[GenkiGirl energetic,]] childish BoisterousBruiser. Both are BadassAdorable in their own right.

* ObliviouslyBeautiful: Because of her low self esteem and ACupAngst, Noel doesn't seem to realize how beautiful she is and acts either surprised or confused when her looks are complimented by other characters. But she is beautiful enough to have [[MsFanservice Litchi]] compliment her on her looks and even [[HandsomeLech Kagura]] shows a noticeable amount of concern and attraction to her. Not to mention all her MsFanservice official artwork.

* GunKata: To such an extent that many of her moves were actually modeled after stances and attacks used by the warrior-priests of ''Film/{{Equilibrium}}'', which was stated during the ''[=BlazBlue=] x VideoGame/GuiltyGear'' panel at AX 2009. This is most obvious during her Astral Heat, which goes through the kata seen practiced in the movie, including the finishing pose holding the backs of the guns towards one another.

* DontLookAtMe: * In ''VideoGame/BlazBlueChronoPhantasma'', when Noel faces off against Ragna [[spoiler:in the form of [[{{Stripperific}} Mu-12]]]] she yells at him not to stare at her. He insists that he's not.

* CompressedHair: Her long hair is usually kept up in a beret, somehow. As mentioned elsewhere, this is an easy trick to do with braids, but her victory poses show a single pin keeping it bundled under there somehow.

* PersonOfMassDestruction: Her Astral calls down several ''skyscraper sized blades'' to decimate both her opponent and the surrounding area. In story, Hakumen at 30-40% of his power couldn't do any lasting damage to her (which is more than what anyone else can claim), [[{{CurbStompBattle}} effortlessly defeated]] Jin after he spent ''Continuum Shift'' [[{{TookALevelInBadass}} recovering and getting even stronger]], and it took Ragna after he gained the Idea Engine to defeat her.

** [[spoiler: While not as bad as Jin, Noel's [[ShrinkingViolet personality]] also greatly annoyed Ragna at first. Best shown after the two managed to leave the collapsed interior of the NOL branch, after being constantly slowed down by Noel's slow movements and repeated clumsiness, Ragna finally snaps and abashes her, which caused her to eventually leave, stating that they'll be enemies next time they meet. This is averted after his CharacteerDevelopment where Ragna develops a major BigBrotherInstinct towards Noel.]]
