While Lambda is shown to be developing emotions and is relatively harmless, Nu on the other hand is an AxeCrazy OmnicidialManiac. [[spoiler:Despite this, she along with Lambda still takes care of Nu at the end of ''Central Fiction'' when she was left as a bedridden EmptyShell. However, ''Alternative: Dark War'' shows that their care for Nu actually did succeed in making her more of a normal person along with her genuinely seeing the two as her sisters.]].

* ShrinkingViolet: "[[AllThereInTheManual Likes: shopping over the Internet (so that she doesn't have to talk to people).]]" Noel is the definition of this archetype. She is shy, clumsy, and tends to get worked up over the smallest things. She initially had great difficulty with socialising with other people, only being able to communicate because of Bolverk's ability to suppress emotions. In time, she eventually learned to interact with others, being polite, helpful, yet reserved.

* * SignificantBirthDate: She was born on Christmas Day, befitting of her kind nature. ''Alternative: Dark War'' even gave her a special Christmas-themed outfit for its holiday event.

* LethalChef: Despite cooking being her hobby along with knowing how to do so, she is an atrocious cook, whose dishes always end up as dark rainbow-colored sludges. Also not helping the matter is her lack of taste and rule to ''never'' taste test it herself. To explain just how foul it is: ''Remix Heart'' revealed that her cooking was used as a ''penalty'', with an [[FinishingMove ASTRAL FINISH]] icon on top of a pile of half-dead students, and in her ''CS'' Gag Ending, Bang '''EXPLODES''' after taking a bite with nearly the entire roster. The only ones that actually enjoy her cooking are Mai, who only tastes Noel's love in it, and Hazama, who is somehow the SoleSurvivor of her ''CS'' Gag Ending.

* LettingHerHairDown: In certain scenes in the first and second game, she takes off her beret, letting her (surprisingly long) hair down. In ''CP'' she goes like this by default.

* MeaningfulName: She was born on Christmas Day.

* ImageSong: Her voice actress sings a vocal version of her theme "Bullet Dance" called "Love so Blue ~Blue Heartbeats~". [[spoiler:She also speaks as both Noel and Nu during the song after the 2nd verse.]]

* LadyLooksLikeADude: [[AvertedTrope Not really]] as she clearly looks like a girl, but there has been two cases where she has been confuded for a boy and both cases ended with her [[BerserkButton attacking who did it]].

* LethalChef: On full display in her Joke ending in ''Continuum Shift''; Everyone but Hazama ends up throwing up when she has to take over as chef for a restaurant. Probably because she has [[AllThereInTheManual no sense of taste]]. [[spoiler:She also inherits this from Saya.]] Sadly, she enjoys cooking a great deal. She also mentions that she never tastes her cooking as a rule.

** To explain just how foul Noel's cooking is: In the manga it is revealed that her cooking was used as a ''penalty'', with an [[FinishingMove ASTRAL FINISH]] icon on top of a pile of half-dead students, and in her CS Gag Ending, Bang '''EXPLODES''' after taking a bite.
** She seems to actually know how to cook well, as the manga has her make good comments how to make Kirihito's proposed medicinal porridge taste better. It's just that she has the baffling ability to turn good food into lethal sludge that can knock people out.

* LikeBrotherAndSister: With Ragna, just listen to any match between them throwing childish insults at each other. Noel even says that talking with Ragna feels like she's talking with a family member. It kind of helps that being a clone of Saya [[spoiler: and having part of her soul]], technically makes them siblings as well.

* CloningBlues: She's one of three clones of Saya, Ragna & Jin's little sister and the one that resembles her the most, in both looks and personality. Naturally this causes one hell of a FreakOut from her when she finds out, but she gets over her angst when she learns ClonesArePeopleToo, see CharacterDevelopment above.

* LittleSisterHeroine: Somewhat, because she's not actually [[spoiler: Ragna's little sister but rather [[CloningBlues a clone of her]]. But still, everything else about the trope is played straight. Its heavily implied she has a crush on him, and even if she doesn't, she looks up to him like an actual older brother and the normally withdrawn and antisocial Ragna is fiercely protective of her. Their relationship is a major focus of the series at that. ]]

* {{Going Commando}}/{{Vaporwear}}:It's been wondered if Noel wears anything under her skirt thanks to a Freeze-Frame Bonus that may have just been an artist oversight: during her aerial barrier block, her skirt flaps so one can see up past her hips, with no waistband in sight, which put a new angle on the fact no other sprite showed her panties. Since then, official art and other sources have gone back and forth on the issue, perhaps deliberately.

* DoesNotLikeShoes: When not wearing the actual Murakumo armour, she is simply wearing [[ZettaiRyouiki thigh-high]] toeless stockings.
