* RingsOfDeath: Wields these as her primary weapons.

* ObliviousToLove: Doesn't notice Melida's PrecociousCrush on him, in spite of how unsubtle she is about it. Mostly justified because he used to see social interaction as a mere tool to be used in missions, and bonding with other people for real is a new experience for him. Plus, she is too young for him to see her in a romantic light. [[spoiler: But that soon later changes as he's beginning to see her differently as they spend more time together through out the story. Kufa soon discovers that he had fallen for her.]]

* SternTeacher: Because Melida must make everyone believe she is a Paladin to survive, he refuses to go easy on her training even for a moment. While he can be kind and encouraging to Melida in their free time, GoodIsNotNice is in full effect when it's time for a lesson.

* LadyAndKnight: As the daughter of the duke of the Angel family, she is a bright lady because of how kind she is and her desire to become the "sword of hope for the people". Kufa is her Black Knight, a cold and pragmatic individual who will do whatever is necessary to ensure her survival and train her into a battle maiden worthy of her family name.

* ParentalNeglect: Her father has distanced himself from her as much as possible, due to the possibility of her not being his real daughter. When she achieves her first victory as a Mana user, all her father has to say is to not be satisfied with such a small achievement. And Kufa thought this was an ''improvement'' in their relationship, because Felgus acknowledged his daughter existed and had achieved something. [[spoiler: he admitted that it was hard for him to be close to her because he still misses his loving wife, Melonia, and was afraid to love her child who may or may not be his. But it somewhat averted as Fergus was secretly watching over Melida.]]

* WellDoneSonGuy: Her mother died young, and her father coldly kicked her out due to her lack of mana. She desperately wishes to win back his approval, but he has made it clear that it will not be easy and has been [[ParentalNeglect ignoring her as much as possible]].
