Should we create JustForFun.Work Name Injokes?
Edited by Mickoonsley19I agree that most subpages except for Quotes, Playing With, and Image Links would make more sense under Work Name Injokes.
I've created [Work Name] Injokes. I'll add it to the top of the "General" folder since the link here doesn't work.
I finished moving all the work-specific subpages to Work Name Injokes, and cutlisted them.
Discussion with a broken external link because the TV Tropes admins still haven't gotten around to fixing that bug.
Complaint about Work You Have Never Heard Of not being on the page already.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Declaration of pulling natter:
- Mildly unclear example from Work I Am Not Familiar With
- Actually, correction!
- Fuck you.
- Actually, correction!
Statement of exasperation at not being familiar with the work and inability to correct it personally.

Notification that I just spotted a YMMV Trope on this page, but should probably have just removed the mention altogether using powers I already have, rather than just bothering the admins needlessly.
Beware of occasional bad attitude. I do Fanfics on deviantART. Witness me make a mockery out of myself there, too. Hide / Show RepliesBelated response telling you that yes, you can delete it... even though it was done a long time ago anyway.
Wouldn't this page be easier to read if it were sorted into folders, like a real TV Tropes article?
Hide / Show RepliesYes, this one's way too long to be read well in non-folder mode.

Reasoning for pulling this entry from the main page, and suspicion that it's an Unpublished Work despite clear sourcing.
- Example from a webcomic that was updated earlier today or an episode that just aired which you wanted to add as well. Making you wonder what other people do with their lives.
Demand to cutlist the trope or at least banish it to Sugar Wiki because it is too whimsical and unbecoming, followed by a minor rant that troping is Serious Business and humor has no place here. Ends with a demand that if it isn't going to get deleted or hidden, to at least change the name to something less fun.
Hide / Show RepliesComplaint in response to the above troper. Accusation of above troper being a Stop Having Fun Guy.
Edited by ReikoKazama FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fire Emblem: The Blazing BladeA suggestion to change the name of the page to Self Explanatory Generic Trope Name, in a desperate attempt to prevent the page from being sent to Sugar Wiki or cutlisted, placed by someone who never looked at how old the above comments were.
My tropes launched: https://surenity2.blogspot.com/2021/02/my-tropes-on-tv-tropes.htmlInquiry as to where the discussion went, due to the change of Namespace.
Hide / Show RepliesMild annoyance at the mover of the page forgetting to holler for it, and a notice that it should be fixed soon.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Comment about how stupid the new name for this trope is and that there was no reason to change the old one.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Heated argument between two opposing shippers who each think they're being completely objective in their character interpretations.
Hide / Show RepliesAnnoyed response about how the shippers have nothing better to do with their time.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Comment actually pertinent to the trope page that's been buried beneath the novel's-worth of text that makes up the heated shippers' argument.
Edited by ZellThe5thLargely nonsensical response to pertinent comment that contains several baffling suggestions and is written in only a loose approximation of the English language.
Heated demand that shippers take their petty arguments elsewhere, if not disappear totally; loud declaration that non-shippers are better than shippers on the basis that they never get involved in petty arguments and are totally self-aware, unlike those idiots.
Why, Mr. Spock! You almost make me believe in miracles!Complaint against the shoe-horning of how the trope is used in Anime and Manga on the main page.
My tropes launched: https://surenity2.blogspot.com/2021/02/my-tropes-on-tv-tropes.html Hide / Show RepliesPassionate defense of said shoe-horning, attempting to justify it as showing that this trope is used ever-so-slightly differently in Japan than it is in the West.

Actually a girl.re:Cut
Thought process behind decision to not cut page, described in an elaborate manner, detailing positive and negative aspects of the current format of the page, comparisons to other similar tropes, a short catalogue of similar decisions and an admonishment of an overeagerness to use the Cut List before making a forum thread.
Hide / Show RepliesOpinion from a guy who didn't bother to even check the timestamps or discussion link and thus doesn't know that, in fact, the matter has already been resolved for months.
Another belated reply caused by an unnecessary reopening of an old discussion, countering the opinion of the above poster.
My tropes launched: https://surenity2.blogspot.com/2021/02/my-tropes-on-tv-tropes.htmlCompletely new topic that is entered as a reply instead of a new topic because someone clicked on the first button they saw.
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.Reply to "new" topic by previous post, due to not understanding how the system works.
Edited by Kastorr I don't even know.Reply to original topic that also sounds like a reply to the new topic.
Edited by Kastorr I don't even know.Announcement that this troper will make any number of well-intentioned but nonetheless absurd changes to the page unless someone happens to stumble onto this discussion in time to tell me not to.
Was, is, and always will be in a passionate love affair with the semicolon. Hide / Show RepliesReply indicating that it's totally okay to proceed with absurd editing plan, due to This Troper having little-to-no experience with wiki etiquette.

Edited by Telcontar Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)A commend indicating that another stinger was added that fits more closely to the page's style.
I don't even know.Serious Business/Completely Missing The Point post. Guys, the discussion section is for discussing the main page, not random meta comments that go nowhere. :-/
Edited by ProgenyExMachina Hide / Show RepliesResponse referencing the "Stop Having Fun" Guys nature of the comment being responded to.
Response with major holier-than-thou attitude. Complete misinterpretation of the rules of the site and/or citation of rules that don't actually exist.
Complaint that this article is the most poorly-edited page on the entire website, invoking blatant hyperbole but showing no incentive to repair the page.
Insinuation that everyone but this troper is lazy for not having fixed this already, likely in the form of an ultimatum!
Rant or misplaced review that has nothing to do with the trope, any tropes like it, or even the TV Tropes website itself, written by an unknown Troper.
Link to the Image Pickin' forum claiming that the trope image is Just A Face And A Caption and needs to be changed. The suggested replacement image will invariably be from a show being entry pimped by the OP (and may or may not illustrate the trope better).
Mr Death: Response to above, mistakenly put in by editing previous troper's post rather than hitting Reply.

OOC: I noticed that this page has gotten a bunch of new subpages in other namespaces that parody all kinds of TV Tropes articles. However, while this page spoofs a typical trope article (with examples of any particular trope across media), we still don't have a page which spoofs an article about a work of media (listing every trope that appears in this story). Does anyone have any ideas about making such a page? What namespace would it go in?
