Actually, I think this guy would play an adult Negi.
No, that declaration is most definitely not driven by Author Appeal, why would you even begin to think that?
... It would've helped if the video actually included samples of the guy's voice. All I'm hearing is utterly silly music... and what I'm seeing makes me seriously doubt his credentials.

You failed to Beware the Silly Ones, Marq? I am quite simply shocked.
But in all honesty, if Negi - or "Nagi", as it were - were a pro wrestler, what kind of Finishing Move d'ya think he'd have? Would it be some form of leaping attack from the top turnbuckle (Leg/Elbow Drop, Frog Splash, etc.)?
A pinpoint-accurate strike For Massive Damage (Sweet Chin Music/Bomaye)?
A submission move, like the Sharpshooter?
I mean, not to call him "weak", but he really doesn't seem the type to have a power-centric slam type of move like the Attitude Adjustment or a Suplex Finisher.
I ask, of course, because I've got in mind a Negima/WWE crossover - and as far as Negima ideas go, I think I might actually be able to get some long-term mileage out of this one!
It's the story of Negi Springfield, who on graduation from his magic academy, was told by the spirits that his final test as a mage... is to go to America and become a WWE Superstar.
With legions of manly (and not-so-manly) adversaries just waiting to slam him into the mat, will Negi prevail?! Christ, will he even be able to get his foot in the damn door, and if he does, can this consummate Nice Guy even survive in the Ruthless Aggression era?!
Can this magical boy prodigy-turned-wrestling stage magician (because I literally just came off of watching Now You See Me, so of course I feel compelled to add that in there somehow) ascend through the ranks of Monday Night RAW (or WWE SmackDown!) to become the WWE Champion and in doing so, finally meet his parents?!
.......well, yeah, he can probably do at least some of that or there wouldn't be much of a story, but it's all about the drama, man!

Haven't we warned you about taking drugs? Especially any crack from Magey?
Madman with a box? I'm a madman with a semi, a pretzel bender and a Heart of Gold! It's not a crack fic, and I've actually had to put a lot of serious thought into this.
I mean, one of the main attractions behind the idea is that it saves me from having to juggle MSN's Loads And Loads Of Characters. And while it's true that in doing so I'm just bringing in the also very huge WWE cast, the difference in premise means I have to deal with fewer characters at a time. If you want to attribute that distinction to some bizarre neurosis of mine, go right ahead.
Secondly, the question was brought up (by myself, to myself) about how in the hell Negi would ever be able to meet his actual goal of learning about his father and/or mother if he's constantly on the road in WWE. Natural answer is, one of the other wrestlers knows something, probably someone like Kane or The Undertaker. Negi eventually finds out they know something, and if he wants the information out of them, he's going to have to prove that he's worth their time.
.....and also, this more-or-less lets me cut out the looming specter of the Magic World arc (or at least huge swathes of it that involve the 3-A cast), which - while fun to read - has usually proven intimidating enough that the prospect of eventually having to tackle it eventually convinces me to just drop the fic.
...............also, you never answered the question on what kind of finisher you think Negi would have.
Because we're not even remotely considering the idea of Negi becoming a professional wrestler. Seriously, lay off whatever you're on, take a nap and then stop to think about how much off the rails this notion throws us off.
I'm sorry, but you're the only one who's thinking about this and while I admire your enthusiasm for it, that's not gonna be enough. And if we'd want drama out of professional wrestling, we'd actually go watch professional wrestling.
Sorry, but no.
That's hardly an excuse Kurush. We've all seen sillier ideas. Not to mention worse ideas. Such as most anything found in a Naruto fanfic.
As for a finisher, it depends on the time the fic is set in. It would be a good idea to avoid copying someone else's finisher.
But if Eddie Guerrero is dead in that universe, then how about a Frog Splash? Negi isn't exactly build like John Cena and them.
Madman with a box? I'm a madman with a semi, a pretzel bender and a Heart of Gold! You're sorely wrong on the "you're the only one thinking about this" part, because I too am/have been entertaining the idea of "Negima + Pro Wrestling", though without any specific relation to real-life pro wrestling. I'm just drawing blanks on what Eva is asking about for the time being; got so much on my hands right now, I can barely keep up with my thread watchlist.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Anyway, I'd go with a pinpoint strike for Negi's finisher. Being a clever little bastard is kind of his thing, after all.
Also, it occurs to me that Chao is the one 3-A student who might be hanging around the WWE in this timeline, given her mysterious time-travely agendas.
Why does everyone always blame me for other people's weird ideas? I'll have you know my crack ideas are QUALITY crack! If I HAD given Unit my stuff, he wouldn't have come up with such a blasphemously nasty thing!
It would have been a Negima + Women's Wrestling thing.
The new Power Rangers movie is surprisingly hard to think of crossover ideas for. A Dresden Files crossover would have been pretty good, but there aren't enough named teenaged characters in that series that aren't Carpenters. The Riordan-verse would work, but everyone is already stupid overpowered, so I'd have to resort to OC demigods, make the canon rangers demigods, or make a silly 'Rangers Meets Demigods' thing, which ugh.
In a Negima crossover they'd lose thier powers practically instantly since no one would be able to keep their identities secret, unless I do something equally silly like have the entire class present when they find Zordon...
Then there are the parallel world options, like having the power coins be in Alera, Halkegenia, Kono Suba, etc...
So far, the most 'maybe?' idea I've had is Power Rangers/Animorphs, where, similar to 2814, the Animorphs find the coins before they run into Elfangor.
But I'm on a SAO kick right now...
...
...?
...!
Hmm... An SAO/Negima cossover where the Negimaverse is the virtual world they're trapped in? The starting location is Mahora, and as they defeat bosses they open portals to other locations, culminating in a battle with Lifemaker Kayaba?
You talking about Halkegenia and SAO in the same post reminded me that Halkegenia Online exists.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. No point. It hasn't updated in a while.
Magey, I blame you for a lot of things: Sunspots, the situation in Sudan, and our more insane ideas.
Although a Negima/Women's Wrestling crossover might be interesting. Negi managing a small group of inexperienced, yet talented wrestlers making their way across various cities as a flimsy excuse to find his father.
Along the way they face several trials: Their first rivals, the Black Lillies, then Chao Lingshen making a FaceāHeel Turn in an effort to discourage the newly formed group, only to strengthen their bonds. After that, Ala Alba go to the Magical World, with Yue's paperwork 'mistakenly' transferring her to the Aradne Worldwide Wrestling, then squaring off against Fate and his wrestlers, finally culminating in a Battle Royale against Nagi and Ala Rubra tag team match against Jackie Rakan and Allie Imma.
...
It's too early in the day for me to be this weird isn't it?

Madman with a box? I'm a madman with a semi, a pretzel bender and a Heart of Gold!Yes, but this time around, I'm blaming Eva-kun. And I'm not sold on this idea to begin with.
One acquaintance into professional was bad enough, thank you very much.
Just looked at the listings of fanfiction threads. Is it wrong of me to be smugly proud of the fact our thread has the most number of posts by an insanely huge margin? Even the ponies have less than half of our post count.
On that thought, proposing a random idea: Horror Negima, where every student is some kind of horror/cosmic horror/psychological horror trope/movie played straight. Sayo is not some ineffectual friendly ghost, she's a classic Japanese horror movie ghost, a relentless, vengeful engine of hatred against the living bound to the confines of the school. Evangeline, magic weakened and trapped as she is, is still a vampire, a bloodsucking abomination who must nightly feast on the blood of the living. Chachamaru is a Zero-th Law compliant killing machine currently barely restrained to a single body, and Chao and Hakase are her amoral, depraved creators who don't care what she does, THEY'VE SHOWN THEM, THEY'VE SHOWN THEM ALL, BWAHAHAHAHA! Satsuki serves long pig in the Chao Bao Zhi. Asakura is basically Robin Williams in One Hour Photo, only not played by Robin Williams. Chizuru is a busty version of It (2017), Setsuna is a violent yandere hanyou stalker played completely straight, the school authorizes are corrupt enough to make the most die-hard Dumbledore basher go "Oh, I say, that's going too far and unrealistic!", etc...
And in walks Negi, who is exactly the same as his chapter 1 canon self. Yeah, it's basically going to be a complete horror fic that's essentially 'The Many Horror Movie Deaths Of Negi Springfield'.
Does Negi remember his deaths?
I was thinking 'no'. It's a horror themed story. Negi is only the Final Girl in the sense he always dies last.
We've coddled him enough. BRING ON THE PAIN!
But you said many deaths. Is this going to be like Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni?
More like each chapter is a new story, and it's a different girl whose horror movie he's in. Kinda like American Horror Story.
Does he die in every one?
Or suffer a fate worse than death.
If they're all that evil and powerful, any sort of peaceful coexistence over any long period of time (and with long I mean past a week in this case) is going to be impossible.
Like, they keep Sakura Lane brightly lit at night, but if you go in alone and Eva is nearby, they instantly kill the lights and dispose of the corpse before morning.
Was it ever implied that Chao had surveillance on the six love confession outposts at any time during the School Festival? And if she was preoccupied during the Tournament, could she have hired Asakura and Mana to act as surveillance for at least two of the outposts? Finally, could one theoretically reach all six outposts within the span of half a day?
