Allow me to be completely honest here when I say you're hyperfocus on "political correctness" and "tumblrisms" and your general neoliberal politics gets on my nerves.

Other than that I like your taste in media (except your music taste - mostly prog and classic rock drivel. Listen to some fucken punk, my dude, or some reggae). O Brother Where Art Thou is a favourite film of mine, too.

Also someone I'd recommend Black Books to, you might just enjoy it.

Gotta agree with your point on patriotism. No one should be unwaveringly proud of their country. There's a reason I view history as a Gray-and-Gray Morality standpoint.

I really like your statement about Memetic Mutation. Also, Medjed is my new favorite mythical character.

I also think your theory about Phantom is really interesting... but I don't think Cranky could have written the whole song. Phantom specifically uses his own name at one point, and I don't think Cranky would say things like "I'll 'high C' you to death".

And I don't know, if there's any Link I'd see being The Ditz, it'd be the one from Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass. ALttP Link seems like more of a Nice Guy who'd prefer to just hang out if the world didn't need saving, as evidenced by his true form being a pink bunny.

The script entrance is a nice touch. I also like that avatar (even if you didn't make it, which you might not have, it's a good choice).

Though the "Oh, hi, Didn't See You There" is a bit cheesy.

I love your works list! I didn't know you were a fan of so many classic novels. I especially love Frankenstein.

Ooh, a Nightmare Before Christmas headcanon! Nice. I didn't think the Easter Bunny died either, because that would be a whole other set of problems that Jack would technically be responsible for, and thus have to fix in his "only makes things worse" way.

My current avatar is indeed Alphonse Elric! He's the younger one, by the way. Thankfully, you're not within fifteen feet of his older brother. He gets... Super pissed if you mistake him as the younger brothet, as part of that originated due to height problems.

The Pogues! And Horrible Histories! And O Brother, Where Art Thou? I haven't seen a lot of tropers who are fans of those things.

I can relate on having an outdated troper page. Came back here after just a few months on Reddit and Tumblr, and all of a sudden my page makes me look sort of angry/self-pitying/full of myself. I don't think I meant it all like that, but some "wry jokes" don't look like jokes and some other things I phrased wrong too. Maybe I'm comparing it too much to pages like Dr No Puma's, though (his amiability just shines out of the screen).

Looks fine to me. Not the flashiest page around, but it doesn't make you look any more narcissistic than most troper pages do. Also, interesting to know I'm not the only one with siblings on this site.
