Don't see anything wrong here. Tali and Isaac are accepted.
Though, with Stasis, is the thing's momentum nixed when it's frozen, or is it just stuck in place and then it's back to normal, speed and all?
Stasis slows things down until they are almost stuck in place but once the effect is over they continue moving as they originally were.

It's me again!!!
- Name: Niko
- Age: Unspecified; around 8 years old.
- Appearance: N-nice to meet you, Player!◊
- Universe: One Shot
- Personality: Niko is a sweet, polite kid who's constantly curious about the world around them. They didn't ask to save the world, but in a position where everyone refers to them as the Messiah, they try their best to complete their mission and make everyone happy. Niko can get along without complaining for a long time, but eventually, the pressures get to be too much and they break down in tears. They don't like making big decisions and prefer to have someone else to help them. Niko gets annoyed if you refer to them as a cat...cats have four legs, and they don't! Their favorite food is pancakes.
- Backstory: Niko was a normal child living with their mama on an unnamed world that is not Earth. Apparently, they lived in a village surrounded by wheat fields◊,* and lots of people have luminous catlike eyes just like Niko. Then Niko was transported to a different (also unnamed) world that is dying from lack of sun. Rather than being a ball of gas in the sky, the Sun is just a lightbulb in a tower that's so high no one can see the top. Niko finds the sunbulb shortly after waking up in this world, and after it lights up at their touch, Niko is hailed as the Savior and tasked with carrying the sun all the way across the dying world and to the top of the Tower, where, hopefully, the world will be saved. Niko is taken to the RP just before they enter the Tower.
- Powers & Skills:
- Cat Eyes: There's nothing particularly special about Niko, but their big yellow eyes glow in the dark. They don't have night vision, but in low light they can see fairly well.
- Metabolism: In the game, they go several days while claiming they're not hungry or thirsty (though they have to take catnaps fairly often).
- Communing with God: In OneShot, as the Messiah (i.e. the player character), Niko has the power to commune with the player of the game, who doubles as the god of the world. They're the only one who can hear God's voice in their head. Niko gradually gets attached to the Player and relies on them to make decisions for them. This power will not be in the RP because it would be pretty confusing and/or self-indulgent to implement.
- Equipment:
- Clothes: With a hat, a long scarf and a jacket with sleeves covering their hands, Niko is equipped for cold weather.
- The Sun: It takes Niko both hands to carry this basketball-sized glowing lightbulb around. Niko claims that it's not hot, only fairly warm, but it probably helps that their hands are covered. The sun doesn't do much outside of the Tower besides be warm and glow. It will go out if Niko sets it down for a while—let's say after fifteen minutes—but it will turn on again once Niko picks it up.
- Other:
- Niko's gender is never specified, much like Frisk's, so I'm going with they/them just in case.
- Verbal Tic: They say "Mhm!" a lot.
- Name: Cucumber
- Age: Unspecified; maybe 11-12.
- Appearance: There's our guy!
- Universe: Cucumber Quest
- Personality: Cucumber is a very bright, mature kid. His dream is to be one of those kind old guys who use magic spells to help people with their crops. His sister Almond thinks he's insufferably boring, but they still love each other, and Cucumber has a strong Big Brother Instinct. He's willing to fight past his timid, Non-Action Guy tendencies if it means protecting his friends and family. He hates extroverted activities like onstage acting, and he was bullied in school for his bright red hair (his hair should look like a cucumber plant, but it doesn't - it's just a weird birth defect.)
- Backstory: Cucumber was a normal boy growing up in the world of Dreamside, where everyone has rabbit ears instead of human ears and many have technicolor skin or hair...that's really all that separates them from normal humans. Cucumber was all set to attend Puffington's Academy for the Magically Gifted and/or Incredibly Wealthy when a letter arrived, warning his family that his father, who works at the king's castle, had been taken hostage, and the palace had been overtaken by a sorceress bent on awakening an ancient evil. Cucumber is hustled off to become a Legendary Hero meant to gather a bunch of MacGuffins and seek out a sword with which to defeat the ultimate evil...even though he's too meek and hands-off to be a hero type. His boisterous little sister Almond knows this, and tags along to give him some help. Along the way, Cucumber's party of heroes grows, and he alone is starting to understand that there's something not-so-sinister about the "ancient evil" they're facing. Cucumber is taken to the RP at the very beginning of Chapter 3—all this affects is his powers and equipment, listed below.
- Powers & Skills:
- A Clever Kid: Without his magic wand, this is the thing that really sets Cuco apart. He pays good attention to detail and he notices things that his battle-focused companions don't—such as this cable leading behind the curtain, Wizard of Oz-style.
- Magic!: This power is not inherent, but it comes from his magic wand. He has a few various spells, some stronger than others, and he's had experience with magic, both by studying it and by saving his friends during tight situations.
- Equipment:
- The wand: Without this he can't cast his spells.
- Playing with Fire: He can create a fireball. It doesn't do much damage.
- Bubble Head: He creates a bubble that goes over someone's head and allows them to breathe underwater.
- The Comically Oversized Bathtub Drain: Thanks to some shenanigans, Cucumber has the power to place, quote, "a comically oversized bathtub drain on any surface." Here's this glorious spell in action. It can drain lakes and make drain-shaped holes in the ground, but it's about as applicable to a situation as you'd expect. We don't exactly know where the drained water and stuff goes, but in the case of the RP, it's probably best not to think about it.
- Disaster Stones: During their adventure, Cucumber and his friends face "bosses" known as Disaster Masters. He's defeated four so far, and he has retrieved Disaster Stones from three of them. These can be inserted into his wand to provide further powers:
- Splashmaster's Stone: Similar to the fire spell above, he can create water whips and attack with them.
- Noisemaster's Stone: He creates a blast of noise that can stun smaller enemies and send them reeling back.
- Mutemaster's Stone: He can surround enemies in a gray, soundless fog, drastically slowing their movements. While in the fog, all noise is, well, muted.
- Monster Guide: He carries a book with information on monsters found in Dreamside. In the RP, it's probably totally useless.
- All of this is kept in that green pack on his back.
- The wand: Without this he can't cast his spells.
- Other: If you read Cucumber's character page, you might notice some oddball references to a magical girl transformation. This occurred because of an accidental wand swap after the point he's arriving in the RP, so this is not a power he's bringing to the game.
- Bond: The main thing that connects Niko and Cucumber is their status as a Reluctant Hero. Both of them are the protagonists of their work, but they'd rather be normal kids. Niko was forced into their situation by being transported to another universe, and Cucumber after his "weird, pushy dad" kicked him out of the house and told him to be a hero. Both of them also have people they will miss dearly in the RP: Niko's mama and Cucumber's sister Almond. Despite their initial unwillingness to be heroes, they're both kind and brave at heart and will work hard to accomplish...whatever it is their goal is until they can go home.
Not much fault with this one. Need us a couple of cute kids to balance out the badassery, after all.
Niko and Cucumber are accepted! Feel free to look over in the Discussion thread, where there's some more info on how the Bond would work, and also just to say Hi or somethin' like that.
- Name: Genji Shimada
- Age: 35
- Appearance: "A steady blade balances the soul."
- Universe: Overwatch (Shortly after the events of Dragons)
- Personality: A lover of life, a firm, tolerant believer in idealism, someone who can look his killer in the eyes and say they still have hope to be a better person, and wise when he needs be, Genji is mature past his age, both hardship and friendship granting him great personal growth. At one point he viewed his new lease on life as cursed and diseased but now the divide between his body and soul has been fixed, creating a understanding that his mechanical state brings with it special gifts. With all of this said, Genji can be equal serious, knowing when he needs to help others with blade and words, and teasing, joking and jabbing at others when the time is right. Why, sometimes he can come off kind of cocky, proclaiming to his defeated foes such facts like how the fight was easy, and time can only fade away so much of his past playboy personality. In the end, no amount of metal nor ninja training has changed Genji, a good-hearted if sometimes emotional man, a forgiving, capable hero, and a massive dork.
- Backstory:
- Born into the Shimada Clan family syndicate and criminal organization, Genji was from birth given his family wealth, power, and ninja training without any responsibilities, growing to become a carefree playboy rather a dedicated helper of his clan. This careless life would crumble at the sudden death of his father which left him and his older brother Hanzo the expected heads of the Clan. Hanzo took this role with pride but Genji didn't want to take up this burden, refusing the request from Hanzo to take more part in the family business. From this simple refusal came conflict and violence between the brothers and that breed a final fight, one which left Hanzo a killer and Genji greatly maimed.
- This wasn't the end though for Overwatch, a international military peacekeeper organization, rescued him in secret and transformed him from just a man into something more, something both flesh and steel. With his skills enhanced by this and revenge burning in his heart, Genji helped Overwatch destroy his family clan....but not even that could stem his new found feelings of self-disgust at his metal form and so he left the group that saved him so he could wander the Earth.
- This aimless travel caused him to find his teacher, best friend, and perhaps savior, Zenyatta, a Onmic monk that helped Genji to come to terms with his new existence. New found balance within him, the ninja went back to Japan to confront his brother and explain to him that he was forgiven for his actions and that he could still pick the right side.
- Powers & Skills:
- Cyborg Ninja: Genji has many years of ninja training from his upbringing and his new body has taken him to new physical heights. Enhanced speed, agility, reflexes, endurance, and strength that is far above any normal humannote , great skill with swords, shurikens, and martial arts, being able to sneak like a master ninja while having the ability to climb/run up almost any vertical surface and even capable of performing a jump in midair. A "double jump" some would say. Disadvantages do exist such as his durability not being much better than a normal human, his body being weak to hacking or any other electronic/machine harming weapon, and the problems that can happen if his parts start failing.
- Deflect: In a show of speed and reflexes Genji takes a defensive stance and starts deflecting any physical projectile fired at him with his wakizashi, even if they come at a rapid pace such as bullet barrages. Genji can be overwhelmed though so either enough projectiles, merely firing long enough, hitting him at any angle that's not his front, or just stop giving him shit to throw back can counter this.
- Swift Strike: Moving himself forward in burst of speed from ground or air, Genji likes to use this as a way to make a fast cut on a opponent or as a running away tool but it's distance is small and it's use is hard to repeat again and again.
- Dragonblade: Those with the name Shimada have with them great dragon spirits and Genji is no exception. Upon summoning his green dragon spirit it enters his katana and grants it much power, allowing it to cut through even the toughest materials with ease. This bond between ninja and dragon takes a toil on Genji and thus he can only use it for 6 seconds or about 6 slashes of his sword and he requires some time to pass before he can call upon the might of his dragon again.
- Equipment:
- Shuriken: Sharp, light, and plentiful. Genji has many, many, many of these contained inside himself and he can bring more to his hand in a second flat. Fully loaded he has 24 of them available at a moments notice and Genji prefers to throw them three at a time, either in straight line or shotgun style. One of them isn't the most damaging weapon but they are pretty accurate over range and three of them together deal decent damage.
- Wakizashi: A short blade that Genji likes to use for his Swift Strike and Deflect moves. Pretty sharp and it's quality is above normal blades for the reasons listed below.
- Ryu-Ichimonji: The katana that Genji uses during Dragonblade. Can still use it when not going Dragonblade on someone but it won't be nearly as powerful. Still above any normal blade because 1) it's the personal blade made for the son of a powerful crime clan and 2) FUTURE! Think about it like this: flesh, wood, softer metals? Hack and Slash. A large steel beam, a car, or a armored foe? Might take a few slices without Dragonblade.
- Other: Is known by some as Sparrow, a nickname given by his father. Whatever or not this comes up in the RP is unknown.
- Name: Raiden
- Age: 35
- Appearance: "I said my sword was a tool of justice. Not used in anger. Not used for vengeance. But now... Now I'm not so sure."
- Universe: Metal Gear Rising (shortly after the defeat of Armstrong)
- Personality: Raiden for being a cyborg swordmaster is actually a pretty normal guy in a lot of ways. His humor is pretty dry and snarky with a nice helping of cocky from time to time, he's a self-proclaimed movie nerd, dearly loves his wife and kid back home, thinks a clear tourist trap makes a good disguise,◊ pretty much just shrugs off weird things with a "What?" at most......Oh and because of a dark childhood, Raiden has a other personality called Jack the Ripper, who is the side of Raiden that represents his killing nature released and his self-believed status as the "part of the 2% of people who take joy in murdering." Now, that said, even with the chance that he truly does like the death and the killing, Raiden still believes that his sword is a tool of justice, a tool to protect the weak from the strong, a way that can stop the few so the many can go unharmed. He's had a tough life and he in a million years wouldn't call himself a hero but no matter what he can be trusted to hack and slash away the bad.
- Backstory:
- Born in Liberia, Raiden spent his early life as a chlid soldier under Solidus Snake, his adopted father, killer of his parents, and future US president, during the First Liberian Civil War. Turns out he was really, really good at the whole killing thing, so much so he got dubbed "The White Devil" or "Jack the Ripper." As you can guess, the kid was pretty fucked up by the end of the conflict. Ending up in the United States, he did the smart action of suppressing the memories of his childhood then as a adult he joined the US military and did a billion VR missions. Now being a skilled but "inexperienced" rookie, saucy Jack was sent to handle the Big Shell incident which went as well as you could guess it did. Stopped terrorists lead by Solidus who wanted to try to defy The Patriots, a group of asshole AI's that wanted to control the world, won a sick awesome sword duel against Solidus atop Federal Hall, became buddy buddy with Solid Snake, a legendary soldier, went through some personal growth, good and bad, gained a HF sword from a cyborg ninja.
- Remember that group of assholes I talked about? Yeah they then took Raiden and made him a super cool cyborg freak because they caught him while he was trying to save a little girl named Sunny. Daughter of the cyborg ninja he got the sword from. And then MGS4 was a thing and pretty boy here helped Solid Snake, who was now like 80, delete the group of asshole AI's and free the world from the WAR ECONOMY. Now with the world's puppet masters gone PMCs started to boom and Raiden needed to support Rose and Little John, his wife and kid, so he joined with Maverick, who focus more on security then active warfare and is lead by Borris who may or may not be totally Russian and was a friend of Raiden's back during the whole trying to save Sunny thing.
- After a failed protection job of a African president, Raiden and friends learned of a evil plot that Desperado Enforcement LLC., the presidents killers, were doing which went from "get lots of money" to "train children brains to be cyborg soldiers" to "our boss, a US senator with super nano machines, wants to start another War on Terror so he can become president of the US and make massive regime changes in the US." Of course Raiden did a outstanding job killing each leader of Desperado one by one in super cool boss fights but he also left the string of events a changed man, the Ripper being released and himself tired of not fighting his own wars.
- Powers & Skills:
- Cyborg Ninja: Being 99% machine, Raiden is not like the average person. For one his body is highly resistant to damage with small arms fire being virtually worthless against it and his armor being shown to be capable of taking insane force. As well internal nanomachnes monitor his blood and cause him to tire much more slowly and he has pain suppressing nano-machines that cause him to not feel any kind of pain from injures. However, no amount of armor can protect his brain from damage so if hit with rapid string of attacks he can be stunned momentary due to internal safety systems disconnecting the body from the brain in order to prevent brain damage. Also said brain can still be knocked around with strong enough hits to the head, causing minor concussions. Rounding out his cyborg parts is his self-taught skill with his sword, knowledge on how to sneak good, and enough strength to pick up a car (nerfed from his Metal Gear throwing OPness). Of course downsides of being a cyborg include being weak to anti-electronic weapons/hacking, the fact that his body weights a ton, and that he is mostly no longer organicnote
- Blade Mode: Raiden can temporarily slow down his perception of time, granting him the ability to react quicker to enemy attacks and strike faster and harder. However, this is limited due to it being a drain on his body's power cells. Since no cyborgs are around that Raiden could refuel from, I will say the cells slowly recharge over time with food and rest helping the rate of recharge.
- Ripper Mode: This serves as a super powered mode that pushes his body to it's limits. In this mode, he hits harder, moves faster, and disables his pain suppressing nano-machines, as the pain helps him fight better in this mode. He can activate it for short bursts of a few seconds at the cost of draining his energy reserves. However, when in mortal danger, he can access this mode without having to worry about energy with the drawback that Raiden suffers intense burnout from doing so.
- Ninja Run: Raiden is capable of moving rapidly at high speeds, slightly slower than a speeding train at max. When he does this, his feet give off a blue shimmer effect with every step he takes. Ninja Run allows him the capability of using this speed to quickly run up and down walls and jump large distances. Also while he's running he puts his offensive focus on stopping bullets from hitting him but the moment he starts attacking Ninja Run is considered "off."
- AR Mode: It's what the mask is for. By using data from outside the visual spectrum and analysis of possible threats and points of interest the system works as a sensor for stuff. Such as people to slice, things to slice, things that might be important. It's very good at finding things. Can't be used while attacking but the mask can be worn as just a mask for when Raiden needs to look cool.
- CODEC: A radio system used by Raiden, it's silent and no one could guess Raiden is talking to someone through this since it's mental. Can probably work with older tech such as hand radios and the like.
- Equipment:
- HF Blade: Raiden's primary weapon, this sword is much stronger then your average blade because of the small, almost unnoticeable vibrations it gives off. These vibrations also greatly increase its cutting power, enabling him to slice almost anything apart with enough effort. I'm going to say about the same level as Genji's weapons. Flesh, wood, softer metals? Harvest. A large steel beam or a car?....Also harvest. But a tough armored foe? Going to need Ripper Mode or do some damage first. Also Blade Mode will always be a harder hitter than straight fighting since mook cyborgs in Rising aren't just instantly sliced by a attack but can be cut right into twos by Blade Mode. However, the actual sword itself is not all that impressive.
- Other: Real name is Jack and his feet can be used to attack with the sword.
- Bond: Both Genji and Raiden have in the past been greatly hurt because of actions taken by people they loved and trusted which would set them up to be turned into cyborgs by international controlling organizations for their own purposes. Said changes would also cause negative reactions in each of them, mainly the belief that a normal life was gone from them, and then a wise, experienced mentor would teach them that they still had a life to enjoy. As well the two can be pretty dorky when they aren't trying to look like big cool ninjas and they both fight for the people that aren't able to defend themselves.

Well, this was a long time coming. Took me a bit, but I think I found a duo that is just right for me, and I hope will be fun for this kind of roleplay.
- Name: Naoto Shirogane
- Age: 16
- Appearance: The (First) Detective "Prince", Casual/Summer Outfit, and Dancer Outfit
- Universe: Persona 4 (Post-Dancing All Night)
- Personality: Naoto is a detective that acts very mature for her age. In fact, she can occasionally act too mature, to the point it can come off as uptight. There's a reason she was called the "2000-IQ Killjoy Detective". As a detective, she is intelligent, analytical, mission-oriented, and is rarely the one to joke around. Though she was once insecure about her age and gender, her time with the Investigation team have helped her get looser in this regard, and embrace her just being herself than forcing her into either way. That said, she still isn't a fan of being looked down upon. She does something of a shy side to her as well, being easily embarrassed and having a fear of ghosts. She also is not very interested in romantic endeavors for the most part, seeing them as needless "dilly-dallying". She also is something of a closet geek for robots and mecha.
- Backstory: I'll try to keep this brief and (relatively) spoiler-free.
- Naoto Shirogane was born into the illustrious line of Shirogane detectives, the fifth generation. when she was young, she lost both of her parents in a car accident, and was instead raised by her grandfather. She grew up to become an acclaimed detective, the media referring to her as the "Detective Prince", but, as she wanted to be taken seriously in a mostly adult, male-oriented job, started to crossdress, bind her chest, and became insecure about her age. She was eventually hired to assist with a string of bizarre murders/kidnappings in the small Japanese town of Inaba. This led to her first interaction with a group known (to the people looking into the 4th wall at least) as the "Investigation Team", as she interviewed a boy named Kanji Tatsumi who she (correctly) predicted was the next victim. In general, she chastised them, thinking they were more or less a bunch of meddling kids that didn't really know much about investigative work.
- Eventually, the police apprehended who they think was the murderer, but Naoto remained unconvinced. To this end, she set herself up to be a target of the real perpetrator, and they took the bait, throwing Naoto into a TV, and her coming to the other side, where another world existed formed from the unacknowledged side of the people thrown in (For a very simple explanation). There she was taken by her "Shadow", a childish, yet creepy scientist who wanted to give her an "operation", inside a secret base. Thankfully for her, the Investigation Team managed to find her, and save her from her shadow when she denied it. She eventually accepted it, and obtained her Persona, Sukuna-Hikona. From there, she helped the investigation team uncover the truth about the case, And saved the world twice over as they did so. They also did... something, she just can't recall what.
- A month or two passes at the end of the investigation, and Golden Week approaches, as Naoto was hired to investigate into a group known as the "Shadow Operatives", other Persona Wielders who deal with Shadows, namely one Mitsuru Kirijo, to which she found it best to accept. Mitsuru was actually pretty receptive to this, as the Operatives really don't have much to hide, allowing her to be an escort for some cargo. Unfortunately, said cargo was stolen, but Naoto tracked it down, but was told it was getting to dangerous and she should leave the case. She didn't, even though she knew that was just for the greater good, and eventually ended up entering the TV again to continue the investigation. She ended up in a strange fighting tournament, and from here, details get fuzzy, though it's likely she threw a match to Mitsuru. What is known is that the tournament was hosted by a Shadow of a Android named Labrys, Labrys accepts her shadow and gains a persona, Naoto makes it out, Mitsuru gives the team her blessings, and Naoto types in a report that the Shadow Operatives are safe, though the Kirijo group should be dug into more.
- However, literally the day after, a new tournament is started, and Inaba was engulfed in a red fog. While continuing her investigations, and fighting against a bunch of shadow clones, she confronted a Malevolent Entity, that she proceeded to help defeat.
- Fast-forward to Summer the same year, and Naoto is starting to allow herself to be herself, rather than trying to fill a role. Rise, a member of the investigation team and an idol on hiatus, was making her return back to the stage, and wanted her friends to help her with the Love Meets Bonds (LMB) festival by being backup dancers. This was all good before idols started getting dragged to the "Midnight Stage", where they get trapped into an "eternal bond". When a producer was kidnapped while protecting an idol, the team gave chase, only to learn that violence was not tolerated on the Midnight Stage, and would be stopped if done so. What was the solution? Dancing, in order to express their true selves. In the end, they managed to stop the Midnight stage, and put on a show. It's been quiet for Naoto since then, until this whole "bond" thing came into her life.
- Powers & Skills:
- Persona:Sukuna-Hikona: Naoto's "Mask" to overcome life's hardships. Human-sized (or slightly bigger), it wields a essentially a lightsaber for melee attacks. As well, it carries some other skills. Should it be hit, unlike say, a Stand, it won't translate directly to the user, though if hurt enough, the Persona become's broken, Naoto experiences a sharp headache, and the Persona is rendered unusable for a good 30 seconds.
- Shield of Justice: A projected barrier in front of Naoto, a little bit bigger than herself, but not enough to protect anyone besides herself and those directly behind (and practically clinging) her, that should adsorb most normal blows (Up to a fairly high caliber sniper rifle before breaking), though sufficiently strong blows are enough to pierce it. From here, she can get some distance or shoot to counter. She is exposed from the back.
- Megido: A red circle in the air or a green circle on the floor that Sukuna-Hikona can project, that if an enemy enters they get hit with a decently weighty burst of magical (but non-elemental) energy.
- Hamaon: A square of light (2 meter sides) on the floor that, should someone be within it, hits them with a powerful burst of light.
- Mundoon: A circle of black (1 meter in diameter) appears in front of Naoto, and, after two seconds, fires off a powerful beam of dark magic (or however a dark-based move works).
- Detective Skills: Naoto is a detective with a pedigree, after all. This comes with what you expect, being able to analyze clues in order to arrive at the truth of a case.
- Combat Skills: Naoto is skilled (and certified to carry) small firearms. She specializes in revolvers, submachine guns, and shotguns, and can competently weild any of them. She also has some CQC skill, but nothing especially noteworthy, just that she isn't completely helpless without a gun or her persona.
- Dancing Skills: Thanks to her experience for and with LMB, Naoto was trained to become much better at dancing, and could employ this if need be (though that would be the day).
- Equipment:
- Revolver: A revolver, which can carry five shots before having to reload. For some reason, she never has to deal with a hard ammo limit, unlike certain others from her universe...
- Alpha Uzi: Despite the name, it's more of a submachine gun with one burst of 10 bullets per clip. The bullets can seal away an opponents magic for 10 seconds should they strike true.
- Beta Shotgun: A shotgun with one shot in it per reload. The gun can inflict "Fear" if it hits (which in this RP translates as a sudden flight-or-fight adrenaline rush, hopefully causing the opponent to drop their guard).
- Cell Phone: A cell phone. Flip phone, to be more precise. Not much else to say about that.
- Other:
- For the sake of RP, she assumes a moveset similar to Arena, and, as well, has her initial Persona (for now anyways), so it is assumed that Yu did not reach Rank 10 with her (think moreso Animation, though with the Persona 4 Arena rules of how Persona's act).
- Should she text on a phone for some reason, she does so in all caps and shortened language.
- Speaks with a low, almost masculine voice when composed, and gets higher when she isn't.
- I decided to remove Blight from her skill list, as the Poison effect would be more annoying to deal with than anything else. Tell me if you want me to remove the other status effects, and obviously these are all resistible.
- Name: Maya Fey
- Age: 19
- Appearance: Master of Kurian Village.
- Universe: Ace Attorney (Between Trials and Tribulations and Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney)
- Personality: Contrasting her bound mate, Maya's rather childish. She's curious, perky, outgoing, easily excited, and can be something of an odd duck at times, to the point people have questioned her sanity. She also has a rather large appetite, mostly for burgers and noodles, though also steaks, sweets, and Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches. That said, she's also stubborn, persistent, loyal, and optimistic, and puts other before herself. She's also a huge fan of the "Steel Samurai" Franchise, the equivalent Power Rangers in her corner of the multi-verse.
- Backstory: Let's also try to be brief here. This one is a bit more spoilery than the Naoto one, though. Most of her bigger moments tend to be at the end of the games. I'll try to keep as restrained as possible though.
- Maya was born into the Fey family, a family of powerful spirit mediums trained in the Kurian Change Technique. Her father died when she was young, and her mother left in shame when she was two due to fubbling up finding the truth for an incident the courts labeled "DL-6", as the "culprit" was able to convince the court he was legally insane at the time (The truth was more complicated, as the backstory will show). Her sister, Mia, then left to seek the truth of the case, and became an attorney, though her and Maya remained close, even entrusting evidence to her. Maya, meanwhile, lived with her aunt Morgan Fey to hone her skill.
- That changed as of September 5th, 2016, as Maya discovered Mia dead as she was going to get evidence. She was then arrested as a suspect of said murder. She tried to contact a lawyer Mia said to go to if needed, her mentor, but he didn't help, as he was being blackmailed by the murderer, who also happened to be the reason her mom left in disgrace when he publicized the incident. Thankfully for her, someone did take the case: One Phoenix Wright, a defense attorney who worked under Mia. The two forged a bond during the trial, and Maya was able to do her first successful channel to channel Mia, taking down the true murderer and getting Maya innocent. From there, she became something of an assistant to Wright, helping him through two more cases: One of a murder involving the cast of the show "Steel Samurai", and another with Prosecutor and Childhood Friend of Wright Miles Edgeworth standing accused. During the latter, they ended up uncovering the Truth of DL-6, with it being commited the whole time after Maya managed to snag a bullet that they could use the ballistic markings of to compare to a shoulder wound the culprit recieved. She also got arrested and bailed out for contempt of court during this (2 arrests). Once this was done, she left to train to become a better spirit medium.
- Six Months later, Maya was set up by Morgan to take a fall for a murder, as she felt her daughter, Pearl Fey, was a much better canidate for being the Master of the household, and thus was arrested (3). Pearl, however, wasn't aware of this, so she helped Phoenix clear her name, and charged Maya's Magatama to be able to see people's secrets. From there, she assisted in two other cases, one after Phoenix lost his memory for a bit and one at a circus, against a prosecutor named Franziska Von Karma. She was then kidnapped in order for Phoenix to be forced to defend a person who is guilty of hiring an assassin to commit murder, and have an innocent girl be found guilty in his place. Thankfully, they got out of that situation and came out none the worse for wear.
- Seven months pass, and Maya continues to assist Phoenix through a case of a theif turned murder and one at a restaurant (where she was dragged into waitressing), against an enigmatic prosecutor named Godot. However, Morgan wasn't out of the the story quite yet. Although she was arrested for the whole set up with Maya, she did trick Pearl into channeling Dahila Hawthorne, a person who Mia got arrested and executed for murder, and composed a plan to Kill Maya Fey. Due to... a lot of factors, this plan didn't go well, and ended with Maya's Mother, Misty, who was in disguise and sent there by Godot, who was actually Diego, Mia's former boyfriend, actually dying after Channeling Dahlia so Pearl could be out of the plan, and then being killed by Godot to protect Maya. After what can only be described as a Grand Finale of a Case, Maya ended up channeling Dahila to protect everyone, she ended up accused of murder again (4), and Dahila was exorcised with the power of truth (I don't get how that worked either). One attempt to protect the person who saved her life later, being caught be Phoenix, and the whole truth was revealed. Despite the events that would normally break an average teen, she actually remained somewhat strong, mostly for Pearl's sake. However, she was now officially the Master of Kurian now, so she had to add those responsibilities to her time with Phoenix. It was during this period of training that Maya that she got "bonded" to Naoto and sent to who knows where.
- Powers & Skills:
- Spirit Channeling: Maya's "Signature" ability, the Kurian Change Technique passed down the female side of the family, allowing her to use her body to channel a spirit of the dead for other to interact with. In order to channel a spirit in her body, she must know the Face and True Name of whoever is she is channeling. When channeling, Maya's body turns into the body of whoever is channeled, only the hair and clothes are unchanged. This means the channeled spirit retains their natural abilities while being channeled. Maya, meanwhile, while channeling for all intents and purposes doesn't exist, so she can't recall nor directly influence whoever she is channeling, though she's skilled enough to keep the spirit from doing anything too extreme. Still, it's the spirits choice when to leave, for the most part, and depending on the length of time leaves her exhausted.
- Equipment:
- Magatama: An Orange charm Maya wears around her neck. Mostly for decoration.
- Cell Phone: A cell phone, a flip phone specifically, with a charm attached. Again, not much else to say.
- Other:
- She's Hopeless with Computers.
- She's somewhat competent at Piano, but by no means is an "expert".
- Bond: Both are young characters who uphold both a family tradition and the law, investigate crime scenes, and were pivotal in finding the truth of a case (Naoto's kidnapping made the Investigation Team realize that they weren't done with the case just yet, and Maya ended up grabbing a bullet that ended up exposing the true murderer of the DL-6 Case, among other things), and were both kidnapped at some point (Again, Naoto during Persona 4, Maya during Justice for All). They also have a supernatural bent to them with either their Persona (Naoto) or Spirit Channeling and Magatama Use (Maya). They can also be rather geeky towards mechs (Naoto) or Sentai (Maya) that betray their formal status. Also one fears ghost stories, while the other's a spirit medium, so whatever determines the bonds have a sense of humor, at least.
That was probably more detailed than needed, but I'm willing to work with whatever is needed.

Hey Boomer, glad you could make it! I will say that I'm actually playing as Maya (along with Phoenix) in a roleplay already, so this is going to be a bit weird to be on both sides. That said:
The application is largely fine, but a couple of things of note: for one, Maya's actual Magatama is the one Phoenix has - the one she gives him in JFA - and the one she wears seems to be more a decoration than the actual stone, so I'm not sure she'd be able to see Psyche Locks. I'm on the fence about whether she'd have any powers outside of the channeling, considering both Marvel vs Capcom and Project X Zone aren't exactly canon for the series. For right now I'm willing to let her have the barrier.
And in regards to Naoto's sign-up, where exactly do the Uzi and Shotgun come from? The games have her stick with handguns and I wasn't able to even find either weapons in Persona 4. Also I can't find a Kiritsugu as being from a Persona game, but instead from Fate/Zero. If Naoto was to have an Uzi, somehow, it would function as it would from her own universe.

I'll admit, I was hemming and hawing the Maganata charge the whole way I was making the sign-up. It would be weird for Maya her to have the barrier but not much else, those skills are definitely dubiously canon, and Naoto was more of the combat one and already has a barrier skill. I just decided to have Maya go with Spirit Channeling only (for now, anyways, who knows what she'll get her hands on once in the RP proper), it's a unique and useful enough skill.
As for Naoto, I do have a defense for the guns, actually, in that she uses these two weapons in Arena for some of her supers (Anti-SP Pistol Alpha◊ and Beta◊), which she is taken from afterwards, and they do carry the effects I presented. I just used Kiritisugu as a comparison as he had Bullets that cut off (and rewired) people's Magic, not as a serious canon inheritance. Sorry for the confusion.
All of this has been edited into the sheet. I was aware there was a Maya in COLC but did not put two and two together. If you find the idea of GMing Maya too weird or problematic, I am willing to switch Naoto's partner. Believe me, while Maya was the the idea I that stuck the most for her pair up, she wasn't the first.

Ah, right, I guess I thought she still only had the handgun in Arena. That clears a lot of it up, actually.
Since there's no other problems, Naoto and Maya are accepted! You can check out the discussion thread, as so far it has information about the bond and how it affects them, and if you're willing you can also join the Skype chat I made for the roleplay. Just search for Truth - I've got a picture of Maya, coincidentally, so it shouldn't be hard to find.
@Light To All since you told me you're still changing the sign-ups, and since they're already done (in the sense it's filled out), I'm going to accept you now instead of pointlessly wait and force you to rush it along.
So, Genji and Raiden are accepted.
Is this still open? I'd really like to jump in. On a side note, anyone know a good bond for Jules from Pulp Fiction? I'm thinking either SFV-Era Ryu or Pre-Bites The Dust Arc Kira Yoshikage.

"DIO is the ultimate being! The being of the future! Dare you not to rival me!"Okay. For The Son, would it be similar to the way Geese can show up in Tekken 7, where whatever entity that brought us here saved him as he was falling? For Agent 47, what limits are imposed in terms of his weapons? Are al the mods brought with him? do I design the weapons and land with them and nothing else? Or do I just drop with the weapons at their simplest form? And how many weapons would I be allowed to bring, if any?
"DIO is the ultimate being! The being of the future! Dare you not to rival me!"I'm actually thinking about an Agent 47/John Wick pairing now. Or maybe Sokka and Raphael...
