In the Beauty and the Beast remake, Gaston's sidekick LeFou is gay. What are your thoughts on this? (I myself have no real feelings over this decision.)
Moana. I'm a little disappointed that it didn't win, but Zootopia was more than worthy of winning one itself, so I'm not really complaining.

What was your favorite movie nominated for an Oscar? Just in general?
Three that I can remember. Suicide Squad, which I fucking hated, Arrival, which I fucking loved and thought really deserved Best Picture, and Zootopia, which I thought was really really good but kind of overhyped.

If I had to choose, though, it'd probably be either "How Far I'll Go" (for being a perfect description of Moana's character at the start) or "You're Welcome" (for its sheer catchiness).

What's your least-favorite use of an existing song in an animated movie? (For example, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" [by The Tokens] in The Lion King, to continue the theme.)
