This is the thread to use if you feel that the page image itself is good but the caption needs help.
If you think that both the image and the caption are poor, please make a thread in Image Pickin' for the page, and we'll work on the image and caption both at the same time.
As with other TRS and IP threads, please state your reasons and make your case in your first post. Don't make the other posters spend time trying to pry it out of you.

Added it since it's been a couple days and nobody else said anything.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Caption suggestion for Ax-Crazy: "Do you like Huey Lewis and the News?"
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I'm good with that, although it might be a little obtuse if you're not familiar with the movie.
Ideally, it would be best to avoid Shout Outs to specific works so everyone can understand the caption.
^^ I don't think knowing it's a Shout-Out was what I was getting at; it's how out of left-field it is for someone who looks like he just committed an axe murder, emphasizing the "dangerously insane" part.
In other words, it enhances the latter, and doesn't require the first.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Hmmm...well, I'm not 100% against it, but let's see how the consensus falls out.
Could I suggest a slight change to the caption(s) at Fridge Brilliance?
This version has a caption before the first image, after the second one, and between the two. The old one had one caption at the top and one at the bottom.
Either's fine with me.
I prefer how it is now, it is already "stretched out" enough.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Suggesting this for the newly created Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade (split from Fire Emblem Elibe):
I think it's funnier when it's stretched out.
The potholes in the caption of Avoid the Dreaded G Rating don't make sense to me. They're to Literature.Heart Of Darkness and Film.Apocalypse Now, neither of which seem to be examples. Is it just an okay quote allusion? I would just pull the potholes; the text itself is kind of funny, I guess.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyAny other opinions on ?
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?^^ It's a quote from that book (and its film adaptation).
v I agree. Just answering what it's from.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Yes, but the potholes don't make any sense. Neither of those works was ever even close to getting a G-rating. If they were links to movies that used the trope they'd be ok, but as it is, they're sinkholes.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Papa Wolf and Mama Bear have the same caption, except for the former being potholed to Aliens and the latter potholing to Pre Ass Kicking One Liner.

This account is dead. I’ve said a lot of dumb things in the past and I wish to forget them. I’m sorry if I’ve ever hurt anyone. The way I see it, the caption of the image for Avoid the Dreaded G Rating is ultimately fundamental to the image's inclusion. If it goes, the image should too.

pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSThe image should go on G-rating. It's not an illustration of the trope or even an example of it at all.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I think the current image caption on Buffyverse is pretty clunky, and would flow a lot better if we just used the unedited original: "Always so concerned with the human condition. It's no big mystery, man. They suffer, they die. That's what they're there for."
Also, I question potholing that statement to the specific episode that it appeared in.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Either version works for me.
Suggestions for new pics:
- Bandit Clan: They'll rob ya, then they'll eat ya....and maybe not in that order.
- Soul Eating: "You say 'soul food' and I'll kick your ass."
- Telephone Teleport: Morpheus phone home.

I like Bandit Clan and am apathetic about Telephone Teleport.
I feel like we could make a different joke for Soul Eater considering that the image character's name is literally Soul.
Still want opinions on 686.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Would also like it to be written with no first person, "If you say soul food, he'll kick your ass", simply "Don't say soul food", or something, if a different joke is not chosen.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I have no context for 686 as I've never played the FE games, so I'm neutral on it.
If anyone's got a different idea for Soul Eating, go for it; that's the first variant on a soul food gag that came to mind as "Soul food" seemed too easy...although the character's name being Soul does make for a double-layered pun, now that I think about it.
