You know what's rather amusing?
Gabe Newell, Anna the merchant, and Morshu all naturally gravitated toward one another. All three are "shopkeepers", in a sense of the word. They're all mutually close friends, Gaben and Anna are dating, and Morshu has at least expressed romantic interest in Anna (Though for obvious reasons I told him not to act on that). It's like they formed some kind of shopkeeper's guild all on the game's own.
They're also in a band together: The Moneymakers.
Also, today Senator Armstrong told me he wanted to be friends with Raiden. And the first thing Paula Deen did upon arriving on the island was make friends with Mistral. And Gordon Ramsay is besties with a toaster. This game makes some really weird friendships.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!(takes her turn to blow dust off of this thread)
Heh, I've kind of not been playing for a while, but I still occasionally do, just to check up on my 60-ish islanders. I have a combination of pre-existing characters and some original characters - in fact, when I first heard about this game, I was excited about it because I already had Miis of most of my OC's, and wanted to see how they interacted in the game. I've had more than my share of weird moments in the game, including:
- My favourite moment is when I asked "Who's good at potions?" at Quirky Questions. Severus Snape's reaction is priceless.◊ (He's in the top center.)
- Mr. Saturn wrote a rap song◊.
- Jessie, James, and Meowth formed the band "Team Rocket". They have a rock song about their boss◊, a techno song about Ash/Misty/Brock ("The Twerps"), rap◊ and musical◊ versions of their motto, and a ballad about wanting to catch Pikachu.
- Dumbledore, Snape, Voldemort, and Bellatrix formed the band "Hogwarts". They have an opera song about Harry Potter◊, a rock song about his parents, a ballad about Dumbledore's death, and a musical about the Sorting Hat. Also, apparently Dumbledore and Voldemort are highly compatible◊.
- 5-dollar milkshakes◊. Was this intentional?
- My son is obsessed with the Great Old Ones◊.
- Jessie had a kid with Voldemort, who is now in a relationship with Morticia. She's now married to Gollum and just had a kid with him. She has strange taste in partners.
- Celeste has been married to James and Aragorn, but is now single. And even though she's supposed to be the Ultimate Gambler, every time I play cards with her◊, I win.
- One of my OC's, an Elegant Gothic Lolita, hates macarons. Early in the game she was married to her true love from her original story, and shares the same favourite food (tomato soup) as her other Love Interest.
- An OC of mine named Lupin is in a relationship with Bellatrix. His daughter (from his ex-wife) is married to Mr. Saturn.
- Dumbledore has been in relationships with my mom and one of my OC's, the latter of whom is 20 years old. That's a HUGE age difference - good thing it didn't last.
- Two of my OC's are into beastiality: one of them (a 10-year-old cowgirl) is in a relationship with Boney; the other is married to Meowth and has four kids with him (two of whom are Saria and Ruto). They also later had Sora as a baby and sent him away when he grew up.
- Other odd relationships: James x Nabooru, Ciel x Ruto, Pegasus x Marisa
- Saria had a dream about growing old◊... which is interesting because she's essentially from Neverland.
- Odd food/clothing tastes:
- Voldemort loves Peking duck, and also likes to wear dog suits◊.
- Aragorn loves bananas, but hates oatmeal
- Zelda hated her princess dress
- Mr. Saturn loves pickles (fuzzy ones I bet)
- Lucas loves milk, but doesn't like omelets (his canon favorite food)
- Dumbledore loves Salisbury steak
- Gandalf didn't like his wizard costume
- James loves drumsticks and apple pie; Meowth loves crackers. And just like in the anime, James loves to cross-dress and do the hula◊.

Come, my child of the devil. Your mother is calling you. Hear my call in Hell's grand hall, where all our dreams come true.Voldemort wears dog suits because dogs have good noses and he's envious of noses.
I still check in every day to at least get new things from the shops, but I don't actually play with the Miis as often at the moment. Though I'd like to add some more Miis; preferably female ones, my last few were all male and I'd like to maintain close to an even ratio. I'm out of ideas though.
Anyway, some highlights from the past few months.
- I mentioned that Armstrong wanted to be friends with Raiden. Not only are they friends, they're best friends. I guess without all the war and insane plots looming over them, they do get along pretty well. Paula Deen is also best friends with Mistral now.
- Sundowner starred in a hit musical: "I'M FUCKING INVINCIBLE!: The True Sundowner Story, the Musical, Live!"◊ This is the showstopper. Besides that, Sundowner does nothing but sit in his room all alone smiling while wearing his straw boater, which he never ever takes off. He has no friends or even acquaintances, but he is completely happy in isolation.
- Perhaps the strangest couple on the island is Guy Fieri and Wii Fit Trainer◊. I can't imagine it's easy for them to agree on dinner.
- The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse◊ live on my island. Famine's taken up magic◊ and melts if he eats stuffed cabbage rolls. Pestilence was understandably attracted to Dark Samus◊, but it didn't work out.
- Dr. Robotnik has a pretty good pickup line◊. (Spoiler: It didn't work.) He also sometimes peers into the diner when no one is around.◊
- Lonk from Pennsylvania and the King of Hyrule got into a HUGE fight◊. "Mah boi! YOU MUST DIE!"
- Henry from Fire Emblem Awakening got into a slightly less violent fight◊ with Handsome Squidward, for some reason. Maybe he said "Ooh, ugly!" to him. Henry also has some odd words◊ to say about Guy Fieri.
- Gabe Newell had an all-too-fitting dream◊. He's also, of course, good at delaying HL3◊.
- John Cena's Sexy Sleepover Party◊. The guy in the ballerina dress is Robin, by the way. It's the only clothing he has and I won't give him anything else so he's stuck in them forever.
- The Hungry Pumkin got a stomachache◊. That's what happens when you eat salt shakers, glasses, sticks of butter, ect...
- Speaking of butter, Y'ALL BETTER BE EATIN' DEEP-FRIED BUTTER IN THERE!◊
Those are the only recent pictures I have, but there's been plenty of other silly occurences.
My personal Mii got into a fight with Charles Barkley for some reason, and Impa's favorite foods have thus far consisted of yogurt, saltines, white bread, tap water, and rice. Not a very adventurous palate, that one.
Professor Oak has a heavy metal song that consists of him screaming at you about how he knows you're trying to ride your bike indoors and you'd better stop or he'll fucking murder you.
I always give Frying Pans to Gordon Ramsay. Some of the foods he's somehow made using the frying pan include a strawberry, lemonade, and ice cream.
If you want I could also post some QR Codes of some of my Miis for you to download.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! My Professor Oak has a very similar song! :O
The Protomen enhanced my life.Incidentally, I was debating on whether to add Impa to my island for the longest time, since I have all the other Ocarina of Time sages in there (except Rauru). Except then she'd look out of place since she's young in that game.
Oh, speaking of which, I just picked up the game again after making my last post, and something hilarious just happened. One of my islanders (the offspring of two of my OC's, named Trinity) wanted to go out with either Link or one of my other OC's. Said OC was taken, so I set her up with Link. About two seconds later, I remembered that Zelda was single and I wanted Link to be with her, so I tried to set Trinity up for failure by having her sing a cheesy song to him at school, while wearing a bathing suit and a horse mask. Just before Link could react, who should show up but Zelda! Despite this setup, Link chose Trinity over Zelda. (I think it may have been the horse mask that did it. Link probably wants to ride her now.)

Come, my child of the devil. Your mother is calling you. Hear my call in Hell's grand hall, where all our dreams come true.Pfft.
I've been trying to see if I can set up King Harkinian with Zelda, because she had once expressed interest in him and now I'm determined to make the island as demented as the CD-i games are.
Oh, by the way, my Impa is the CD-i version, not the OOT version.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I don't play this game, I only know "how" it works, but reading your Mii's memoirs make it all sound like a So Bad, It's Good crack fanfic...
RE: Prof. Oak - You type up your own song lyrics right?
edit: Also, I would appreciate QR of Oak.

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! It really is.
And yeah, you get to put in whatever lyrics you want. I have Stu Pickles singing a tragic, lamenting ballad about making chocolate pudding at four in the morning.
I can get you my Oak QR Code, but I'm not sure what use you have for it if you don't have the game.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Just the Mii Maker code is fine. I don't have TL, but I certainly do have Smash...
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!I have Professor Oak in Smash, as a Brawler.
But sure, I can get the general-purpose QR code. Gimme a sec.
Tomodachi Life's QR codes are exclusive to Tomodachi Life, so I was confused.
Edit: Here's Oak.◊

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! Thanks. Actually I didn't know TL had its own more complex character creation QR, always assumed it's just Mii Maker ones.
EDIT: (mii) Bayonetta, Reggie FILSAMECH and Sakurai going at it in Smash Tour seems to be a common occurrence for me while I try in vain to get the challenges done.

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!TL's QR codes also save things like personality, currently-equipped clothing, birthyear, voice settings, catchphrase, and hair dye.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Sometimes this game◊ makes me believe it's actually sapient◊.
(Also I tried to make Qario◊ from Vinesauce, but there's no proper deerstalker hat.)
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
