Anime is famous all around the world. We all know that, right? Well what's famous around America since the 1890's but I haven't seen so many in my time cuz' I was too young to experience killing and slashing. Now I've watched stuff like Fullmetal, Inuyasha, Samurai Champloo, anything bloody I've gotten used to it but it's been getting me curious to watch horror movies too. So I thought of just having a fun topic to talk about a vs. match between 6 famous American Horror Villains and 6 famous anime girls who are crazy killers or cute to the viewers. This is going to be fun. Let's talk about who would be the best match against who; in a fair fight or anything close that matches their traits, personality and talents. And what would happen if they were to fight each other?

Our killers are..............

Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13 Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street Michael Myers from Halloween Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Pinhead from Hellraiser Ghostface from Scream (Watch Big Brothers Horror from Robot Chicken on youtube)

VS..................

Rena Ryuugu from Higurashi When They Cry Lucy from Elfen Lied Yuno Gasai from Future Diaries Kotonoha Katsura/Sekai Saionji from School Days Ai Enma from Hell Girl Fumio Kirisaki from the short recent manga Saitama Chainsaw Girl

I searched high and low to find the best suited characters to fight against those who close to match their strengths and weaknesses but this is my pick of who they should all fight against.

Jason vs. Rena Leatherface vs. Fumio Freddy vs. Lucy Pinhead vs. Ai Michael vs. Yuno Ghostface vs. Sekai/Kotonoha (Either or maybe both?)

Tell me what you guys think and what would happen? We can even make a story of it and make it as good since Freddy vs. Jason.

I'm lovin' it!

So this is basically Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny: Anime yandere vs American slasher edition?

I haven't seen any of the aforementioned slasher/horror films, but from what I know via wiki and Popcultural Osmosis, I'll give some input.

Same deal for most of the anime girls, but I have read all of Future Diary, and I'm in the process of reading/watching Elfen Lied, so here goes.

  • Jason is pretty much unkillable IINM, meaning that anyone he fights against is pretty much a Forgone Conclusion in his favor unless they have some kind of supernatural powers. Yuno can see the future via her cellphone diary, but only as it pertains to Yukiteru, and she can only kill using normal, mundane means. Lucy might be able to put up a good fight, depending on how one interprets her vectors as applied to Jason.
  • Freddy, IIRC, is some kind of fear/nightmare demon or another, or he eventually became one. Point is, IINM he's also unkillable by normal means. Which means Yuno and the chicks from School Days are pretty much fucked.
  • Now, since I don't recall hearing anything to the contrary, I'm going to assume that Leatherface and possibly Michael Myers lack any supernatural elements to them, and can therefore be killed by conventional means - assuming you're brave/crazy enough to try. Yuno's probably screwed against either of them because (being a young teen trying to fight full-grown men) she's at a natural disadvantage in terms of speed. I don't know what Michael's signature instrument is, but I'm pretty sure chainsaw beats axe. Lucy might have a fairly good chance, though again it depends on how the author interprets the limits of her vectors and whether or not they ever extend beyond their original two-meter reach (only a few chapters/episodes in, so I don't know yet).

Can't comment to anyone else, but really, I think American horror tends to use a relative Villain Sue compared to the "normals" - and really, most viewers show up FOR THE VILLAIN IINM - while, Lucy aside, most anime horror tend to be more abstract/psychological (like Paranoia Agent) or their powers/abilities are well within the range of normal humans, and the scare factor comes from just how WRONG these people are in the head.

Now, Freddy versus Li'l Slugger on the other hand, that one might have some merit. Haven't seen Slugger's series nor any of Freddie's flicks, but from what I understand that matchup would have relative power balance.

Also, Johnny, the latter half of your post is sorely in lack of commas, y'know?

Enma Ai is one of those characters whose upper limits are difficult to gauge as she's usually The Fettered—she normally can't act against someone unless a bargain has been made to send them to Hell, and then it's pretty much a foregone conclusion. I haven't seen any of the episodes where she's free to cut loose. That said, she's the only one who might be able to take Freddy on on his turf.

Sorry if I lacked comas but I actually pressed Enter on the opponents to line them up but it wouldn't take that so my bad. [down][down]Here's why I picked these opponents against each other as far as I learned.[down][down]Jason vs. Rena; I've only seen the first movie but I watched Freddy vs. Jason and know already that Jason is a zombie so he's hard to kill but because he has his machete, Rena has a freakin' big axe blade that is almost as big as Jason's weapon. I'm still watching Higurashi and only caught up to episode 14 so I'm still learning how she can be a match for Jason. I've learned it's cuz' of the curse of a demon so she could be controlled a lot by it. Her being small also makes her fast. But if the demon is released from Rena, Jason slices her in half and then comes to fight against the demon holding her axe blade. Zombie vs. Demon? Idk if that really happens but I thought it would be awesome. Knife on knife; plus Rena seems to like blood.[down][down]Freddy vs. Lucy; I almost took her as a god because she kills without touching them kinda like Gaara with his Sand powers. So even though she's hard to kill, so is Freddy but only in Freddy's realm. Freddy can haunt Lucy for all the wrong and killing she's done; especially to Kanae T_T (I still can't get over that). Anyway, both her and Freddy can fight in her dream and she can put up a fight but for how long? Eventually, she'll pull him out and then Freddy will have to think of a way to beat her but it's hard for him. Lucy will hold Freddy's head with her vectors and still Freddy will be back right after a wink to the audiences. ^_~[down][down]Michael Myers vs. Yuno Gasai; I think I'll wait till it's dubbed but I just wanna' see Yuno go crazy and kill. Since she's a school girl, it not only makes sense to fight against a silent human killer like Michael but she uses other weapons besides a knife. Mike's signature weapon is always the chef's knife but he's used an axe and a scythe. Yuno can read the future only if Yuki's in danger but Yuno is the target of Michael so she'll have a hard time escaping Michael's sneaky moves.[down][down]Leatherface vs. Fumio Kirisaki; This is the only anime girl with a chainsaw so it's an obvious reason why I picked her. The manga only has 6 chapters and idk how popular it is but she's a massive killer like Lucy and just hacks away anyone in her way to kill her bf. Oh and guess what! She has a Texan grandfather and she mentions LEATHERFACE! XD[down][down]Pinhead vs. Hell Girl; Not only are both hellish beings but their powers are slightly similar. I've never seen Hellraiser but through strange coincidence, both have 3 companions. Ai has three people to torture people mentally and Pinhead has the cynobites who I presume torture physically? Pinhead uses chains and hooks while Ai uses the red thread as binding people to hell. I'm still watching Hell Girl hoping to find something that has Ai fight or use a weapon or something that can fight against Pinhead. Otherwise, you really think she should fight Freddy?[down][down]Ghostface vs. Sekai and/or Kotonoha; I'm a fan of school days and scream was what scared me away as a kid to stay away from slasher films. But I'm ready for a fight of creepy dark humor. Since they use their cellphones, I think Ghostface can be a stalker and taunt them about their personal life and just when Ghostface kills Makoto, Kotonoha and Sekai can go crazy against Ghostface and then can turn ugly.

First things first, bro, commas and paragraph splits.

Freddy vs. ^_~
Lucy's vectors, for the sake of anyone unfamiliar, are - as far as I can tell - basically invisible hands/arms made of pure energy that Lucy controls with her mind, and which have horrific supernatural strength. They can be used to block bullets, or throw objects with fairly acceptable accuracy and terrific force. However, at least out of what I've seen so far, her vectors have a limited reach of two meters, or roughly six feet. Other than using her vectors for defense, however, Lucy is otherwise just as killable as a normal human being. So really, she's "hard to kill" not because she can take ungodly amounts of punishment, but because she can lay an almost nonstop assault on her opponents, forcing them on the defensive so that they can't fight back. At least, that's mostly how her fight with Bando in ep 2 played out.

Michael Myers vs. Yuno can read the future only if Yuki's in danger but Yuno is the target of Michael so she'll have a hard time escaping Michael's sneaky moves.
Okay, from what I know of Michael's style, Yuno is almost completely and totally screwed if he should designate her as his target. She desperately needs advance knowledge from her diary, so unless she's got Yukiteru working with her, she's kinda screwed. Although really, she's more known for having An Axe To Grind with her rivals than for being a Knife Nut.

Leatherface vs. XD
From that description, she might sufficient Axe-Crazy to actually take on her opponent head-on, but unless she's much more athletic than Lucy and Yuno (who, let's face it, is relatively average if not for her Yandere Rage) - or has a decent grasp of strategy - Leatherface still has a very dramatic power advantage, and in a duel of chainsaws, the one with more force will probably win.

Ghostface vs.
Okay, since it sounds like this 'Ghostface' fella is a Badass Normal in comparison to his comrades, I have no idea who might win this round. Except that it obviously ain't Makoto.

What do you think of Jason vs. Rena? And Pinhead vs. Hell Girl? Also, isn't Yuno supposed to be a psychopath and brutally murder people?

At the end of Elfen Lied, Lucy's vectors had a worldwide range that could have been used to kill every human on the planet at once (though it destroyed her body)...

Lucy wouldn't lose.

I don't know if he qualifies on account of his home series not being "horror" per se - at least, I don't think I'd call it horror - but given how he is associated with one of - if not the - most Nightmare Fuel-tastic Moral Event Horizon ever... eh, might as well throw in Femto.

Plus Lucy is damn creative with her vectors.

Random Red Shirt soldier: "She only has a range of Two Meters!"

...Lucy snags pen from her newest victim, and fires it with the force of a bullet.

(First episode)

Plus as Bando learns, Lucy knows how to use guns.

"...no fair!"

(2nd/3rd episode)

She'd dice anything that isn't spectral like freddy. But her inner psycho might best him in the dreamscape. That bitch be scary!

I just recently finished watching Future Diary and I wasn't very pleased with the anime; especially with Yuno. I call her excessively obsessed with Yukii and even Kotonoha shares traits with her but Yuno has a lot of problems but the problems she has isn't what I was expecting to see. There was too many changes happening everywhere and it was very confusing what to believe. Now I just wish things didn't end up that way. All I know is that Yuno protects Yukii and gets pissed at anyone who dares to hurt him. I pared her to fight against Michael Myers because he used other weapons as well. But Yuno's best trait would have to be the phone. In Scream, Ghostface used the phone to taunt and scare opponents and stalk people. That makes him like Yuno but School Days traits also had protagonist use cell phones. It's their trademark but I just don't know who should fight Yuno. Should it be Michael Myers or Ghostface? And how long can they last? Long enough to kill Yuno I hope? Man, if they kill Yukii and Makoto, both Yuno and Kotonoha will never be the same. That's the level I want them to be when up against either Myers or Ghostface.

I'm lovin' it!

... like I tried to say before, Yuno's greatest weapon is her diary, but its crippling weakness is that - because of her total obsession with Yukiteru, it will only make predictions centered around him, and she's effectively blind on all other subjects.
