It's All About Me: I also like the Futurama quote.

Under the Sea: Neither seem good, so vote to cut both.

Xylophone Gag: First quote seems fine.

Try Not to Die: I like both the Runaways and the Incredibles quotes. I'd be fine with either.

Try Not to Die: Put both quotes on the quote page, put in the The Incredibles quote from farther down the page.

Man, I Feel Like a Woman has the classic problem of you have to read the trope description to understand the current quote. I suggest moving it to the quote page, and replacing it with the following quote:

Pete in Myka's body: Oh, yeah. we definitely switched bodies.
Myka in Pete's body: Pete, get your hands off my breasts.
-Warehouse13

That sounds better.

The Badass Boast quote is really long and potholed all to hell and back. (Which is really distracting.)

I'm not sure about replacing, but should the potholes at least be removed?

And if the consensus is replacement, the quotes page has a The Order of the Stick and Batman quotes I like. (There's a lot of quotes.)

When She Smiles now has two long song quotes. I vote getting rid of both.

My favorite is from the quotes page, ->Gabriel: "You hardly ever smile Sam, and you look so beautiful when you do. Your face lights up and your soul shines so bright." —>— Dancing Cows, a Supernatural fanfic

I stripped all the potholes out of the Badass Boast quote. It's still just as long, but it's easier to read...

Oooooh, I love that proposed quote for When She Smiles! Much better than either of the lyrics that are there now.

It also has an entertainingly surreal source title. I'm not sure if that's a pro or a con.

Does anyone have any input on the suggested change for Man, I Feel Like a Woman?

I don't see anything wrong with it. I don't know where it comes from, and I wasn't quite sure what trope it was, but after reading that, it was clear.

So, having just discovered the page True Love Is Boring, I was struck by how unnecessarily lengthy its page quote seemed to be. I'd like to replace it with this first sentence of the Cracked quote on the Quotes page:

I feel it sums up the trope in a pithier fashion.

Aye to that switch True Love Is Boring.

Yeah. Save the long quote, but put it on the quotes page and swap in the short one.

Edit: It's Probably Nothing has two quotes. I like the second one.

I don't mind which quote is kept on It's Probably Nothing. (Whichever is kept, the little "except when it's not" line should go; it's clutter.)

The quote on Bread, Eggs, Breaded Eggs is fine, but fairly bland as quotes for that trope go. I like the first two and the last one on the Quotes page.

I also like the second on It's Probably Nothing, and I agree that the except when it's not! should go.

It's Probably Nothing: Aye, keep the second one. No opinion on the little text.

I changed the little text on It's Probably Nothing to regular text.

Personally, I like the Homestar Runner one ( currently the last one on the Quotes page) for Bread, Eggs, Breaded Eggs.

Head-in-the-Sand Management has two quotes. The second one is a response to the first quote, so unless people really hate the first quote and have a suggested alternative, I think it's a gimme to just cut the second quote.

Head-in-the-Sand Management: Keep the first. I am frankly not clear on what the second is.

It's Probably Nothing: Moved first quote to quotes page.

Cut the second on Head-in-the-Sand Management. It adds nothing.
