Gonna cheat again, because I genuinely like this idea I've got and could totally see it as an episode: A Congressional candidate who had promised to crack[[Crackdown down]] on video games is found shot and when it's revealed that the prime suspect is a gamer, a media storm ensues. Turns out the gamer was innocent, the real killer was a lobbyist gave the candidate campaign funding in exchange for promoting her views, and she later killed him when the candidate played some of the games he would have been railing against and decides they're not as 'morally corrupt' as the lobbyist had led him to believe. The episode ends with a discussion on how media's always subject to controversy, and the accusations that video games faced were pretty much the same as the ones that music, television, and movies faced.

Perhaps, but I thought that the point of the Thread was to relay "interesting" ideas garnered from online idea script generators, like the one in the first post and the 7th Sanctum one.
Ideas thought up by humans (as opposed to those spit out by a generator) go here or possibly here.
On that note, I would like to see some new generators on this thread; generators have a tendency to get dated as series end and others begin.
