Fanfic Ideas You're Sure Only You Think Are Good

If you're going for an Original Flavor "write your own episode" type thing, then that sounds like a good idea.

I've been toying around with the idea of a Naruto / Bleach / Katekyō Hitman Reborn! Fusion Fic for years and I've never written it because of my own laziness. It'd also be the first fanfic I'd ever write if I got it doing it.

I have all the main characters in my mind, as well as a clear idea of the backstory for the world. The problem would be decided which arcs would take place where(which I've mostly hashed out), and how to deal with the Uchiha Plot Tumor since that's necessary for the final Naruto arc.

I also have an issue with how to handle guns in a Naruto setting, since most ninja wouldn't be able to deal with gun toting mafia and a key part of the Reborn setting is the Dying Will Bullet that the main character uses to fight with and power up. I'm also not a gun expert so I'd have to research the weakest guns I can think of to give my ninja protags a chance at winning.

Sailor Moon as a Humongous Mecha anime, with Usagi as the pilot of the Moon Mecha.

Mind you, my knowledge of mecha is limited to Transformers, and a bit of Mazinger Z and Pacific Rim, so maybe not.

A Sword Art Online x Fire Emblem fusion fic where Kirito isn't as OP as fuck plz nerf as in canon and acts like an actual anti-social person instead what the author thinks what an anti-social person is.

Awesome. Considering how Fire Emblem works, a character arc could definitely set up so that it lines up with what happens in the Abridged Series.

And due to the class system, Kirito gets two weaknesses that never really go away: Low durability and status ailment staves.

Until Kayaba reveals the class randomiser mechanic that gives him a new plate of bullshit along with everyone else.

I'd like to eventually do one that essentially takes Dragon Ball GT and Battle of Gods, and then combines their ideas, events, and characters into one cohesive (and hopefully good) story. Considering the massive hate against GT though...

So, I think that The Last Remnant crossed over with RWBY would make a great crossover.

Either team RWBY somehow goes to TLR world, or TLR world is the foundation of Remnant. Either or.

How about a crossover between My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and It? I can imagine the Mane Six's reaction to a shapeshifting Eldritch Abomination that preys on children. Or in this case, foals.

That sounds pretty cool in general.

Here's an idea I had:

Sailor Moon meets Steven Universe.

Basically, Chibi-Usa is Steven, the Outer Senshi are Garnet, Pearl and Amethyst (see if you can guess who's who), Mamoru is Greg, Usagi is (or was) Rose Quartz, and Hotaru is Lapis Lazuli. I'm still trying to figure out what roles the Inner Senshi should have, and who should be Jasper, Peridot, Ruby, Sapphire or any of the other roles.

Well I would, if I could figure out all the details. After all, I don't want it to be just a plain old Cookie Cutter Fic.

This is perhaps the weirdest fanfic I have thought of.

Pretty much transcribe the events of a let's play, then write up the characters reactions to the player's antics (example, Ahab making out with Quiet or the Doctor getting constantly annoyed with Ahab mocking him.) I did this before, but the let's play for that is Lost Forever.

I wanted to do a Rocky Horror/Night of the Living Dead crossover too, but the idea is sort of lost to me (basically Barbra and Johnny take Brad and Janet's place and enter Frank Furter's house during zombies)

This one time I wanted to write a Spongebob fic about Spongebob being hospitalized simply by making a salad (the horror!), and Mr. Krabs subs him with a Gordon Ramsey robot (deployed by Plankton to steal the krabby patty formula, no less).

But Ramsey-bot malfunctions while scanning the patties for their ingredients, and radioactively contaminates all the patties by cooking them inside its uranium core. It serves the patties to the customers, and all their faces melt off just seconds after eating them, except for Patrick, who seems to be unaffected by it.

I once had an idea for a fanfic that was basically Sonic Satam with Spongebob Squarepants characters (as well as a few OCs). And I mean that literally - it was basically a Cookie Cutterfic.

Miguel O'Hara finds his universe making less and less sense - in the "the fabric of reality itself is unraveling" kind of way, not the "Go Mad from the Revelation due to assorted social bullshit" kind of way (that's kind of normal for him) - and part-accidentally-part-necessarily ends up accumulating a harem (including, his fiancée Dana and a time-displaced Gwen Stacy, among others) in order to gain the additional tantric power needed to defeat the CEO of Alchemax who in this story is an alternate-timeline Peter Parker who tried going the Ozymandias route and then somehow wound up taking several levels in Raoh over the past several decades.

Cut to the massively climactic final battle complete with epically cheesy comic-type-lines ("Amazing. Spectacular. Sensational. Once upon a time, you were all of these things and more. But.... your time came and went, twencen! I'm the Spider-Man around here now. The Spider-Man of the future! THE SPIDER-MAN OF 2099!"). Miguel eventually triumphs over his foe, only to be given one final, ominously cryptic message ("Finally, Miguel... your training is complete. Now you're ready for the true threat.")....

...

....and then Deadpool suddenly wakes up, vows never to read shitty Nasuverse-x-Megaten crossover fic before bedtime anymore, and then promptly sets to doing naughty things with his smokin' hot succubus wife◊. Fade to black.
