These are what we call the 'YMMV items.' Things that some people find in this work. We call them 'your mileage might vary' because not everyone sees these things in the same way. This starts discussions in the trope lists, a thing we don't want. Please use the discussion page if you'd like to discuss any of these items.
"SHED.MOV". Some got a good laugh, but others found it more disturbing than funny.
Earlier, "DRESS.MOV". Many were disgusted by the way it went even further over the top than "APPLE.MOV"; others liked it for the exact same reason. Some considered it racist, while others realized that its attack was on Rarity, and not on the Mexicans.
More recently, the revelation of Appelox, the Holy Titan of Honesty has elicited mixed responses from followers of the Ask Jappleack Tumblr. While some fans are satisfied with his portrayal, others have found him to be quite ... silly.
The ending to "SWAG.MOV", specifically when Jappleack returns after saying all of reality from Appelox and everyone stating they don't care, and Spike telling her he is going to kill her. A lot of fans were not happy about this scene, finding rather unfunny, even for this series.
Designated Hero: The Mane cast are all a bunch of assholes, but they're the only ones who can save Ponyville.
Dude, Not Funny!: How the group treats Jappleack when she returns in "SWAG.MOV", especially Spike, who overreacts and threatens to kill her. Keep in mind that Jappleack was in a coma and had saved the entire universe before she returned, only to be told that nobody cares. There's Comedic Sociopathy, and then there's just being an outright ass.
Thankfully, the epilogue on the blog reveals if nothing else, Apple Bloom cares and respects her for what she's done.
In "PARTY.MOV", one of the ponies photographing Pinkie Pie about a minute in looks a lot like this OC, but with a different cutie mark and as a Pegasus. He noticed.
Also from "PARTY.MOV", in one scene Pinkie sprouts a human finger for the sole purpose of tapping it on a bench. In the Friendship is Magic episode "Too Many Pinkie Pies", one of the Pinkie clones grows her own set of fingers by blowing into her hoof.
Jappleack's favorite book was revealed as The Very Hungry Caterpillar back in the blog's Q&A format. Fast forward to the reveal of Appleox, who's not only hungry for planar dimensions, but resembles a giant caterpillar...
Pinkie Pie can grow fingers out of her hooves apparently.
The battle between Rainbow Dash and Discord in SWAG.MOV is remarkably similar to the one between Twilight and Tirek in Twilight'sKingdom.
It Was His Sled: Derpy Hooves being a toaster cozy is promoted on T-shirts.
So Okay, It's Average: Arguably, "SPIKE.MOV", what with the video only lasting for almost one and a half minutes with Spike trying to do a trick at some tiny skateboard (apparently, Tech Deck) with his fingers while Paco watches and with a twist ending. Considering it was an April Fools' Day video, it might have been justified.
Weird Al Effect: More people are familiar with Fluttershy's song, "Gunna Eat'cha Brains", than the Fat Albert theme which it's a parody of.
What an Idiot: Discord's been attacking Ponyville since "DRESS.MOV". What does Apple Bloom do during this? Stare at her rump as her cutie mark appears during the carnage, causing her to get promptly squished by Discord. In-character, when you think about it, but still a case of this trope.
Also, Rainbow Dash. Pinkie Pie and Spike bolt the instant Fluttershy bursts in with a chainsaw, but she just stands there. And dies.
