Paramount+ release date: 12/20/2023

The sixth Paramount+ special follows Randy Marsh starting an OnlyFans account as the children of South Park try to get the most Cred (a sports drink).

South Park (Not Suitable For Children) provides examples of:

  • Affably Evil: Janice comes across as a sweet girlfriend towards Roger while making a genuine effort to be a Good Stepmother to Clyde, even if she’s willing to use influencers to manipulate children and later kill them off, just to get Clyde’s views.
  • Alas, Poor Villain:
    • Though he had been trying to manipulate them, Clyde, Butters, Tweek, and even Cartman are shocked when Logan LeDouche is shot and killed by the auctioneer, since they had promised him that they would protect him. Clyde is later furious at Janice for it when he finds out she was behind it.
    • The death of the auctioneer is also painted as somewhat tragic, since he was just the middle man.
  • Always Someone Better: Sharon ends up being a far more competent and popular OnlyFans influencer than Randy when she gets more likes and money for her videos than Randy ever did.
  • Bad Boss: After hiring Logan LeDouche to peddle and advertise Cred, Janice has him killed when he becomes a threat to Clyde finding out her role in the scheme. The fact that Clyde finds out soon thereafter regardless means his death was All for Nothing in the grand scheme of things.
  • Bait-and-Switch:
    • Just before the opening titles, Mr. Mackey says everyone is going to see Mrs. Streibel's OnlyFans content in a way that implies the viewers are going to see it too, but it's kept offscreen.
    • When Randy is taken to FBI headquarters, he is accused of sending pornography to minors. We then see... photos of miners with their penises sticking out.
    • At the end, Cartman, Butters, and Tweek come back to school, appearing to tell children the truth about Cred. It turns out they've got limited edition Cred bottles given by Randy to show the school.
    • Clyde asks Janice if he can call her Mom. She's obviously very flattered as she's spent the whole episode trying to parent him. He uses what would normally be a sweet moment in any other context to shout "Fuck you, Mom!"
  • The Bad Guy Wins: In the end, Janice gets exactly what she wants; getting Clyde to call her mom. The fact that Clyde is cursing at her while doing so does nothing to deter her joy.
  • Benevolent Boss: As the founder and leader of the Cred Affinity Group, Cartman is genuinely kind to the other members of the group along with keeping Clyde a part of the group despite lying about having Cred.
  • Big Bad: Clyde’s stepmother Janice is the main antagonist of this special, being the one who is responsible for the creation and distribution of Cred, while paying influencers like LoganLeDouche to peddle and advertise it, because she wanted to try and reach Clyde and positively influence him as a mother but felt that she couldn’t do it face to face because being a stepmother meant that she wasn’t his “real mother”.
  • Big "NO!": Cartman utters one when Spencer gets away with the Cred bottles.
  • Bland-Name Product:
    • Cred is a very clear substitute for the sports drink Prime, which was created by influencers KSI and Logan Paul, right down to the bottle and label.
    • The logo of Cred's Big Boy Blueberry flavor parodies Gerber.
  • Blowing a Raspberry: Randy gives an FBI investigator a raspberry when he's being interrogated.
  • The Bus Came Back: Strong Woman has her first speaking role since Season 23.
  • Character Check: After years as Jimmy's Butt-Monkey rival paired up with Mimsy, Nathan is once again a shady dealer who goes solo.
  • Comically Missing the Point: Randy is completely oblivious to Sharon making a Stealth Insult about the size of his junk.
  • Continuity Nod:
  • Contrasting Sequel Antagonist: Janice is a Knight Templar Parent like Sheila Brovlofski in South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, but while Sheila wanted to eliminate media she deemed a corrupting influence on children, Janice enabled Bad Influencers to incite riots and push addictive substances on children in order to subtly influence Clyde without him knowing. Also Janice was a Pushover Parent who enabled Clyde's temper tantrums while Sheila is very strict and authoritative with her children.
  • A Day in the Limelight: Clyde and Tweek are among the focuses in the Cred plot, alongside Cartman and Butters.
  • Does This Remind You of Anything?: The Clyde subplot follows the children of South Park Elementary desiring "cred" (depicted as a drink named Cred).
  • The Dog Was the Mastermind: The person who hired Logan LeDouche turns out to be Clyde's stepmother, Janice.
  • Do Not Do This Cool Thinginvoked: In-Universe. While revealing that Mrs. Streibel has been suspended for running an OnlyFans account, Strong Woman explains that teachers get barely above minimum wage while the "side job" was netting $10,000 a week. Cue Randy immediately trying to gain a following "to match the rise in gas prices."
  • Double-Meaning Title: Not Suitable for Children refers to both the special's more explicit content and the fact that Cred isn't healthy for kids.
  • Early Personality Signs: Clyde had always been The Generic Guy, but this episode gives him A Day in the Limelight where he starts to show a brattiness and selfishness that reflect his future self from the Post-Covid specials.
  • Easily Forgiven: Though Clyde does tell off Janice for orchestrating the entire fad to influence him (and then having a man Killed to Uphold the Masquerade), he still accepts her as his new mom despite the grief she indirectly caused him. Roger also doesn't seem fazed after learning of his new girlfriend's atrocities.
  • Expy Coexistence: When Cartman watches a TikTok influencer, the influencer states that "Cred has more electrolytes than Gatorade or Prime".
  • Fan Disservice: Many of Randy's scenes show him flashing his junk around, and it's never a pleasant sight.
  • Fanservice: Played for Laughs and Averted for the most part. Despite the content warning saying there will be sexual content, the only explicit content shown are exposed men's genitals, which are meant to be viewed as Fan Disservice and not fanservice, especially when Randy's Teeny Weenie is shown. That said, there is one instance where fanservice is played straight: when Sharon's OnlyFans page shows Sharon in her underwear.
  • Female Gaze: Played for Fan Disservice. For most of the episode, Randy's penis is plainly visible with framing and editing going out of its way to keep it on screen as long as possible.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus:
    • You may notice that Clyde is logged onto his father's account when he watches a YouTube video of Logan LeDouche.
    • Two suggested profiles on OnlyFans are YouTuber Tana Mongeau and adult actress Lena the Plug, who themselves have OnlyFans accounts in real life.
  • Good Stepmother: Janice at least tries to be a good stepmother to Clyde, who seems to be looking out for his best interests, and explains why Clyde can't have Cred and how unhealthy it is for him.
  • Head-Turning Beauty: Sharon ends up becoming an extremely popular pornstar after posting pornographic videos onto OnlyFans, where she gains thousands of subscribers who give her so much money that she's able to buy countless luxurious items for herself.
  • His Name Is...: Logan is shot right when he's about to tell the boys who he was hired by.
  • Hope Spot: Logan's assassin is caught, and he's revealed to be the auctioneer. The boys interrogate him, only for the FBI to reveal that he's merely a middleman, with the real influencers still a mystery.
  • Karma Houdini:
    • Clyde's stepmother, Janice, gets away with having Logan LeDouche Killed to Uphold the Masquerade.
    • Nathan scams Clyde by selling him a cred bottle that had been discontinued months before and isn't ever shown getting punished or called out for it.
  • Male Frontal Nudity: The special has more on-screen male genitalia than any other episode in the series. None of it is sexy, especially considering most of it is Randy's.
  • Male Gaze: Sharon's OnlyFans page features her posing suggestively while wearing nothing but her underwear, giving a clear shot of exposed backside and butt while her avatar pic gives a good close up on her breasts.
  • Milkman Conspiracy: The entire motivation for Janice's influencer plot was to connect with Clyde.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Sharon is definitely considered to be a Head-Turning Beauty with her pornographic videos, to the point her subscribers give her money to watch videos of her performing sexual acts on her body, and while the viewers are unable to see these pornographic videos, they do get a glimpse of her OnlyFans page, which features her wearing nothing but her lingerie and getting a good view of her figure and rear, while her avatar features Sharon only wearing a bra, which shows off her breasts.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Randy becomes so disgusted with the fact that his actions resulted in miners showing off their penises, that he willingly cooperates with the FBI.
  • Never My Fault:
    • The higher-ups at South Park Elementary suspended Mrs. Streibel for running an OnlyFans account, even though she only did it because she needed the extra income, since her job as a teacher wasn't paying enough for her to get by. Even though it's pointed out, they refuse to consider this for a minute.
    • The South Park parents refuse to take responsibility for their children's internet habits, which as PC Principal points out, are a direct result of them giving the children smartphones and not supervising their use. Stephen Stotch goes so far as to declare that the kids are the school's.
  • New Parent Nomenclature Problem: Janice wants Clyde call her mom/think of her as his mother. Clyde angrily points out that Janice technically isn't even his stepmom, just his dad's girlfriend. Eventually we get this exchange. She's still flattered by it.
Clyde: Janice, can I call you mom?
    Janice: Of course you can.
    Clyde: Fuck you, Mom!
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed: Logan LeDouche is obviously based on Logan Paul.
  • Nutritional Nightmare: Cred is implied to be this. While it contains zero sugar, it has numerous ingredients and chemicals that don't make it very safe for consumption. A kid even outright mentions in the commercial that he can't feel his face anymore after drinking so much. It is, however, stated that it is not meant for children, not that it stops them from drinking it anyway.
  • One Dialogue, Two Conversations: Randy talks to an OnlyFans rep over how to boost his numbers, and when asked what his long-term goals are, Randy casually says he hopes to beat his wife. He means acquiring more followers across the different platforms, but the rep obviously misinterprets it as physical violence and is seeming okay with it.
  • Out of Focus: Kenny only makes a brief, silent cameo in the opening scene. Less extreme, meanwhile, but Stan and Kyle are only occasionally seen throughout the episode, caught up in the Cred fad but nowhere near as much as Cartman's group.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • While PC Principal and Strong Woman have to suspend Mrs. Streibel for having an OnlyFans account, they are completely understanding of why she started it in the first place and defend her actions to the angry South Park Elementary parents.
    • Cartman offers Stan to join his affinity group, though the latter declines the offer.
    • When Cartman, Butters, and Tweek all get Cred Jellyroll Midnight Wafflehouse bottles from Randy, he decides to hand Clyde a bottle of the Cred despite Clyde having lied to them about having Cred in the first place. Usually, Cartman would have kicked Clyde out of the affinity group and made fun of him for not having a special brand of Cred, but this time, Cartman decides to act uncharacteristically generous and keeps Clyde as a member of the group.
  • Product Placement:
    • Deconstructed. Randy learns that the influencer culture encourages people to follow popular trends to get more viewers, so he gets in on the Cred craze. It's later revealed that Logan was not sponsored by Cred but was doing the same thing. Then when their viewership gets high enough to get noticed that's when actual sponsors will court you, but this is portrayed as an auction where the Influencer is bought out by any number of companies or even countries and they have no idea what they are actually promoting.
    • Also played straight: all the bags Sharon bought thanks to her OnlyFans money sport the logos of real life brands like Louis Vuitton.
  • Ripped from the Headlines: The plot being kicked off by a teacher running an OnlyFans account mirrors a then-recent trend of teachers resorting to performing on OnlyFans for extra income.
  • Second Love:
    • Janice is this for Clyde's father, whose previous wife died in "Reverse Cowgirl".
    • Daniel Tanner could be this for Heidi Turner regarding their Ship Tease, since Heidi previously dated Eric Cartman before she broke up with him in "Splatty Tomato". In turn, Heidi would be this for Daniel since his previous girlfriend, Annie Knitts, broke up with him in "Skank Hunt".
  • Shady Scalper: Nathan sells Cred behind the school temp building for ridiculously high prices, with some of his cheapest stuff being sixty-five dollars. When Clyde isn't able to afford any of it, Nathan gives him an empty bottle for three dollars and suggests that he can just fill it with something else to make it look like the real thing. Unfortunately for Clyde, said bottle used to contain a discontinued flavor that attracts the other kids' attention and exposes the ruse almost immediately after they discover it to instead be apple juice upon drinking it.
  • Shameless Fanservice Girl: While Sharon isn't obsessed with showing off her private parts like Randy, when she bets that she can make more money than him, she has no problems exposing her body for strangers to see online and shows no shame spending the money she makes from her pornographic videos on luxurious items for herself.
  • Ship Tease: Heidi Turner has one with Daniel Tanner where they are seen in the hallway bonding over their Cred while smiling at each other.
  • Shout-Out:
    • "I Got Cred, Bitches" likely references the memetic TikTok song "We got Prime, boys".
    • One of the Cred flavors is Peppa Pig Peppermint.
  • Skewed Priorities: While watching Sharon's stream, Randy nitpicks about the subpar lighting and audio quality while ignoring that Sharon is having sex with another man.
  • Spotting the Thread: Stan and Kyle are able to see through and expose Clyde's trick to try and trick everyone into thinking he had some Cred when he just bought an empty Cred bottle for three dollars and filled it with apple juice because the flavor on the bottle that he was using, Moonrise Mellow, had been discontinued ages ago.
  • Stock Footage: One playground scene is reused from "Deep Learning".
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: Janice, for Clyde's mom. She has a similar palette scheme and hairstyle to Betsy, to the point where you could easily mistake Janice for being an updated version of Betsy's character design.
  • Take Our Word for It: Unlike Randy's OnlyFans content, Sharon's can only be heard.
  • Take That!:
    • It's remarked on that Mrs. Streibel only needs to get an OnlyFans in the first place because, as a teacher, she is paid so little she needs to bolster her income with it to get by. Naturally, none of the high-ranking school staff who point this out even suggest paying her more, but simply suspend her.
    • The South Park parents' refusal to take responsibility for the consequences of spoiling their kids and expecting the school to raise them to be well-behaved is one towards permissive parenting.
    • The entire episode is one big fat jab at influencers, especially those who have children as part of their audience, showing them as obnoxious idiots who only care about views and money.
    • Corporations are mocked for their reliance on influencers to promote their products.
    • Big tech companies are called out for silencing anyone who speaks out against them.
    • Randy mocks the production values of OnlyFans videos as he watches Sharon's stream.
    • Sponsorships on YouTube get flack as well, as Clyde is annoyed that he has to wait for a Cred ad when he just wants a video to boost his confidence.
    • The scene showing hundreds of children violently fighting for Mega Cred bottles at a CVS Pharmacy is a swipe at artificial scarcity.
    • The fact that many scenes in this special show the uncensored penises of Randy and the Pueblo reporter, while female nudity is only inferred despite the special promoting it, is possibly a jab at many adult animated shows promising mature content that constantly feature full male nudity while shying away from female nudity.
    • When Randy is detained, he tries to claim he's a sovereign citizen to get the FBI off his back. Naturally, no one is amused.
    • At the auction, the representatives of the Russian government look like peasants compared to the government representatives from other countries, a jab at Russia's situation caused by their war against Ukraine and the subsequent sanctions from the international community.
  • Teeny Weenie: Randy's penis is noticeably not very wide, as Sharon points out.
  • Too Dumb to Live:
    • Several of the kids desperate to get Mega Cred are willing to jump in front of the delivery truck with several of them dying by being run over.
    • Honestly, with Logan's compulsion to update his social media even when he's supposed to be in hiding, it's a wonder he wasn't assassinated sooner than he was.
    • After failing to defend his company's position, the auctioneer decides to take the heavily armed FBI agents with a sniper rifle. He's promptly riddled with bullets.
  • Ugly Guy, Hot Wife: Randy and Sharon, as showcased when they both create OnlyFans accounts and the latter is infinitely more popular than the former without even trying.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: While Janice’s actions in influencer, like LoganLeDouche, to hook children on the Cred craze and latter killing him off may come across as extreme, her only reasons for committing such actions are to try connecting with her stepson, Clyde, and get him to view her as a mother figure.
  • Would Hurt a Child: After killing Logan, the auctioneer opens fire on the boys as well, though considering who his boss is, it's unlikely he was aiming to kill them (or at least Clyde).
  • You Are Not My Father: At one point Clyde points out that Janice isn't even his stepmom, but just his dad's girlfriend.
