YMMV / South Park (Not Suitable For Children)

Go To

  • Alternative Character Interpretation:
    • Heidi Turner is seen chatting with Daniel Tanner about their Cred while the two smile at each other. With the confirmation that boys and girls in South Park Elementary are dating each other again, it leads speculation on whether Heidi and Daniel have began dating each other since they are no longer with their previous partners (Eric Cartman and Annie Knitts respectively), or are simply having a friendly conversation.
    • Was the auctioneer really Too Dumb to Live by firing at the armed cops with his sniper or was he committing Suicide by Cop because he knew that Janice would probably have him killed as well? His last words were "you'll never take me alive, coppers" after all.
  • Best Known for the Fanservice: More like Fan Disservice, as it shows more middle-age men genitalia than all previous episodes and may be best known for that.
  • Crosses the Line Twice: By the end of the episode, Clyde is finally ready to call Janice "Mom"... only so he can yell "Fuck you, Mom!" Rather than take offense, she feels accepted.
  • Nausea Fuel: All of the many male genital scenes shown in this the special are meant to disgust the audience and not tantalize them.
  • Spiritual Sequel: Unlike the last four Paramount+ specials which were two-parters, this one and its predecessor are separate stories sharing only thematic connections. Both focus on the current state of pop-culture and modern media, but Joining the Panderverse focused in mainstream media while this one is more about the online side of things.
  • Squick: When the children are rioting at the convenience store, the news reporter sent to the scene is naked from the waist down. Keep in mind that children's heads are typically level with adults' pelvises in South Park.
  • The Woobie: Clyde feels isolated due to being the only kid at school who isn't allowed Cred. He is also having difficulty coping with his dad marrying another woman.
