Elliot Goes To School was a web series created by kitty0706, made with Garry's Mod, and includes voice actors. It involves random explosions, horrible teachers, penis jokes, and overall total chaos.

The plot consists of the overly random antics that occur at the new high school that Elliot (the main character) attends, along with his band of misfits that constitute his friends, and each episodes plot goes from Kitty0706's unique take on the everyday rituals of the American education system, from field trips to Mondays. Although there have been episodes that haven't been based entirely within the school or not called "Elliot Goes to School" (namely 'Elliot Goes Camping'), they are still canon to the overall plot.

The series ran for five episodes from 2009 to 2012 with fair distance between their release dates. After the fifth episode, "Elliot Goes Camping", was released, the series saw a 3-year hiatus. Unfortunately, this episode turned out to be the last one that Kitty0706 would ever produce, since in January 2015 he would die after a long battle with leukemia.

The series can be found here and was made by the late kitty0706.

Not to be confused with the similarly-named Timothy Goes to School.

This show provides examples of:

  • And the Adventure Continues: Which lapses into Bittersweet Ending as Camping ends with Elliot getting back on his bike and riding off for more wacky adventures. Of course, this would end up being the final episode due to Kitty0706's untimely passing.
  • Art Evolution: The slapstick animation gets more and more elaborate when compared to earlier episodes' simple ragdoll shenanigans.
  • Baldness Mockery: In one episode, Mr. Higglesworth insults Brandon by calling him bald, but Brandon points out Mr. Higglesworth is also bald. Mr. Higglesworth angrily points out that he does have hair, but Elliot says he's technically balding. Parodied when Elmer, who is actually bald, insults Elliot for being bald when he's clearly not.
  • Butt-Monkey: Almost half of the cast got tricked, shamed, and smashed a lot. Examples like Elliot, Jimbo, Dan and Chris, Emo Kid, you name a few. Whether it's from Brandon's own machinations or Mr. Higglesworth abuse, no one escapes the slapstick.
  • The Cameo: Many.
    • Bill Clinton, who is addicted to smoking "doobies", he later pops up in "Elliot Goes Camping", now homeless and wearing clown make-up due to his addiction.
    • The Postal Dude in his Chemistry Class.
    • The Team Fortress 2 Sniper, for a split second.
    • Lock from The Nightmare Before Christmas is found sitting next to a Combine Elite (from the Half-Life series) who he may or may not be friends with, those two are the only recurring characters in Elliot's Italian Class that haven't been used in a joke, or anything for that matter.
    • Francis from Left 4 Dead is the driver of the school bus.
    • The G-Man from Half-Life is an often recurring character, and is often shouting at teachers.
      • He's actually a representation of kitty0706's good friend F O L D I N G C H A I R and is accordingly voiced by him.
  • Captain Obvious: Brandon's attempts at dramatic narration during Elliot Goes Camping come off as this. Often times he'll be interrupted or drowned out.
  • Character Action Title
  • Characterization Marches On:
    • Lampshaded and zigzagged. "Elliot Goes Camping" shows that Brandon has moved on from being an annoying high-pitched prick to an annoying narrator of events. He still lapses into his original persona at times, but he clarified that this was due to playing a bit too much of Alan Wake.
Brandon: Yeah, I played Alan Wake too much, that's why I talk like this.
    • Elliot flip flops between Only Sane Man and The Quiet One but soon gets more dialogue that shows off that, while he is still the only one who seems to have a good head on his shoulders, is not free from the G-Mod insanity he's animated in.
  • Class Clown: Brandon is a great example of this. However, if someone makes a joke toward him, he'll just sit back in his seat and mumble, "Oh. Ok."
  • Cloud Cuckoo Lander: Elmer is fairly grounded in reality for one of these, but never for one whole sentence at a time. Case in point, when he interrupts Elliot and Xavier's argument about their GPS map...
Elmer: Stop arguing and divorce already! My nails are sensitive.
    (Creepy high-contrast close-up of his freshly-painted fingernails)
  • Continuity Nod:
    • In "Field Trip", Elliot points out that he already answered Mr. Cool's question in the previous episode.
    • In "Mondays", Xavier steals a Macbook to replace the laptop Francis destroyed in the last episode.
    • In "Elliot Goes Camping", Elliot points out that Xavier's Macbook is stolen.
      • In the same episode, Elliot also makes note of the fact that the last time he cursed was back in the very first episode.
  • "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: Turns out that the campsite the characters had been looking for in "Elliot Goes Camping" for about 12 minutes had been in Elliot's backyard all along.
  • Delinquents: Dan and Chris were your typical highschool delinquent and a bully, to little effectiveness.
  • Deranged Animation: Yes.
  • Emo Teen: There was a kid who perfectly fulfilled the emo stereotype, stabbing himself with a needle and such. There's also his One-Scene Wonder buddy Crabcore Kid, who's obsessed with strumming the guitar while squatting low down like a crab, hence the name.
  • Facepalm: Elliot performs one of these in the camping episode.
  • Groin Attack: "Oh, my jewels!"
  • HA HA HA—No: "Ha! Fapp! You're so funny! Ha ha ha ha ha no.".
  • High School: It's in the title.
  • Hilarity Ensues: Essentially the norm in Elliot's high school mishaps.
  • Insane Troll Logic: "I told you he got tackled by a squirrel! That's his clone!"
  • Late for School: Elliot is late for school every single day. Each episode, in fact, includes a montage usually set to intense music of him rushing to school.
  • Lovable Nerd: Xavior 3.10. His name should say enough. When he's bored he pulls out his MacBook (which he stole from Best Buy around Christmas as his original Macbook were destroyed by Francis) or his iPhone, and sometimes no-clips out of the area by means of travel.
  • Medium Awareness: Everyone is aware that they are in a GMod series, especially Xavier, who often messes around with the coding.
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed:
    • Apart of using Mossman's model, Ms. Person is suspiciously similar to Stephen Hawkins, down to being crippled from waist down and being wheelchair-bound, slumped posturing, and using a text-to-speech program to speak.
    • The Gym Teacher looks like Bruce Willis and speaks like Arnold Schwarzenegger.
  • No Fourth Wall:
    • At one point, when Xavier needs to look up where a destination is, he has to close Sony Vegas...which is in the middle of editing the very video we are watching.
    • When trying to leave the chemistry class, Postal Dude tries to break into a car parked outside, only to change his mind because the cars in the town is only a prop anyway.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Played with. The first time Brandon reverted to his normal voice was in a Dude, Not Funny! reaction to one of Mr. Higglesworth's insults. Later episodes portray this as him wanting to clarify things, being serious for a moment, or just for shits and giggles.
  • Ordinary High-School Student: Elliot. ... To an extent.
  • Orphaned Series: Unfortunately fell victim to this after series creator kitty0706 died from leukemia.
  • Only Sane Man: Elliot often plays this role, though it's clear he's just as nuts as the rest of them.
  • Politically Incorrect Hero: Especially in earlier episodes, Elliot and friends enjoy throwing around homophobic slurs like there's no tomorrow. That said, it's a bit justified by everyone being really immature and juvenile sophomore high schoolers trying to be edgy.
  • Reality Warper: Xavier often messes around with the environment's coding to get himself and the others out of a jam.
  • Rewatch Bonus: The fifth episode becomes a bit more hilarious when you find out where the group's camping ground is located. It's right in Elliot's backyard.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Mr. Higglesworth throws these out at least once per episode.
  • Rousing Speech: Elliot gives one at the end of the first episode. You'd never expect that from a guy like him.
  • Rule of Funny
  • Running Gag: Lots of them.
    • Elliot is always Late for School.
    • Brandon saying, "H-hold on a second." and punching Ms. Person across the room.
    • The cinder block that keeps hitting Elliot, normally when he is about to ride his bike.
    • ELLIOT IS A FURRY (albeit a damn good one).
    • Mr. Higglesworth failing everyone on everything.
    • Their Gym Teacher is an ex-army General and speaks like Arnold Schwarzenegger.
    • Brandon switches between CloudCuckooLander/Jerkass and suprisingly calm, usually in response to characters who just aren't being funny or to a well placed retort, he quickly switches back though.
    • Fagolas.
    • "Shut your face!"
  • Sadist Teacher: Mr. Tittles- I mean, Mr. Higglesworth. He throws desks, chairs, and boots at his students on a regular basis, frequently calls them "fagola," and his very first line was, "Sit your fat asses down, you pack of used condoms!"
    • It's implied though, that the reason why he hates his students is because of their unwillingness to actually be educated.
    • To an extent, the Gym Teacher loves to badmouth his students and put them in sadistic military drills.
  • Self-Deprecation: The series pokes fun at the fact that kitty0706 likes to draw furry art many times.
  • Sincerity Mode: Whenever Brandon slips back into his normal voice as opposed to his usual high-pitched one.
  • Take That!: "Field Trip" takes some time to rip into Postal.
Brandon (normal voice): Hey, Mr. Postal dude. You're not funny. And you look like a gay version of Neo that's voice actor fails at being cool.
  • Why Are You Not My Son?: Elliot's grandmama thinks of Jimbo as the grandson she never had when he calls her out for parking her monster truck so far away from the curb. Then she rescinds the compliment and tells him and the others to go die before dumping them out.
  • You All Look Familiar: Plenty of named characters were edits of several Half-Life 2 citizens, with male_09 being the most common. Case in point; Elliot, Wesley, Chris, and both Emo and Crabcore Kid were using male_09 as a base.
